Talented actor Raj Zutshi who is well known for his movies Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Maachis, Shiva among many others is patiently waiting for his over-the-top evil character of Balraj Choudhary to make a comeback in Nautanki Films and BAG Films' Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors.

So when will he be back with a bang? "I am not sure as I have not shot with them for a while now. But rest assured, whenever Madhu (Drashti Dhami) gets some peace and happiness, I will be back to wreck havoc in her life. Balraj is actually sitting in my gut waiting to come out."

What is unique about the show and your role? "Madhubala attempts to depict something which has not been shown before on television. Hence the audience lapped it up. I have also got quite a lot of applauses for my character. There have been people who come up to me to say that my character is very bad, and I enact it so well. I make sure I add a lot of personal touch and madness to the character. However, my family is unhappy with the role I essay (laughs). They are in fact puzzled as to how I can portray such a dirty man on screen with such a cute face (smiles)."

But the numbers have not come, what is the reason? "It was expected as the story has been changed, and the move to Mumbai was not in the cards at the start. Having said this, the drama factor still remains intact. The dip is cyclic and we will surely bounce back and there is no need to panic," states the actor.

So what is it that Raj will want to do next on television? "I would want to do something like my dear friend Aamir Khan did with Satyamev Jayate. Small screen is a huge medium and one can use it to spread positive messages in the society."

Raj, viewers are also waiting with bated breath for the return of Balraj in Madhubala.
