They don't need to spoil one of the most liked and respected characters of the show to show Rk as a lesser bad guy! :S

Rk can and has started to redeem himself on his own... Let the story take that direction only.

Just can't digest Mallik attacking Rk from behind 😵 Still, he did have the biggest motive to shoot Rk - freeing Madhu from her marriage to the supposed beast... you can't fault him if he did do so in a fit of anger.

I don't want him to be the shooter either. I remember the scene where RK brings Madhu back to her chawl to celebrate the rest of the festivities, Malik wasn't talking to him in a way that would translate to "I'm going to Murder you." It actually seemed he was giving him some fatherly advice. Plus he's still pretty injured, if I remember correctly wasn't he wearing a cast plus using crutches? It would be a disappointment for me if they showed him as the shooter. What father-figure would be left in the show shown as a positive influence then? Malik right now is the only one.

Agree with you. A good personality cannot stoop so low to kill or take away life. Does not go with Malik. The last words from him to RK was "Beta chahe kitna bada par Baap tho Baap hotha hai". He is like Baap figure to RK and he will do all what a Baap does to beta. he wants to free Madhu but he will pick the option to pay with dignity. I am sure Cv's will not spoil this good character they created.

Plus He will not make anything that will hurt her lovely daughter Madhu... He knows Madhu how she is?

Malik would never make his daughter a "widow", yeah it's not a full marriage but still.
