Big Big Big Hug for Madhuš¤ She seems so vulnerable these days'especially when it comes to her place in RK's life. She needs assurance that she belongs with RK from anyone who can give her that. Be it her Mother, Mother in law, Bittu or the doctor. It is completely understandable because her emotions at this stage are very new yet very strong. Her relationship with RK hasn't been a journey of gradual discovery, friendship and ultimately love'it has always been high voltage emotions.
Madhu went on a guilt trip (courtesy Dipali) for being the reason RK stepped out of the house and got shot. It was left to her to mother to console her saying RK's life may have been in danger but in bargain his faith in the almighty has been restored and that is much more valuable to him. Madhu let the guilt go... but held on to another uncertainty. Why did she for moment feel that her life can to a standstill when RK was shot at? Why did her heart arrest on hearing that RK's heart had stopped beating? She felt guilty of betraying her familyby feeling for RK. I loved Padmini for completely understanding her daughter's state of mind and the depth of her emotions yet refrained from throwing heavy duty words like 'Love', 'Soulmate' 'Sindoor' at Madhuš. She instead said Madhu cares because RK is a good being and Madhu is the first one to understand that. She reminded Madhu that RK has returned Malik to them. There she was relieved and pretty proud at RK being acknowledged as a good person. She cares two hoots for his stardom and the adulation he enjoys as 'Superstar RK' what really mattered to her was RK being called a good human. It is only right for Madhu to realise that she is in love with RK... No one else is going to help her with thatš.
Another similar moment was when she told RK he would have done the same for her. She didn't actually tell him, she asked him. She has been telling everyone that she didn't do favour for RK because he would have done the same for her. Now she wanted him to say that he would do the same for her. There was a plead for an answer, a sense of vulnerability in the manner she asked him 'hain na?' The girl would have been heartbroken even if he had wasted a moment to ponder on her question. His silence gave her the comfort that she was right... he there for herš³.
Coming other aspects of the episode:
Am I the only one who gets annoyed with Radha's character? I frankly don't seem to connect with her as RK's mom. As brutal as it may sound, she doesn't seem to connect with RK.. no wonder he calls her 'janam deni wali aurat'.
Coming to RKgiri, It was entertaining.. though he pushed it a bit too far. He knew it the moment his mom refused to name the person who gave him blood... he just knew it. Dipali deserved to be humiliated in the manner that she wasš. He could have dealt with Dipali alone, but he insisted Madhu to be there because she needed to know the intentions of this lady. Loved Madhu's relaxed contour once she realised what RK is upto and she waited patiently for the finale almost guilty for enjoying Dipali's predicament.š
Though it was a part of his dramatics, a stupid romantic in me wants to believe his dialogues were meant for the one who gave him blood... because he was looking at her when he said those lines. Now that he said it... it is their blood that pumps his heart(never mind medical part of itš).It won't be long before his cold heart is warm again.
