Yeah, I live in London, just two hours away from Toronto. It's extremely windy here, supposed to be going up to over 100km/h overnight. Hope everyone in Canada is prepared as well. Hope everyone that was hit by the storm is safe and sound. RIP to all the individuals who passed due to nature's hurricane attack.

@Priit : Ya I've gone through two hurricanes...Ike and Katrina and we didn't have power or any essentials for more than a week...it was really scary :(

I just hope that everyone thats gone through or will go through Sandy is safe...whatever they are showing on the news is really scary...I live in Houston which is further south on the eastern coast...so we are not in the range of Sandy but my aunt and many cousins are upstate in NY who are stuck in the storm...hope they are fine...

Wow really? This is the first time I'm experiencing this. I live more inwards in Canada so we don't get many storms, but the size of this storm is huge, so it's approaching us. It's already so windy, I had to walk to my car after work and almost got blown away with the wind...

I hope your family is okay in NY.

Yea this one is really huge but its good that its only Category 1 so far...the ones we had were like category 4 and 5 which were horrendous...with +150 mph winds and stuff...They are saying that by tomorrow it will reduce to a tropical storm...

Aww thanks...Yea we just heard from them...they are safe and they have power which is incredible bcz NY is devastated right now...

Edit: Just read that Atlantic City is under water
