no, not for that reason. that might convince me to the contrary in fact, if he comes out a genuine guy. 'fickle' is an impression he formed on me somehow, a vague one.

Did you read up Part 4: It happened one night? That is when they first meet.

I believe the narration is a lot of back and forth, but let me know if that is not giving you the larger picture.

Lovely part!!!

I lreally seem to ike this Rishabh, & I really can't figure out why????? Might be cause of all the craziness he brings with him... yet has some depth & mystery within him.

Each part makes me curious to know what's really in the hidding now... & what will be brought to light next... I'm loving it...

The unsaid intimacy they share yet not binding... has me hooked. They are so different & difficult to characterise. Each gesture & touch, actions speaks for so much in them... conveys to the other the unknowing connection they share.

Beautifully described "Moment" had me pause & just live through it...

This moment. This thing. Was it just as accessible to him as it was for me?

And when it would have been understandable to shove him off, I didn't find my will to do so.

What must have been awkward was intimate. What I must have despised, gave a strange comfort in its easy acceptance. When he must have been distant after having gone for all those months, his one touch could not have permeated farther inside me had been around for that time.

I feared that it was agreeable to both of us, that we could leave each other for a decade and then come back to where we had left without having any measure of change in us matter to the other. For this part of me, and I liked to think for him too, was always that same one touch away from awakening.

Ha Ah!!!!! beautiful ... words & thoughts convey sometimes a lot of depth without even letting one know how life changing they can be due to unconscious acceptance...

One instance you are living the moment unconsciously the same instant the moment penetrates & sifts through some closely treasured emotions & just leaves you so much unable to decide what's that is loosing out & what is that is being gained for the prices paid...( I hope it sounds sane😊)

One touch away from awakening... Totally agreed......

I think, I will respond in a series of questions... 😊

Where do they really stand after they share a kiss as strangers?

And why does he climb into her room 5 hrs after she'd left him to tell her that he'd done his homework to find her name?

What do you make of a man who didn't mind kissing her in a public place but wouldn't touch her or utter another word except her name in the privacy of her room? When the place and time could only be opportune to take their kiss further.

What does it mean when that same ruffian keeps at the girl? Tormenting her with those long silent phone calls during which he seldom speaks a word, except perhaps her name?

How does she know that he didn't speak for long, unless she held the receiver to her ears all that time?

Is there another way to read the questions he posed by her green-room? When he makes her the raven and asks if she can leave the man she claims to be betrothed to.

Is he really friendly? Or is this an impassion?
