It took the police days, if not weeks, to find the locket, attesting to how thorough the hospital were with their cleaning and the police in finding immediate clues. But today, the forensic lab, mind you not ballistics, came back immediately in a matter of a few hours (apparently, they also work around the clock in the middle of the night in India) to match the gun with the bullet.
Wow, Indian police definitely have priorities set right. Work around the clock to get a ballistic match, but take a lot longer to search a hospital room.
