Well personally I don't think sareen is that much of a bad guy. I mean firstly he only did the whole- malhotra fiasco on Durga's insistance....and remember how he seemed really emotional when brij and moni were talking about their house???
I think he's just a man who's turned a lil bitter after his wifes death. The way he was looking at mahi, when she said she was going to make breakfast....was of amusement aswell as like he's thinking "she's really innocent...just like...????.....well I think she reminds him of Gauri (durga's sis) like DM stated. I don't think he will bbe as bad, compared to durga....I don't think he'll try and create rifts between shabd and mahi...do u???

He probably either doesen't like his daughter....or has a really weak spot for her, that's why he seemed really upset when mahi asked about her, shabd also seemed a lil frightened about how his dad will react......I wonder what he will do, now that he's seen mahi in Kamya's room....I think he might just warn her off, and ask her to stay away.....but ultimately mahi will fix kamya and sareen will be impressed.
