This is rude, everyone has a right to come to this MB forum and give an opinion, and she gave it cleanly, please don't personally attack her for doing so.

Jules I'm also surprised with what she had written . here.

how other better actresses would do. Sakshi Tanwar, even Giaa Manek when they deliver dialogue when something dramatic is taking place, you the audience feel what is happening on screen with the actress, why that is happening is the actors expressions yes are on point, but their tone has translated the feeling over to us,

Of course Sakshi has lot of powerful dialogues in her show, but can't say any powerful dialogue was there for other actress TM mentioned because her role is a timid bahu who always keep quiet in her show. So I was surprised and confused what she is looking for in this show.

Sakshi Tanwar, even Giaa Manek when they deliver dialogue when something dramatic is taking place, you the audience feel what is happening on screen with the actress, why that is happening is the actors expressions yes are on point, but their tone has translated the feeling over to us, with DD she hasn't managed this, I know if I carry on watching as it's a good show, eventually I will accept her, and I was upset last week when I wrote this because DD had some good dialogues and didn't manage to deliver them convincingly, so yes she is an immature actress.

She's very popular, she's beautiful, expressive eyes and body language is good, but the voice, the tone, is not transferring the drama happening. But I think many will not be mature enough to accept this, however I'm no longer upset now, as RK is awakening and I will allow time for DD to grow on me.

Besides if I like Katrina Kaif movies, I watched Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and admitted to my friend at the time oh my god, her trying to act like she is stammering was torture (not believable), but I still like her, she is growing still as an actress, but she is winning awards because of networking, having fame in modelling and dating famous actors like Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, also she is pretty, a good dancer, so she has her looks and style to offer in a movie, she has become popular.

DD has a really good smile, expressions are good, only she needs to learn how to get her voice to different levels, and maybe I won't mind too much after watching her some more (she will grow on me).

I agree to disagree with you...according to me her voice modulation is good...
and i dont think that getting an award or not will change a fact that she is a good actor...

There are many such actors. Good examples of versatile are Swetha tiwari, Sakshi Tanwar, Aakanksha Singh, (Balika Vadhu actor name i dont know whats her real name is)

@Bold: You yourself have pointed out at least three types of expressions she can do...and notice the at least...Obviously she's not limited to only these three types of expressions...she can do all scenes perfectly...be it romance, comedy, bubbly, shy, independent, sad, emotional..etc...

And why waste time commenting on actors you find immature...

And yes bcz she's an immature actress fans loved her in DMG and then in Geet and now in MB.
And yes bcz she's an immature actress Saurabh Tiwari chose her for this show (which is probably color's most ambitious project till date)

Sakshi i completely agree with! I love that lady's acting. BUT @ pink really TM? I can bet my life on the fact that Gopi was a docile bahu who never even uttered as much of a shout in that show😆 I didnt find any effectiveness in her dialogue dilevery either :s.. but i guess its TM 's interpretation of something that never occured vs an actual fact.*or something of that nature😆*

All i can say is, awards do not describe an actor. There are many amazing actors out there who never get an award or dont even get nominated to begin with; but that doesn't mean that they aren't good at their job. From what i seen drashti keeps improving everyday and she will get definitely get an award in future!

Now I finally understand why you don't like DD's acting, after knowing what kind of shouting you want female leads to do in every scene. To make it powerful you need them to yell. And what U are looking for female lead's dialogue delivery i don't think U will get from here in this show. Because now DD's dialogue is perfect and there is no need for any change and imitate other female leads. She has her own unique way of delivering her dialogues, which makes her unique and not every other female lead in TV.

I disagree with DD's last week dialogues. It was bang on each and every dialogue, expression and obviously not everyone has to yell or shout to make it a point.

About DD's voice, it is her natural voice, I don't understand how she can change that. I love her voice.

I noticed something that she didn't win awards so I raised a question, which I have the right to, as long as we discuss it in a civilised and clean way.

The tone of voice I'm talking about is not shouting, look for example Giaa Manek she never shouted and yet she managed to deliver dialogues with so much feeling in her tone of voice, if she was going through pain it was evident in her voice, if she was happy it was evident, she just had a unique penetrating voice, I've pointed out her as a good example because she never shouted but the voice reached through the screen to touch us the viewers, when she was crying we felt that.

DD's voice only at one level, but as I've said it's just my opinion at this present moment, eventually I will like her, my friend was telling me she didn't like Rani Mukherjee first film but eventually she accepted her as a good actress, similarly the same will happen here with me, it's the first serial I'm watching her, I will accept her.

I like the serial, sparky dialogues, my favourite character is RK, and RK's Biwi will definitely grow on me and I will like her also. Don't tell me not do so, because it's my choice what I do, to watch the show, and come here to discuss it, you don't have the right to tell people not to watch or come here and never criticise anything.

That is my last word on the matter.
