Drashti's too good for awards. Everyone knows she deserves more than a simple award, that's why they don't nominate her. They're waiting for something special to give her! 😆

tm one advice for u watch dd previous show geet or dmg u can get ur ans. In geet u definitely relate with her character u talking abt voice level when geet cries we cries we feel the sadness in her voice. when geet is happy or in masti mood we feel the happiness joy that naughtiness and the innocense of geet m sure no body can beat that whether it is gia manek or any other actress and at the same time geet is strong lady too who fights against the whole world to save her baby my mum is a big fan of geet becoz she can relate wid her m 100% sure if geet airs on starplus than every woman of india can relate wid her n she is far better than ur gopi bahu honestly n about mb than mb has way to go mb needs time for sure..

I haven't read thru the entire thread but i read one post saying she doesn't shout during emotional scenes or something like that..🤔 Err I infact like that about Drashti's performance in emotional scenes. Her acting is very restrained and subtle. The way she uses her eyes and modulates her voice makes a better impact IMO. I have never been a fan of OTT melodramatic acting anyway.

Regarding awards...well an award does not equate to an actor being good or better that the other. Many such TV actors have received awards who frankly did not deserve it. Same goes for TRPs...high TRP does not mean a particular show is good. I would rather watch a show with low TRP but which I find entertaining than some drama which gets good TRPs but gives me a headache...😆

I like DD. Liking doesnt mean you accept whatever and however they are. I am big fan of DD. But i dont like her acting. She has to improve a lot to stand for any awards. I prefer expressing my views honestly.

Every actors get their share of award through love of fans.

Drashti has many fans so she must be very happy for this.

Awards are mohar but fans love is achievement.

I agree with you DD is all beautiful, expressive eyes, But, if you really watch her out. she has very bad body language. She miserably flops here. and her second drawback is what you have already pointed out correctly, she doesnt deliver convincingly. Thats the problem.

Besides if I like Katrina Kaif movies, I watched Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and admitted to my friend at the time oh my god, her trying to act like she is stammering was torture (not believable), but I still like her, she is growing still as an actress, but she is winning awards because of networking, having fame in modelling and dating famous actors like Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, also she is pretty, a good dancer, so she has her looks and style to offer in a movie, she has become popular.

Except for Kareena Kapoor, No good actor female in bollywood now. Only show pieces.

DD has a really good smile, expressions are good, only she needs to learn how to get her voice to different levels, and maybe I won't mind too much after watching her some more (she will grow on me).

* on my previous posts, I meant her voice and dialogue delivery is effective enough to do justice to whatever scenes she has been given (as per me).

Still, I hope her character has more to deliver than the traditional bahu.
