Rk carried Madhu who was looking like a drunked...He placed her down the bed and went to get the first aid box.Madhu was lost in her thoughts about the dream...Her heart had started beating faster when she was near Rk.Her heart said something and her mind another...Uff it was too confusing...
She watched as Rk came and sat down and began to nurse her wounds.She watched him as she dabbed some ointment on the cuts and band aiding it...She was however unable to deny the shiver she felt when he touched her.The silence was too thick and Rk finally decided to break the ice...
Rk-"Woh...I am sorry,I put you through so much without knowing that you were only trying to help me...Waise it is very differet you know..."
Madhu looked at him questioningly.
Rk-"It is the hero who saves the heroine but It is opposite here...
M-"I am not a heroine..."She said in a very composed way..
M-"Wise there is nothing filmy here I am just doing my duty"...
Rk-"Hmmm..."
Madhu felt the silence surrounding them again.
Rk-"You did not answer me .."
M-"regarding what?"
Rk-"Forgiving me..."
M-"There is nothing to be angry about ,I would have done the same had I been in your place...waise we dont relate...apno se naraz hote hainand I dont want another person caring for me..."
The words stabbed Rk in his heart but being an actor he masked it well.
Rk-"Why do you say that?"
M-"Rk my life is not what you think ...I am comitted to the country...Death is very much inevitable but in our cases we carry it in our pockets...No matter how much we serve the country, we are never recognized"...She took out a revolver from under her pillow and showed him..."This is my most loyal companion"...
Rk-"What you said now does not answer the question i asked"
M-"Can we be friends Rk?" She extended her hands towards him and continued"You need to promise me that you will be your true self with me"
Rk-"That's easy"
M-"No i think it is the toughest ,you know many people including me hide our trueselves fearing other's opinion"
Rk thought for a minute and extended his hand
Rk-"Hi I am Rishab Kundra..."
m-"i am madhubala rathode...nope malik..."
Rk-'Ek minute Rathode ya malik?"
madhu-"It is Malik"
Rk"Aur Rathode? Does your husband's name end with a rathode?"
Madhu playfully swatted his hands and said "it is my official name in certificates and is done for security reasons which cannot be revailed"
M-"Can we go out for a walk now?"
Rk-"Madhu it is 12 at night...Where do you want to go?"
m-"Come will you dont be a spoilt sport mr.Kundra..."
Rk-"Call me Rishab will you"
Rk felt lighter after a very long time .madhu was totally opposite of what any police would be .She was talkative,crazy, totally mad and full of life.He felt himself being dragged and he watched as Madhu dragged him to an Ice cream vechile...
Rk-"Madhu What are you doing?"
M-"Rishab i want an Ice cream Please i will pay you once we go home... Please...;'
Rk wanted to pull her cheeks ,she was an adorable baby... He got her an ice cream... and they were about to walk when she asked-"Rishab what about you?"
Rk-"What about me?"
M-"Dont you want ice cream? Dont think i will give you mine at any cost ok?"
Rk-"Nope I dont want If i catch a cold it will ruin my schedulde"
M-"You live for yourself right then why dont you do what you want?"
Rk-"You know what you should be a saint"
M-'What"
Rk-"You talk too much of philosphy"...He covered his ears as he spoke.
M-"Thats it ," she started to punch Rk and he began to defend himself...Rk began to run and soon they were playing like little kids in the middle of the road.
Rk mansion
Radha and others were sitting worriedly .There was no trace of madhu and rk for the past 3 hours.Bittuji was debating wether to call the police or not.Deepali looked displeased. When finally Bittuji took the phone to make the call rk came in running with Madhu following him in a very hot pursuit.
Looking at the crowd Rk finally stopped and began to take deep breaths.His eyes locked with Madhu and as they did they began to laugh madly...
Radha looked away to wipe her eyes .She felt blessed to see her rishu laughing so freely after a long time while Bittuji was feeling literally dizzy seeing his chief like this... he decide to call a doctor for medical assistance.
