Part- 10

All six of them were thrown in the solitary confinement for a day without food. It had been four hours and there were 20 more hours to go. Pooja started to feel delirious and Sherry was in bad condition too.

Huda- Guys, we are used to this kind of punishments but Sherry and Pooja need to get out of here or they will end up in infirmary.

Ali- You are absolutely right; we should tell them to get Pooja and Sherry out of here and we will stay more hours for them if Major Bhargav interrupts.

Aalekh- Why are you worried? Nothing will happen to these two as I have an idea.

Naina- So, you found it…

Ali- What are you talking about?

Aalekh told them something in mute conversation and everybody seemed happy.

On the other side, Raj, Naveen and Abhi were really worried about cadets and frustrated as they couldn't do anything to stop Major Bhargav's punishment. It was lunch time and they were in the mess, but nobody wanted to eat anything.

Raj- This is so frustrating. MB knows about them and he will make their lives hell now.

Suriji- Major Bhargav ko dekh ke lag raha tha ki unke aur un char cadets ke beech kaafi rough history rahi hogi… He was so angry when he saw them. I have never seen him such angry not even when you all fooled him back when you were cadets.

Abhi- Then, these cadets have done something big to him to piss him like that, but what? Do you know anything about that Naveen?

Naveen- No, Naina never talked about him before so I have no idea… But knowing her and her friends, it must be big prank.

Next day, Nandini and Shalini were both anxiously waiting outside solitary confinement for Cadets to be released. Naveen, Abhi and Raj had felt terrible about not being there to meet them when they got out but Bhargav had threatened them with disciplinary action if they missed their drills or classes that they were supposed to take.

Shalini & Nandini led them to infirmary but they were initially surprised as none of them looked tired at all. The other thing that surprised Shalini was when she took their BP, it was totally normal. She expected it to be low because of lack of food and sleep.

Shalini wanted to ask them something but she decided not to and Nandini led them to the mess where Suriji already prepared lunch for them. All cadets thanked Suriji and ate little. After eating their food, they all went to their rooms to get some rest.

Shalini & Nandini were in the infirmary when Abhi, Raj & Naveen entered an hour later.

Naveen- Are they ok?

Shalini- Yes, they were absolutely fine. They ate their lunch and went to their room to get some rest. Don't worry…

Raj- Thank god. I thought that one of them ends up in the infirmary after such punishment but I think they are strong enough.

During that conversation, Shalini was in deep thought, and Naveen noticed that.

Naveen- What are you thinking shalu? Is anything wrong?

Shalini- No, it's just that when I checked their BP, they were totally normal and they weren't that tired either. I expected it to be low without food and rest but….

Abhi- It happens… May be they are used to it. After all it was for a day.

Shalini- No Abhi, it was something else. But leave it… They are out and they are fine.

Nandini- Yeah that's the only thing that matters and now we have to make sure that MB doesn't punish them more.

Naveen- Yeah, that's important and I think we will talk to them first thing in the evening at dinner. Today is Friday so there are no timing rules and it would be good if we ate with them.

Abhi- All right, then we will see you and them in the evening.

Abhi and Nandini left, while Shalu and Naveen were remained there discussing something, and Raj also left from there but instead of going to his room, he headed to the lake as he knew it would quite there at this time.

To his surprise, Naina was already there sitting on a stone alone staring at lake. She was in her thoughts. Raj called out and she looked back and smiled to him.

Raj- I thought you all were sleeping in your rooms.

Naina- And why would you thought that?

Raj- Shalu told us that you were getting some rest after lunch.

Naina- Well I don't need rest right now… anyways, what brings you here?

Raj- Nothing, I was free for the rest of the evening so I thought of walking around here.

Naina- Hamm… so go and take your walk.

Raj – Can I ask you something, Naina?

Naina- Go ahead…

Raj- What did you guys do to Major Bhargav that he hates you a lot.

Naina- Well, nothing we played a prank on him as he was driving everyone crazy during appraisals and he got angry for no reason.

Raj- You played prank on them and he let you stayed in the academy afterwards? That's new… usually he throws people out. We remembered that we just escaped once from his exercise and he threw us for three days in solitary confinement because he feared about Abhi's dad and Lala saheb. But if we had played any prank on him, then he would have thrown us out.

Naina- That was the thing that we played a prank on him and he knew it was four of us but he couldn't prove it because he didn't catch us in action. We just told him afterwards to add to his annoyance & anger.

Raj- Ok, now you have to tell me full story…

Naina- Well it was time, when he started to make everyone crazy with his stupid breakfast and unnecessary exercises, and he used to insult all cadets a lot too. So we decided to give him a taste of his own medicine.

(Flashback:

One afternoon at NDA when Mogambo was there for appraisals.

When Naina, Ali, Huda & Aalekh were free as they finished their assignment earlier than other cadets, they decided to settle their scores with Mogambo.

Aalekh and Naina went in his room by picking lock and set up everything for the night's tamasha, while Huda and Ali went to main electricity panel and hacked into the system with Huda's laptop. At night Aalekh, Naina and Ali gathered in Ali's room at boys' hostel and Huda was waiting for MB to go into his room. As he spotted MB at the door of his room, he called on Naina's cell to give signal to go ahead with their plan.

As soon as he opened the door, the electricity went off and there was a splash……

He was wet and it was really cold water and there was a bucket hanging with a rope @ the door, but he couldn't see anything because of no power. He tried the light switch and there was a loud noise near another room so he rushed with a gun in their hands but they opened the door and another splash…………………. With rotten eggs and tomatoes. This wasn't enough, but just two steps ahead he stepped into two buckets. One was filled with stinking mud and the other one was wall paint. Now he was really angry, and went to the bathroom. But the floor was slippery because of the glue and cold. He fell down and hurt himself too much. But when he turned on to take shower, and luckily there was water and he started to take hot shower. When he put soap on to clean the mess, Ali switched pannel again and suddenly the water became so cold and after that there wasn't any water at all.

Now he came in the living room screaming with pain and anger and there was still half soap on their body mixed with rotten eggs, tomatoes, glue, mud and wall paint. They put some clothes on and clothes became muddy too.

Now the electricity was back and so was the water but he was screaming in the Hall way and other faculty members, orderlies as well as all the cadets came there when they heard all the screaming.

Now the scene was perfect as he was totally humiliated in front of the whole academy and in some serious pain and not knowing who did all this.

Flashback ends)

As Naina finished her story, Raj was laughing really hard.

Raj- But nobody found out that you four were behind that prank?

Naina- Actually one person did, but he was too sweet to us and may be hated Major Bhargav so he didn't say anything against us.

Raj- Who was that?

Naina- Kunal sir, because he spotted me when I exited from boys' hostel after the prank and he also spotted Huda after lights out, so he knew it would be us. He asked me the next day and I told him everything and it was when Mogambo heard our conversation.

Raj- Then???

Naina- Then he went to Brigadier Mehra with his complains but when Brigadier asked Kunal sir, Kunal sir flatly refused to know anything about that and that made him angrier towards us. But he had to go back as it was on the second last day of appraisals when we played that prank because we made sure it happens after he submits his report to ministry so the academy and other cadets won't suffer.

Raj(smiled)- Brilliant ideas… Just do us a favor and don't use any of your ideas on us as we won't be able to keep track with that…

Naina(mockingly)- Don't worry, we just use our expertise on people whom we don't like and who bug us.

After sometime, they both left from there to get to their routine work.

At night, all cadets had a nice time over dinner and they decided to stay out of trouble for two weeks as well as possible, but they didn't know that mogambo aka Major Bhargav already thought of making their lives miserable than it already was.
