And what U are looking for female lead's dialogue delivery i don't think U will get from here in this show. Because now DD's dialogue is perfect and there is no need for any change and imitate other female leads. She has her own unique way of delivering her dialogues, which makes her unique and not every other female lead in TV.

I disagree with DD's last week dialogues. It was bang on each and every dialogue, expression and obviously not everyone has to yell or shout to make it a point.

About DD's voice, it is her natural voice, I don't understand how she can change that. I love her voice.

I noticed something that she didn't win awards so I raised a question, which I have the right to, as long as we discuss it in a civilised and clean way.

The tone of voice I'm talking about is not shouting, look for example Giaa Manek she never shouted and yet she managed to deliver dialogues with so much feeling in her tone of voice, if she was going through pain it was evident in her voice, if she was happy it was evident, she just had a unique penetrating voice, I've pointed out her as a good example because she never shouted but the voice reached through the screen to touch us the viewers, when she was crying we felt that.

DD's voice only at one level, but as I've said it's just my opinion at this present moment, eventually I will like her, my friend was telling me she didn't like Rani Mukherjee first film but eventually she accepted her as a good actress, similarly the same will happen here with me, it's the first serial I'm watching her, I will accept her.

I like the serial, sparky dialogues, my favourite character is RK, and RK's Biwi will definitely grow on me and I will like her also. Don't tell me not do so, because it's my choice what I do, to watch the show, and come here to discuss it, you don't have the right to tell people not to watch or come here and never criticise anything.

That is my last word on the matter.

I'm sorry TM...I agree with you abt Shakshi and Shweta Tiwari being great actresses but Gopi bahu is really hard to digest. No offence...I have only seen a couple of episodes and all her dialogue delivery seemed the same to me.

But to each his own...

I think Drashti's work has always been fabulous and appreciated by a large number of fans - even in the U, Me & Tv segment, this week, she was the chosen actor amongst others by fans... (so what if the awards don't go to her)

Awards are given to best actors.. if it has to be a better person chosen by the jury's perception, so be it! Plus, it's subjective/perception.. there are some who find an actor less than perfect and for others, she is the best entertainer.

On the issue of voice, I'd like to share something - Rani Mukherjee's voice is husky. When she started doing films, the directors & producers thought that it wasn't suitable for Bollywood and had to dub it. In later films, they used her own voice... I wanted to watch Rani's first film and looked it up... Just could not watch more than 10 or 15 mins of the film, because her voice was dubbed; could not appreciate it at all. I think, Drashti's voice is like that too. I love her voice & dialogue delivery... it leaves an impact without any need of shouting too.

Indeed, you're entitled not to like the acting of DD :D Your choice...

There are loads who love the way she acts and appreciate her work. No issue!😃

This is the problem with that particular serial, it was popular with married women (parents mostly) the older generation, and our generation and younger only watched a few episodes, I watched them all, that's why I put her in that category, I would like you to watch the serial from the beginning until the time Giaa Manek was replaced for you to fully understand what I'm saying, perhaps you would see what I saw. But I know it's many episodes, you won't do it, but if you can, I promise you won't be disappointed. 😊 truly.

Where did Shahi ask you not to watch the show? We must have been reading the wrong reply :s... Do kindly read comments fully before jumping to conclusions next time please, we have enough of fights on this forum :(-
And she also didnt state u cannot criticise, she kindly put her POV forward, and was having a clean discussion. I just felt the need to point those two points out, before people create another war on the basis of an assumption.
Have fun discussing am off!
And i totally disagree with everything you've stated on ur fav *no offence* hence am not going to take offence to your criticising DD in anyway, its a free world, *freedom of expression* is one of our fundamental human rights, hence keep discussing freely😆

but her role and dialogues are till now not very good
once her role in the serial is good maybe then we can see some house powerfull acting from her also
its not DD but her role as MB which is yet to evolve

Truthfully whatever I've seen is enough bcz I can't stand saas-bahu dramas...

Saas bahu serials are very popular, you know when I was picking my next show I had like a list of requirements must be saas bahu serial, reluctant guy handsome but, and girl must be pretty, I was looking for my next serial from Saath Nibhana Saathiya, now that show has a lot of saas bahu drama and also it has a lot of evil deeds one sister on the other sister, and the lead actress for 2.5 years won a lot of awards though she was an obedient bahu and cried a lot in the serial. I was happy for her though she was not a strong character show won over people with being good at everything, in fact she was a jack of all trades despite being illiterate, in this MEIEJ show though I was recommended it by my friend, initially it only ticked having a handsome guy and pretty girl, and I loved the battle of wills going on. But as saas bahu typical I couldn't see it, but RK loves calling Padmini saasuma, also I love it when RK and Padmini are on screen as you have this badtameez damad, and sparky saas conversations, so saas bahu with twist 😛 I find they interactions enjoyable, then Deepali came along (to be doing evil deeds to madhu) and madhu was proving to be a jack of all trades in the kitchen, so then I saw my saas bahu drama, also isn't Madhu obedient to Radhaji (obedient bahu is there also) so the serial is ticking the boxes. So MEIEJ is now a saas bahu serial also, I think CV's have gone this route to get the TRP's, I hope it works for the show, as it's a good show.

@TM: Lols you have got to be kidding me...MB is definitely not a Saas-Bahu serial...that week they had those episodes bcz VD was on a leave...For me saas-bahu serials are like SNS, Yeh Rishta, Diya aur Bati, etc...

TRPs were increasing even without the saas-bahu drama for the last couple of weeks and if you notice the trps dropped to 2.5 BCZ of the saas-bahu drama they showed...

And yes Saas-Bahu serials may be popular among trp aunties in india but most international audiences like me who are around late teens and early 20's prefer youth shows.

But yes if you like it and think it's a saas-bahu show then good for you 😃

Anyways I'm outta here now...
