the voice of dr.shalini seemed a hindrance...oh why..the lights snapped in...

and suddenly the hands slid out of nainas waist..leaving her feeling incomplete...she turned fast...but he was gone again..as suddenly as he had come....

and she was left standing..the cheers ditn reach..her..there was a silent whistling of the wind outside....

the cheers and aapluses filled the night air!!!...

but naina stood...still....numb....

they turned...and immediately naina's eyebows formed an arc...

and then the scene was this...

pooja and rajveer walked side by side...and naina a little away...

she had taken her saree pallu around her shoulder and was fuming...

the inceesant flirts..kitne stupid lagte hain dono..rqjveer sir ko ho kya gaya hai...accident ke baad dimag par asar pada hai...flirt???pooja????

outside the hostel..rajveer took pooja's hand..and a soft kiss on it...

"is raanjhe ka ek hi sms hai apni heer ko...tumsa koi nahi..."

"goodnight sir...."..pooja ran inside....

but naina..her look was ike a dagger...

rajveer looked at..her..she turnd at once to leave...

"goodnight naina..."

she turned back...made up a honey smile..

"GOOD NIGHT SIR...."


she had turned to leave...but her hand was in somenes firm grip...

"SIRRRR...aap agar mera nahi chodenge..to mein so nahi paungi..agar so nahi paayi..to GOOD NIGHT ..kaise hogi..???"

she wasnt facing him...

and then rajveer said just one sentece...

"naina..aaj ki raat ...bahut hi khoobsurat raat thi..{ya right...was her thought}...

todays night is such that we cannot do anything...

naina ran to her room..opened the door ...banged it shut...pooja was singing in the baathrom...uffff!!!

she saw the mirror...the earrings went flying off to the bed...

it was soon followed by the little chain...

and then she sat down on the bed..over looking themirror...it was turn for the bangles on one hand...she wasnt a little more happier even now...

"kuch kehna nahi..
{chhan..two bangles...}
sunna nahi..

{chhan..two more...}
dil ko kehne do..

{chhan..chhan..four more...}
its magical...khoobsurat raat..

{chhan chhhan...about four more...untill only two are left...}

she looks up..eyes wide into the mirror......

Naina was angry.......and yet..........she felt the words.......that flashed in her mind all night....

She had thrown all her jewelery around, and went to sleep like that.....her nose red in anger..........and eyebrows arched in question........

She was fast asleep.

"Naina...."

"Oye uth qudiye!! Late ho raha hai!"

She wasnt responding.........finally Pooja went close to her ear.....and stroked her hair, grinning.......and suddenly.........

"NAIIIINAAAAAAAAA................!!!!!"

"Pooja ki bachhi!!", she yelled, jumping out of her bed......startled, "...nahin choodungi tujhe...............aaj maregi mere haath se!"

But by then, fully dressed Pooja had run away.

"Cadets and Faculty members, I now announce the official commencement of the 360 degree review programme.
Being the Commander in Chief of KMA, I request all of you to cooperate with our guests.
Now I request Colonel Priya Gill to explain you the proceedings of the programme.
I declare all the regular activities of the academy partially suspended for the coming week."

This bought a small grin on the faces of the cadets. Priya Gill went to the podium.

"Good Morning!
I wanted to say 'friends', but barring some of you, we are not yet so well acquainted as to be friends",

she glanced at Huda, who smiled back,
"....well, aS Breg.Chadok had informed you we are holding a 360 degree review programme.

Well, firstly, let me explain you, what this means. I am trying to obtain a well-rounded and unbiased opinion about your faculty, and give them their deserving appraisal, accordingly."

The cadets nodded in agreement.

"So", she continued,

"We shall begin as soon as after lunch today, after I explain you about the first phase of this programme.

We will be dividing all of you, into groups. Each group will be spending a day with a faculty member.

The member can plan their day, according to his/her will. This provides them a chance to know their students better, and the same goes for the students.

However, the day will be spent doing something that is exactly related to the job/subject of the faculty member."

The faces lit up, at the prospect of spending a day with their teachers, however idea of spending 12hrs with Major Nair was a bad idea.

"Also, we shall poll for teacher's compatibility and student's interest during these 12hrs.

ALso, after these hours, all the students will give a small review test, and compatibility test for each teacher.
And on this basis, our representative will pick one cadet per faculty as to assist him/her throughout the programme. "

Memories of the old appraisal programme lingered in the minds of the cadets. But this time, tit-or-tat, they wouldn't let Captain Rajveer loose at any cost!
