I haven't read the book but it seems like Eternal Ones in the sense that it is not very well known or very well acclaimed, just a nice book to have under your belt. As for the story of Old Magic, I don't know much, sorry! But hopefully the next update will clear somethings up for you about this book and so you'll see if you'd like it or not, if you have any questions after that feel free to PM/scrap me!

Part 1

"The Devil Child"

"She's been possessed by the devil mother!" Trishna exclaimed trying to make sense to her mother.

"Trishna shut up will you! She's your sister and knowing her since childhood, you should know how difficult this is for her! My poor baby worked so hard to get rid of those dreams and now their back haunting her," Padmini went off, making her concern evident.

"Your family's really entertaining," Beau stated as he closed the door.

"Beau! Thank god!" She jumped off her bed to be engulfed in his arms.

"Stop thanking god, it's me who traveled to 3 different supermarkets to find this," he pulled out a pint of Ben and Jerry's Red Velvet Cake Ice Cream and a pint of their Cookie Dough Ice Cream.

"Omigosh! Beau! This is why your my favorite person!" She grabbed a pint and popped it open.

"So how bad have they gotten?" He asked making himself comfortable on his bed.

"Well they just started, and usually in the initial phase, I get to sleep most of the night and then they start. But oddly..."

"They all end at 2 am on the dot. I know, I've only known you for like all my life." Beau completed her sentence.

"Yeah yeah, shut up smartass." She chucked a pillow at him whilst stealing a spoonful of Cookie Dough Ice Cream from his pint.

"You always do that!" He tried swatting her away.

"Because I'm fabulous! Be jealous!" She crashed on him as he gathered her into his arms.

"You know if this was any other guy my mom would be having a heart attack," She mentioned. "I guess having a gay best friend has its benefits," she chuckled against his chest.

"Of course, who wouldn't want 6 feet of warm flesh to use as a personal pillow?" He scoffed.

"I remember how heartbroken Trishna was when you told her you were gay, I still remember her fasting for you on that Hindu festival I told you about." Madhu burst into laughter.

"I have to admit, I was quite flattered." Beau took in a spoonful of her Red Velvet Ice Cream.

"Anyways, my mom's probably planning on taking me to Dr. Hemsworth again."

"You mean that nutjob therapist?"

"Yeah, cause remember when I was like 8 and the dreams went away? Well my mom and the entire town believed that it was due to my "therapy" with Dr. Hemsworth."

"Apparently you were possessed by a ghost and Dr. Hemsworth shooed it away," Beau laughed at the absurtidy of the town.

"You see that's one thing I hate about this place, every one's so orthodox. If someone's a bit different they're automatically Satan worshippers or possessed by ghosts,"

"That's why we're best friends. Since I'm gay, these people consider me to be a sinner. We live in a judgemental society." He jumped off the bed.

"Sweety! Your appointment with Dr. Hemsworth is in a half an hour, I reckon we get going now!" Padmini suggested all the way from the living room.

"Ma, I actually think I'll just go with Beau today!" she replied in the same volume.

"Do I even get to be asked before you sign me up for things?" Beau whined.

"I knew you wouldn't say no so I just saved myself the time," She chuckled pulling him out the door grabbing their coats.

"I can't believe I let you do this to me," Beau whispered as they waited in the waiting room for Dr. Hemsworth.

"Oh come on! Quit being such a baby! Would you rather leave me here alone to die with that nutjob?" She kicked him.

"Ms. Malik, Dr. Hemsworth is ready to meet with you." Mrs. Davis, the same secretary thats been working at that place for the past 11 years called her in.

"Wish my soul luck," Beau said.

"I think your forgetting you just have to sit there while I have to actually go through with this," She whispered back.

"Ms. Malik, so nice to see you." Dr. Hemsworth got up from his loveseat to shake her hand. "Please dear, have a seat." He gestured towards the comfortable couch. Perhaps that was the only good thing about therapists, they didn't have those ice-cold examination beds. "And I see you have Mr. Hathaway here with you as well," Dr. Hemsworth took notice of Beau.

"Please, just call me Beau."

"Yes, of course." The old man sat back down in his seat. "So Ms. Malik, what brings you here today?"

"Isn't it obvious doc? The dreams."

"They came back?" He sounded... delighted?

"Yeah, the first intense one was last night. Before that I would just have these moments where I'd get lost as have some strange visions but the first dream was last night."

"And let me guess, it ended at..."

"2 am with a gunshot. Yes." She completed for him.

Dr. Hemsworth seemed tense for a second. He wiped his face with his tie and got up.

"Listen Madhu, there's something I knew ever since you began having those dreams but you were too young to understand." He faced Beau, "Would you mind leaving us alone for a few?"

"Don't worry doc, Beau's closer to me than my own mom. He stays. Anyways, go on," Madhu stated asking him to continue.

"Very well then, now I know you both think I'm a nutjob." He cleared earning a chuckle out of the duo. "But what I'm about to tell you, as ridiculous as it may seem, you have no other option but to believe it."

Meanwhile. Somewhere in Manhattan.

He finished the last page of the script as he set it aside, gulping the last of his wine down.

Getting up from his comfortable position in the recliner, he roamed around the new house he bought, or so it seemed to the world.

In reality this stoned mansion was anything but new to him. He knew this place inside out and he wanted nothing more than to lead the rest of his existance blissfully with her in this stoned mansion.

As he made his way into the beautiful bedroom, he felt his desire grow.

Sweet lord, how much longer did he have to wait for her?

A/N: I hope this answers some of your questions. I don't want to give away much, next few (2) updates will clear a bunch up! Promise! And Beau? Don't you just love him! He was one of my favorie characters in this book, such an amazing friend he is! I love writing about his bonding with Madhu. I tried to describe the mental and close-minded state of the town as well as the past of Madhu's experiences with these dreams. I know it's confusing but just trust your Shwetzy!
