Madhu's promise was to give Radhaji back her son and her prayers to Ganpati bappa was to have RK trust in god and also to return a son back to his mother. So perhaps what you say him acknowledging his mother would be what happens, but I actually thought the doctors will shoo everyone out of the room and RK will hold on to Madhu's hand to keep her with him and the all will leave happy with tears, and Madhu and RK will have a bit of staring and romantic moment with eyelocks.
