That Shilpa Shinde and Vineet, Soni and Veer of Maayka made a popular pair is evident from the fact the duo was offered Balaji Telefilms Gharwali Baaharwali, a reality show that features a real-life couple along with the reel partner. "Vineet, his girlfriend and me were offered the show but we are not interested," says Shilpa. Another reality show that she is considering is Sahara One's Saas Vs Bahu that pits her against her Maayka saas Shoma Anand. Ironically, she is planning not to renew her contract with the serial that fetched her popularity and reality shows. "I don't want get typecast like Prerna,Tulsi and Parvati. I want to quit the serial when it is still popular," says Shilpa who may continue for a month or two if the producer wants it. "I am not sure though," she sighs. Is it because her on-screen partner Veer is dead that she wants to opt out? "Not really, it's just that I want to do something different," she informs. And what if he comes back? "Anything can happen in a daily soap, but I don't want to continue," she reiterates. Producer Dheeraj Kumar however, has no clue that she plans to opt out. "She hasn't communicated to me either verbally or in writing," he maintains.
