Could the reason for RK sending away Madhu be that he finds out Dipali was the one behind all this and that the target was Madhu so RK sends her away so that she does not get harmed...

Ok i know this is just one of my hare-brained idea but couldn't prevent myself from posting it!!😃

And i couldn't help but grin when Bittuji was screaming that what do you mean by his heart has stopped functioning and Mads runs into the OT😃

@Leelaa - I read your analysis earlier after I got back home and I have to say it was brilliant.

I was thinking about what you said about Malik and his anger since then, thank you for bringing that up. How would Madhu be able to reconcile this man that she's looked up to, he's her father in all the ways that count, with a man that tried to kill her husband? Would they go there? I mean regardless of her feelings and what we may want to make of her actions towards RK, she clearly cares for Rishabh and to find out that the most important man in her life tried to kill her husband, the man that's responsible for saving him. It would definitely open up the door as far as story and all the places this could go from here, amazing material for DD to work with most definitely.

I can't help but wonder if they would go here to be able to open up the possibility of allowing Madhu to love RK. What I mean is, a lot of people talked in the past about how they couldn't understand how Madhu would be able to fall in love with RK after everything he's done. Well here's a man she's discovering so many layers to, he's obviously more than the superstar he shows the world, and something has been kindled but for it to be allowed to develop into the epic love story this is shaping up to be she would need to completely forgive him for everything he has done. This in contrast to her dealing with the fact that her "father" tried to kill her husband. I don't know if I'm making sense here as it makes sense in my head but I find now I'm having trouble putting it into words. Basically it's setting up this journey of forgiveness. I mean some of the things that RK has done can be said to be unforgivable but at the same time he's done so many wonderful things too. Malik is so important to Madhu that she entered into a marriage that at the time was equivalent to her giving up her life, this man has tried to kill her husband, is that any less unforgivable?

I hope that's made some sense.

Great theory Zoya. I'm definitely interested to see how this separation story goes and what exactly is the reasoning behind it.

If it is like some people speculated before that RK thinks that Malik tried to kill him, I can't believe that he would punish Madhu for this especially everything that has happened between them.

Thats what I am saying about your post...

Madhu - the devout girl who thought RK was unreasonable to turn away from God after his father's death, and told him there must surely be some good even in that tragedy - today pretty much promised God that *she* would lose faith if He let RK die.

I didnt like that part, ok? Thats not how one should ask anything from God.. That was the only part in this episode that I didnt like
When RK's faith was restored, he received an unusual parting gift from his long-estranged friend Ganpati Bappa - Madhu's slow journey on the path to placing this man she's wedded to above God and every relationship in her life.
This is a girl who has never asked the Lord for anything, and just accepted that He would show her a way in every difficulty. However hurtful the path she found, she never asked for an easier way. She asked the Lord for strength always, and counted on her faith to make that strength enough.
But today, she finally crossed that Rubicon - for a man she has fought and yet become bonded to on a level that goes beyond coherence and thought, reason and logic.

until I reached this part.. 😃 I was feeling bad about that part bcos, when I made my post today, I hadnt watched the episode.. If I had watched that I would not have made my Faith post, bcos I didnt like the way Madhu bargained for RK's life.. Thank you for explaining this part.. I liked your analysis.. I now understand why, but I still dont like it! 😔 Anyway, I will console myself saying that Madhu was not merely asking for RK's life, but asking for her husband's life. For me that makes it ok.. Does that make me sound weird?
Today, she held onto her faith at her unbreathing husband's side - because if the Lord failed her, if He ignored what she had threatened and promised, she would lose both Him and her husband.
She would lose RK to his friend Bappa, and she herself would lose her faith in Him to the void of hurt of knowing the Lord she trusted absolutely had failed her when it mattered most.
What she had considered unreasonable in RK and made excuses to Bappa for, she had not the slightest qualm or hesitation in taking up the same approach.
How strange are the Lord's ways that in seeking to assuage the hurt of one beloved devotee and win him back, He was willing to watch another beloved devotee deprioritize Him in that other's favour.😊

@bold: Wow.. I love this line.. This is for this line alone: 👏 Lord works in mysterious ways.. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Today she faced off against the very Lord she has trusted no matter what until now - for a man she acknowledges only duty and commitment to, but feels for on the most inherent primal plane. And so too, she may someday have to face off against the mortals she adores and choose that man over them all, however much it may agonize her.

The day she does that, RK is hers alone!
She may hesitate and dither with mortals as she did not with Him. She may even perhaps choose them briefly. But will the Lord who has gone to such lengths to unite his two beloved devotees permit such qualms to weigh with her when push comes to shove? Really don't think so.

😃

Mallick is hot-tempered and dotes on his daughter. He landed in the hospital after trying to physically harm RK, in the process humiliating Bittuji by almost pulling his trousers off, and smashing sundry other people around.

When did that happen? I missed seeing the colour of his underpants!!! 😆

Bittuji's rage at the man was quite understandable for both the personal humiliation and the attempt to harm his 'Chief'. He overreacted much as Mallick had, and made physical violence a stick with which to beat the one who brought it in.
But would Mallick have been more restrained if he had free hand to harm RK? Would he not then have stopped short at the same point - just a little shy of killing?

That day he was understandably furious. But Malik as shooter... 🤔
And so, if the shooter Kukku hired to fake underworld connections did *not* shoot RK, why would it be unreasonable of RK to believe Shamsher is capable of such an action?
Shamsher's character is inclined to striking openly.

True... But it was not an open attack.. Granted it took place out in the open, but the shooter was hidden... During the other incident, Malik had openly challenged RK, came out to fight infront of everybody.. Everybody saw him.. Here no one saw the shooter.. Malik goes for open confrontations...

But would not a father believing his daughter to be enduring hyperbolic torture in a 'living hell' not be willing to set aside a lifetime's principles of courage and striking from the front to rather do whatever it takes to free her at the soonest from the 'nightmare' she was in?
I truly do not consider it to the detriment of Mallick's character as a righteous person, no matter whether he did shoot RK or not. Either option upholds a virtue. Either courage and integrity, or paternal protectiveness willing even to be murderous.

I refuse to believe that Malik is the shooter.. 😭 I like him!!! 😔

Also, there is RK - with a father who apparently took a coward's approach and killed himself, abandoning his wife and son to face the music, and a mother who believes her son to be at fault in every matter rather than admit even to herself that she erred grievously in the person she chose as her second husband and a father for Rishabh.
Will RK not to some extent understand the impulse driving a father who is proactively protective as Mohan Kundra apparently was not?
He already has reason to understand that Madhu's mother Padmini - RK's own saasuma - is nothing like his own mother Radha, though he does not yet wish to acknowledge this, perhaps for fear of examining yet another in his formidable repertoire of emotional hurts.

👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼

Today, in the scenes that overtly showcased faith, I saw yet another aspect of faith - that of Goddess Kali the Destroyer, whose rage once ignited could be stopped in its tracks only by her absolute love for her husband and her regard for him. Today, for a husband she does not love and yet could not countenance the thought of losing to the Lord they both adore, she was willing to turn away from that Lord if her first ever plea/demand were not met.

I did not understand the Kali reference...😳 She was angry, but she was angry with RK.. 😕

What of when she does love Rishabh? What lines will she not be willing to cross then?

I know what lines she will cross 😃- she will throw away the pillows that divides their bed every night.. 😆

Rishabh is becoming more caring, more protective, more gentle for her, but I doubt that she will ever cease to be his berserk button. And when he too becomes *her* berserk button, when she stands in his defence and support for all, what a formidable pairing they will make, capable of being buffetted only by each other and yet holding fast no matter what.

Wow.. What picture you present!!! Three cheers!!!
To see what misunderstandings may develop and where his ego may fail when he raises her up to stardom is going to be magnificent with such a love as the canvas on which the vision of ishq and junoon will emerge.

Me dying to watch that...

Brilliant brilliant brilliant post.. The best post I read today!!! 👏 👏 👏

From Tanu's update.
Two option. ...Mouli -re-tying ...Madhu puts the flower in RK's hand and puts tilak on his forehead and chants Bappa Moriya
🤣 🤣

Rads had to defend Madhu coz if she would have agreed to Dipali's claims, then it is akin to she agreeing that she is equally at fault as well... And Rads would never agree at any point of time that she was at fault.. That is exactly her problem! She knows she is at fault but she lacks the courage to face it and correct things so she finds the easy way out and go the abla-naari way!!!

She knows her remarriage was a big mistake but she did nothing to make it better for RK at any point of time... When RK spews venom on her, she shows to the entire world as if she is a helpless bechari who endures all the atrocities!!! If she was made of sterner stuff and really thinks what she did is not wrong, she would have stood upto RK and admonished him...

At this point of time, we do not know the circumstances under which she agreed to marry Bhatia but as of now, i would regard her as a spineless creature...

Coming to the hilarous part, did you really find the mouli re-tying scene funny? I liked the two-option thing too.. DD was too good in that!!!

If they are going to go that way though I highly doubt it, it would be interesting to see Madhu's dilemma regarding the two important men in her life...

Personally I would like malik to be a man of good virtue... And despite all the anger, do you think that Malik would ignore the fact that it is b'coz of RK that he is standing on his two legs...

When he entered the studio to rebel against RK, he was in a fit of rage!!! But now he has had a lot of time to think things through... He would surely like to free MAdhu from RK's clutches but i think he would go the non-violent way...

Watched the episode.

OMG!!!!
The way Radhaji was crying, bilakh bilakh ke royeen, Ek baar mere bacche mujhe dekh, I had my eyes full of tears. Was it Shama Deshpande's acting or a mother's pain at losing her son.

I usually find the dramatic very hilarious even in the most serious moments of life...I don't know why..like me the 10 year old girl almost wondering and slightly smiling when my father was crying at his mother's death, I don't know why I find the dramatics funny...and then in same token, I feel the seriousness in my heart...and when it becomes overwhelming, I start crying.
Gods sake !! this was MEIEJ; a drama with that man with a beautiful body with jelly rubbed on his left side...that was enough to make it funny, but then it was not funny by the time Drashti Dhami started pleading her husband to wake up. That was poignant. Shama added to that already overwhelming moment though her act...and that's it; I was literally pushed into the characters there making everything real for me.
👏 👏 Drashti Dhami and shama deshande

The episode started with Madhu's negotiation with Ganapati. Give me back RK's life in return for all these years devotion to you. And why that negotiation? She says, "Rishabh ke andar maine apka ka vishwaas jagaya diya hai. Lekin ab mere andar ka vishwaas na bujh jaaye, woh aapki zimmedari hai."

What happened just before the Lekin ? Madhu was seeing RIshabh dancing away in trance, She had seen that Rishabh had gained faith and before she could even have a full look into his eyes, and before she could even express her delighted joy to him, "see I told you, that Bappa will restore your peace", Rishabh took a mortal wound and was about to die. She had so much to talk to her adversary and she never got the chance. So she argues before her Bappa, "Aapko ye saabit karna hoga ki main sahi thee aur woh aapko pathar kehne waala galat tha"

And because, somewhere down this time Madhu had immersed her hesitation to accept how she is bound to RK, she becomes desperate and as his Dharam-patni seeks justice for her husband. She demands God in very matter of principle manner, "Ek baar aap dhoka de chuke hain, ab nahin, ab apne dost ka vishwaas bachaane ka waqt aa gaya hai"

It was beautiful, negotiation loaded with argument and stressing of principle.

Then within the hospital, when doctors give up, I loved how Madhu again slowly starts from periphery and finally calls out to RK to wake up if she means anything to him. She starts with asking him to wake up for himself, his might, his stubborness, his attitude, for his responsibility as the superstar towards his work, his fans, for everything that the man stood for and was known as to the world. He doesn't wake up. She then tries to invoke his latent feelings for his mother, that doesn't serve the purpose. Then she just tries to bait him, don't you want to play with your favourite toy, your Biwi. "Tumhe mujhe Biwi bulaake , dhauns jamaane ka dil nahin kar raha ?"
She almost breaks down here. A thing that used to vex her when he was alive, suddenly seems the only thing they ever shared with each other. The tease and vex. And now she decides to tease him and vex him. You have only two options...Wake up or wake up...poor girl, she almost broke down there.
But why the breakdown ...because of disbelief that the RK who was such a formidable person was being written-off. How was that possible in any manner. How can one believe that. So what does she do. Start chanting her God!! Let him take care...

Beautiful.

Other things that stood out.
Bittuji - Just as much Madhu understood RK, he too knows his chief that well. Like Madhu cannot believe that RK can die, so Bittuji cannot believe it.

Radhaji - She redeemed herself twice today. 1) when she defended Madhu before Dipzy's ****
2) When she finally shirked her complaisance in being told without the option to question. She just got up in rage and went to the OT room ready to ask, how can her son die. Finally, this woman found courage and asked something for her and her son which looked good in every angle.

Padmini - For the first time I loved this woman. No doubt she is a beautiful woman. She was equally in pain for a man who doesn't much respect her, she was being empathetic to a peer person; Radhaji who was inconsolably broken and she was just with her daughter. Totally self-less, An ethereal spirit. No wonder, she still remains married to Ballu. She has lot to give and nothing to want.

Siddhi-Vinayaka - How beautiful he looked in that orange color and that trunk swaying to the right. Its the direction of his drunk that makes him Siddhi Vinayaka. What is Siddhi ? It is attainment. I went to visit him, offer my prayer to him once when I was in Mumbai. I had gone there for my job interview at CCIL for which I had been trying for sometime. Interview went extremely well. I was prepared and I asked my local guardian to take me to the temple. And he did. That night I took my return train to Hyd. Later I did get the job.

Leela ,

You described Madhu as crossing that Rubicon...

>>>>>>
But today, she finally crossed that Rubicon - for a man she has fought and yet become bonded to on a level that goes beyond coherence and thought, reason and logic.😳
And this is only the first time she will face such a Rubicon.
'Tvameva matacha pita tvameva...' The prayer which states that the Lord is mother and father, sibling and friend. True indeed. Who but the one who is all relations would be willing to place His devotees' wellbeing so highly.
Today, what mattered more than the miracle of Rishabh being restored to life - more even than Rishabh acknowledging openly the faith he has never truly given up on, and setting aside his grudge against his divine friend - was Madhu taking that first major step away from the simple devout girl she has always been.
A girl who was straightforward, naively idealistic, and for whom her mother and foster father mattered immensely.Today she faced off against the very Lord she has trusted no matter what until now - for a man she acknowledges only duty and commitment to, but feels for on the most inherent primal plane.
>>>>>>

Absolutely true. Very beautifully expressed commentary on what was transpiring between God and Madhu with regards to that one person they both care for. If Madhu vowed to return Rishabh to Ganesha and she kept her word, and when Ganesha seemed to take him away with him, Madhu had to ask the same Ganesha to return him back to her as she had vowed to return Rishabh to his mother and she has to keep that word as well. In all of this, she just crossed the rubicon because who was she to vow in the first place ? and if she was getting what she wanted, then she had to lose something as well. Now that's God's casino for you. One loses to him more than what one seems to win. Madhu lost herself to God's game. She unwittingly committed herself to become the wife of the man she never could have thought of doing it in her sanest imagination.

But seriously why did this girl decide in that unthinking manner to give two commitments to two persons, one a mother and other the God ? And what was the subject of commitment ? RK ? Was RK even hers to begin with and to make those kind of promises ? Wasn't she like playing in a Casino ? Did she even know what was at stake ?

She realizes the incredulity of her promise once she realizes that she won the game, once she sees "the RK" that she had known all this time and who is now almost transformed to a person whom she does not know anymore, but has an idea that he must be the most adorable person as God used to love him as the person shared a special bond with him. He was there right before her, but he did not acknowledge her presence at the procession nor here in the hospital, he is just a dying man, not the man that she used to know him as.

One needs imagination to have a vision and a little courage to enterprise and a little perseverance to make it a reality. That's what Madhu ventured on.

However, this tempts me to ask, why would Madhu fixate on this imagination of hers ?

Then my answer is Why did RK fixate on Madhu ? With his twisted imagination to break her ?

They both want to break the persons that they know each to be.

Now the break is complete.
Madhu broke RK ..
RK broke Madhu
Visarjan Sampann

And so let's begin the next level ...New Creations
RIshabh Kundra - so far always been a point of view peep through Radhaji and occasional let-ins from RK. We don't who actually he is. How does he function ?
Madhubala Kundra - She is the new bride now who had until this point played wife under forced circumstances. We now have to see what are the aspirations of this new wife.

Preet,

In Madhu's case ...to fall in love with RK was not possible, unless there was transformation in RK that Madhu can feel something about it. That has happened already.

Now therefore, it is not necessary that Shamsher should become the bad person so that Madhu can forgive RK.

If one redeems onself, he gains forgiveness automatically. Someone else becoming bad in contrast doesn't atone his sins. Hence Shammu's bad deeds will not redeem RK. It will be RK's good deeds that will redeem himself in Madhu's eyes and win her love.
