I have so much work to do but I had to write something before I hop on to it.
{Redefining Forever}
"But there was still something missing. Something that nagged at her-an emptiness she couldn't explain. There were mornings she woke with her heart pounding wildly and the sensation of arms wrapped around her. But the feeling slipped away the moment she opened her eyes, and no matter how quickly she squeezed them shut, she couldn't recapture the contentment she'd felt."
-Kristen Miller, The Eternal Ones
Part 1
"Sweet Dreams"
She saw him again. It was the same eyes. The same two eyes that reflected posessiveness, security, and an ishq that was more of a junoon. That's all she needed to know it was him.
She didn't bother telling anyone about him because being called crazy is not something she was fond of. But she swore she saw him, felt him, he was there. There was no way she could imagine such flawless eyes, they were there.
He walked up to her and gently laid his cool palms about the perimeter of her face. She knew it was real, she felt the heat leaving her body and into his palms.
Thermal Equilibrium perhaps?
Damn those excessive science classes she took in high school! Because even with the knowledge and logical explanation, she felt as though this occured because everything that is a part of her, be it her own body heat, is attracted to him, even his palms.
He leaned in and whispered, "I love you."
His eyes reflected his words as they softened. She always considered those eyes of his to be like an artist's clay, they always molded into what the artist himself felt. And this feeling of love, it caused that sparkle in his eyes to appear.
"I love you too," she whispered as he leaned into kiss her.
"I think you're forgetting something," she chuckled as she gestured towards the scarf that covered his face and head, and only revealed his eyes.
"Terribly sorry," he bowed his head and brought his hand over to unwrap the black freeflowing scarf only to be interupted by a gunshot.
She woke up, her heart racing, her face covered in sweat. She eyed the clock, 2 am.
Figures, that was usually the time the dream ended. But she was so close to seeing his face this time.
"Madhu! Darling did you have another one of those dreams?" Padminia ran into the room.
"No mom, I'm fine." She assured her as she wiped the sweat on her face with a cloth. "It's just getting a bit too hot in here is all, I'm sure once we get that AC, things will be back to normal," she convinced as Padmini with a smile walked out.
"Good night dear, sweet dreams."
"Sweet dreams?" she scoffed to herself. "More like nightmares," she shook her head in disapproval as she laid back down to sleep.

Somewhere in Manhattan Island.
"She's alive," a man whispered in relief, "And she felt me."

A/N: I read the book The Eternal Ones by Kristen Miller quite a while ago and I remember liking it. If you want to know if this book is right for you than just comment with the kind of books you like and I'll tell you! And so randomly I just remembered this book a few days ago and my weird mind started incorperating RishBala with it, which is not shocking for my brain at all (lol!) so I came up with this. This is based on the book The Eternal Ones by Kristen Miller although I will twist quite a few things up in my own Shwetzy style to make it similar but not exactly the same. Perhaps a lot different, I don't know yet! Each part will start with a quote from the book. I can tell you that it is not supernatural, it is a fantasy. There is a difference that you can go look up on google bachas! And one more thing,
No vampires. No werewolves.
Shocked you didn't I?
Love,
Shweta <3
