Time to lead, Rajeev - article - Page 3

I am not at all happy by this move of his.

We all are very much aware of the fact that thrillers in Bollywood are rarely a HIT.

And for a TV actor to sign such a movie is a big risk.

No doubt about Rajeev's acting capabilities but majority audience cannot digest such movies and they are declared a flop unfortunately.

A recently example being 'Naqaab'. The movie was directed by the biggest directors of Bollywood - abbas-mustan. It had the already established heroes of Bollywood but failed at the box office.

All this is my POV.

Anyways wish him all the best. Maybe he changes the trend 😉

i agree with saara...such movies r mostly cricticlally acclaimed....i wud be nice if rajeev did a more commercial film as his first...bt i wish him allllllllllllllll the luck adn success coz hes truely hardworking and teh king of tv......he has the ability adn hopefully shd cum out successfully......all teh best...👏😳

Naqaab failed bcoz of bad scripting , but I believe Anurag is a sensible director, he was associated with Satya and Yuva which all R GR8 piece of works and HIT has no predefined formula!!! I guess films like "Khosla ka Ghosla" and many others were least expected hits but I guess that they were trend setters n as U say I really hope even this would be a trend setter!! I somehow feel that Rajeev is too particular while choosing his roles and I just hope it becomes a hit!!"

Is anurag an actor too???? 😲, I thought that he was only a film producer!!!!....

Satya and Yuva were not thrillers...😛...they were based on the social issues. And above all they had well-established actors in them.

What i am saying is on the bases of the trend that has been following...!!! If bad scripting happened with naqaab it can happen with this too.

No doubt about either anurag's capabilities or Rajeev's but....this is for sure a 'big' risk as Rajeev will be a new entrant in the world of Bollywood.😛

Anurag Kashyap is a very famous director..... he has made Black Friday on the 1993 Bombay blasts... it is one of my fav movies.... that's why Im happy that Raj will work with him😛
