RK entered the rehearsal hall like a wounded lion, in a mood to almost kill Madhu, "MADHU!!" he called out, "How dare you? How dare you break the contract??"

Madhu slapped RK sturdily across his cheek as he approached her. He closed his eyes for a moment and turned his face to look at her. He saw her bearing angry and teary eyes at him.

-"you shouldn't have slapped me" he growled at her menacingly.

He caught her hand roughly and pinned to her back, breaking her bangles in the process.

"trust me Madhu, you'll be paying for this lifelong"

-"How could you do this to me?" she asked wincing in pain because of her broken bangles that were making her bleed at her wrists, "I thought you loved me"

-"you silly girl" he mocked at her, "I never loved you"

-"you never loved me?" she cross questioned him, "then why did you help me all this time? Why are you trying to me a star?" she held his collar with other hand, "that day, when Papa asked me to handover me to him, why did you save me?" she said her tears getting louder.

RK fell silent.

-his grip loosened as he looked at the other side, "I was just using you" he mumbled. "To quench my… thirst" he said, meaning something very deep.

-"liar" she threw it on his face. "How long will you facade the real RK"

"That day, why did you say that 'Madhubala is the sole aim of my life. She is the one for whom I'm alive' tell me" she reprimanded. "And the day before, why did you say that everything is fair in love and war?"

-"YES" he shouted, "I did say that.. I said that everything is everything is fair in love and war. But you are not that love" he bellowed in a firm confession.

Madhu froze at that moment.

-"what?" she asked subconsciously. "Who is she?" she asked.

RK felt, this is the moment for the revealing the truth. He put his hands into his pocket and took out a bracelet. He extended his hand and showed it to her.

Madhu became numb at that moment. She became nostalgic. Tears flew down like a waterfall from her eyes as she kissed it passionately. As she looked at RK, she could see the mirror image of her melancholy in his face too.
