Here Is The Update For 1st January, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Note :- The Cadets Are Alekh, Yudi, Ali and Naina.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
Well today the episode does not start from where it had stopped during the last episode. Scene is on the White Ambassador coming into the basement of the building. And Gehlot steps out, asks his aide to wait and walks into the building carrying a suitcase,
Then somewhere as in an earlier episode, he is met by a darkened figure. Gehlot opens his suitcase and picks out some bundle of currency notes, a picture of Naina and puts it in front. He tells the man, whom Gehlot addresses as Wali, that he has to kill Naina. The man responds that for such a small insignificant job why so much money, Gehlot asks the man, Wali, what happened to his voice, and lack of men; the man tells Gehlot not to waste time on trivial issues and about his men, since he was here to do business with him, meaning Wali. Gehlot then proceeds to tell him about the job to be carried out and then Gehot is leaving The Man asks Gehlot with regards to Shroff the minister, Gehlot says that forget him, he is His / Wali's charge and headache and is free to do what he wants and then Gehlot leaves in a happy frame of mind.
The man then walks over to a brighter and lit area and the man is indeed Gunny.
From here on the flash back takes over, from the point of Gunny having Wali at his mercy and then Gunny being at Wali's mercy. Wali is about to shoot Gunny and Wali saying that he had been waiting for this kind of moment and how the dice changes hands, etc. Gunny in a flash, takes the gun from Wali. Gunny was really close to Wali to make the charge. Some commando type soldier take charge of Wali. Then the scene in an interesting frame by frame changes scene, first a shot of Gunny then his face and lastly his eves.
Scene shifts down stairs where Gehlot leaves in his White Ambassador. While inside calls up Nair and asks the whereabouts of Abhimanyu and Nair says that he is still searching, Gehlot all fired up demands of Nair if he had ever completed his work, and the proceeds to tell Nair about the impending plan to kill Naina.
Back at the K M A, and The Cadets are all ready with the ammunitions they make plans, Ali to black out the K M A, and Sameera to keep watch at the Gates. All the details worked out are shared and each has an assigned role. Meanwhile Sameera had wondered and asked whether the ammunitions would be enough. Alekh picks up a gun and tells that the gun – picked by him – would be enough for many. And Naina interjects that they have to make do with whatever in hand.
Yudi then tells the reat, in a negative sense that he did not know whether they would get back or not, whether they would meet again or not, but he did have affection and love for all. Everyone had a sad look about them. Alekh then tells in a positive voice and thought that they would return back safe and meet at the very place / room and nothing would happen. They have their now well known fist clasp in all smiles.
Scene then shifts to Roma S where she is watching Television News report. The presenter is giving out a report that is unverified, the cadets are holding The K M A to ransom and are demanding huge amount of money. Roma shuts off the Television and in walks Abhimanyu to say that by shutting of the Television News might be shut out but not the truth, this he says with bit of emotion charged and raised voice. Roma tells Abhimanyu that she had nothing to do with her profession and he could have his thoughts, view, etc. but she to was / is entitled to have her views and opinions and that he had to respect that. Immediately Abhimanyu realizes his mistake and apologizes and later suggest a walk, to calm his nerves, I presume.
Roma agrees and they go for the walk.
Scene shifts, looked like it is the office of Gehlot. Gehlot has Nair with him. Gehlot is light hearted and happy that Naina is going to be killed. Nair asks why only Naina, Gehlot says Naina is dangerous and thorn in his plans, and also says he is waiting to take oath as the working minister / or some minister. Nair says why only Naina and why not all the Cadets ; to which Gehlot says he wanted fun in killing one by one and the conversations drift into mute, when they return to talk aloud, Naina will join her brother and lover. Then he ends the talk by saying press must be impatient and eager to meet him.
Out side Gehlot tells the waiting media crew that he failed in his talks with the Cadets and he is sad about it. With folded hands he leaves.
At the K M A, the Cadets are ready and start their job in right earnest. The explosive devices are installed and timers are set. Sameera the look out is watch things at the Gates, and white gypsy roll by to stop at the gates. Nair gets of the vehicle and does / says something with the guards. He leaves. This scenario is passed on to Naina by Sameera. Naina says she would have a look.
Naina steps out, as the guard moves, she also moves, interesting, she synchronizes her steps with that of the guard.. then she comes to a vantage point where she has a bird's eye view of the main gates. As she watches through her binoculars, Ali and Yudi are ready with their work. Those explosives, timers are set. Naina glance / takes a note at the watch.
At the Gates a huge van arrives. To Naina's disbelief her mom and Yudi's parents step out.
Episode ends on the countdown, timer ticking away and Naina's immobile figure watching her / Yudi's family walking in through the gates.
