Hi all. This is delayed because my SAB tv went for a toss yesterday. This analysis is courtesy Nomi, to whom i want to say 'thank you' for uploading videos so regualrly. As somoeone who tried to upload a video and failed gloriously, i am in awe of you. 😊

Also, this post is especially for Rosemere, who left messages for me at two places asking why i hadnt done an analysis. Thanks for appreciating sweetheart!

So the first scene of Gaurav has him walking in humming a song... ek toh yeh kabhi aisa koi gaana kyun nahi hum karta jo maine suna ho.... yeh kuch apna hi music bana ke hum karte hai.... jai gaurav cobain ji ki!.... waise if kurt cobain had been alive right now and read this, this is the moment he would have killed himself!

He also bring 'maa ke dulaar se bhara' cake... incidentally whose ma?.... so far, lrl has been obsessed with fathers/surrogate fathers/male best friends.... these men and their relationships with each other have formed the core of the story... perhaps part of why Naina is appealing to all of them is that she has walked into this male world and wants her answers from it.... and she is doing this aggressively, sometimes insolently, but never charmingly..... it is Abhimanyu who does things charmingly but then he has grown up in a ceremonious world... Naina is more brash, but she is also younger... the dual worlds of Abhimanyu have made him what he is, the unidimensionality of Naina's 'mission' has made her what she is... and the two of them are interestingly androgynous.

Gaurav said the 'jo chale gaye unhe gham nahi, jo rah gaye unke gham kam nahi' well... serious but not overtly so... the dialogue too was ok, could have been better but not bad... especially when one hears what came next....

'Jeena wohi jaante hai jo apne ghamon ko iss cake ki tarah kachcha chaba jaate hai'.... uffffffffffffffffffffff... yeh kaun likhta hai?.... hit him/her... cake kachcha nahi hota.... woh usse maida nahi de raha khane ke liye.... matlab kuch bhi likh denge.... uffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

I liked the casualness with which he introduced Rajveer's name into the conversation... 'kaisa lagega agar woh sahi hoga toh?'.... Abhimanyu too has no answers... he has only questions.... but he is open to questions from every point of view... he is open to the idea that Rajveer may be right... he was also open to the idea of following this up and getting him punished by the system... he takes him time about these ideas... unlike Naina, he is not in a hurry to get the answers.... though to be fair, it is her brother who has died and not his.... most deaths, even when routine, are pointless and futile to those who lose the people they loved.... (perhaps the saddest are those that are not futile to anyone).... but death mired in controversy, death with the label of 'traitor' attached... at one level, dealing with those questions then becomes a way of dealing with the pointlessness and hopelessness of the death.... thats why its not surprising that Naina is desparate for answers.... they are her one way of coming to terms with the fact that her brother is dead.... perhaps she feels she'll be at peace when she knows the 'where, when, why, how' of it.... and yes one kind of peace will come to her when she knows her answers.... i just hope happiness too follows that peace.... usually answers dont bring the happiness we think they will.

Anyway, i will set the discourse of death aside... perhaps come back to it later someday.... too much of it in one go will only upset me.

And then she says 'koi sahi ho ya galat, no one can bring my brother back'.... and then THE shot.... pata hai, becuase i have gotten used to the way Gaurav acts, at times i tend to take his acting for granted in certain ways.... and then he does something that excites me all over again, that makes me want to go on following his work... this was one such shot... the pleasant expression on his face did not change.... he just lowered his eyelids, then lowered his face slightly, then there was a sigh but a very slight one, you had to be really quick to catch it.... then suddenly raising his eyelids and looking at her while saying 'at least aap phir se jeena toh shuru kar dengi'.... in that lowering of eyelid and face, in that 1/4th of a sigh and 1/10th of a smile, this is what i got 'ab main kya kahoon... there is no answer to this... do you think i havent grappled with these questions.... but life doesnt go on like that'.... i saw this entire struggle to come to terms with a friends death in one shot.... one shot, and not one scene... these lines, these emotions and these situations flashed through my mind as i was watching it.... it comes once in a while but he does these things in a shot or a scene that take your breath away because they say so much without essentially saying anything.... this was one of them. Its because he does things like these and that too in scenes where i least expect it that i shall try and catch up with his work irrespective of where i am...

Then there was one shot where he is personifying one kind of intezaar... yeh hawa ke jhonke se Naina ko inspiration kyun chahiye?... again, bad dialogue... his was the thehra wala intezaar.... usual good tarah se kiya.

So today is the big day?.... we'll get to see him in both four and hopefully a little bit more in lrl.... i'm very excited about four because the interveiw states he has a fun role and becuase i loved the name Param preet Singh.... Gaurav ko bahut suit karta hai πŸ˜›

Ciao....

shvetal....i m sure...whenever u would fail to watch the show on tv....we'll get to read these engaging, prodigious, & incredibly astonishing analysis. (i wish ur sab tv go for a toss every day...).... πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜†
so that..u watch the episode online...(with repeats of scenes)..catch every micro-second..every single details of gaurav's body movement ..every single change of his expressions... & come here with a fantastic addition of ur own thoughts....that make us completely speechless. πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘

loved it..as always.... 😊

oh i am the first one to comment.
now u see why naina looks up to abhi for consolation. he certainly says things according to situation. ek minute ke liye hi sahi he managed to cheer her up and made her eat the cake. slowly he is now trying to make her understand abt raj. i think he himself has accepted the fact of naveen's death. that is his plus point - he understands people very well be it naina or raj or huda.
he knows exactly what is going thru raj and naina and i like the way he asks naina to understand raj. it will be good if he succeeds. atleast i can see my favourite pair together.
they say all men r emotional fools - but abhi has a perfect control over his emotions. how he is feeling is expressed by the tone of his voice. he uses a subtle tone for delicate situations and cheerful tone for funny situations and at the same time still manages to keep a straight face. u can exactly tell what he is feeling and that expression on his face shows his adaptation to a situation - u know the timing is just perfect.
as for naina - u have explained her situation very welll.
a young girl in a male dominated world with no idea where to go - has a lot of unanswered and unasked questions and no one able to understand how to bring her out of her shell except abhi. i wish u make a seperate topic for naina's situation and post the concerned paragraph there. maybe people will understand her position more.

loved it..as always.... 😊

Acchca aur mere download ke lambe lambe bills kaun bharega??!!!! πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Actually yes watching it on comp is easier in one sense.... though i watch it only watch it once on my comp, not more than that.... but if i like/dislike something, i can pause it, write about it in my post and then go back to the show.... when i write an analysis after watching the show on tv there are things that were in my mind but i forget when i start writing...

but i do catch micro seconds even when i see it on tv.... for eg. that whole thing about a disappointing close up that led me to write a long post in the fan club about how cuts in scenes are visible in lrl.... that reaction came from watching it on tv, not on the comp....

thanks for loving it!

slowly he is now trying to make her understand abt raj. i think he himself has accepted the fact of naveen's death. Yes yesterday even i got a sense of that... that he has accepted that Rajveer killed Naveen and he thinks that Rajveer may have had his reasons for doing so. I wish though that they had shown a scene where Abhimanyu comes to terms with this fact and decides what his stand is going to be..... a scene where he thinks 'how could Rajveer do this?... then he remembers moments from their days together.... and then thinks i am going to find out what his reasons were'..... while his stand is not abrupt considering that a lot of time has passed since he found out about it, it is a stand where the audience does not know how the character reached this point... for a new character, thats an especially risky thing to do... why are the people behind the show not using their brains at all?

that is his plus point - he understands people very well be it naina or raj or huda. Yes Abhimanyu is quick at assessing people... he placed all of them at a handshake, remember?!
he knows exactly what is going thru raj and naina and i like the way he asks naina to understand raj. it will be good if he succeeds. atleast i can see my favourite pair together. I hope you get to see your favourite pair together 😊
They say all men r emotional fools Who says this?... yeh kahan hai?... main inke charan chuna chahti hoon πŸ˜† πŸ˜†..... on a serious note, i think some people are emotional fools, irrespective of whether they are men or women.... with one such example being me!!

- but abhi has a perfect control over his emotions. I think his discomfort with his father and his heritage is one place where he cannot control his emotions

how he is feeling is expressed by the tone of his voice. he uses a subtle tone for delicate situations and cheerful tone for funny situations and at the same time still manages to keep a straight face. u can exactly tell what he is feeling and that expression on his face shows his adaptation to a situation - u know the timing is just perfect. This is all praise for Gaurav's acting 😊... when a person watching can tell what the person acting is feeling, thats good acting!!... yes i like his sense of timing too.
as for naina - u have explained her situation very welll. Thank you!
a young girl in a male dominated world with no idea where to go - has a lot of unanswered and unasked questions and no one able to understand how to bring her out of her shell except abhi. i wish u make a seperate topic for naina's situation and post the concerned paragraph there. maybe people will understand her position more. Matlab if i change my marketing style i shall get more response πŸ˜† πŸ˜†... anuj, kya tumhe mujhse koi dushmani hai?.... is the fact that i defend Abhimanyu's role not enough that now you want me to defend Naina's role as well πŸ˜† πŸ˜†.... well i'll try and flesh out the argument more and post it for you, ok?

Me too completely in awe. But thanks to Nomi or else how wld u have done the analysis.

Well it was to show the light mood of Abhimanyu. Now I have accepted that this is part of his charac in LRL. Oh you have mad eme remember Kurt Cobain and he wld have appreciated the attempt for being original.

Oh come Shevtal that 'Maa' was just to show affectionately made cake. Tum toh baal ki khaal nikaal rahi hoπŸ˜•. Naina is being portrayed to be as a very determined and focussed person. Till now she not detered from her goalπŸ‘. Naina is appealing to them precisely for her inner resolve, courage intermingled with emotions.

Gaurav said the 'jo chale gaye unhe gham nahi, jo rah gaye unke gham kam nahi' well... serious but not overtly so... the dialogue too was ok, could have been better but not bad... especially when one hears what came next....

'Jo chale gaye unhe gham nahi, jo rah gaye unke gham kam nahi' well...⭐️ Oh I loved this line so much and can hear it as many times😍. It has a deeper meaning too in reference to Naveen and separately to Naina.

'Jeena wohi jaante hai jo apne ghamon ko iss cake ki tarah kachcha chaba jaate hai'.... uffffffffffffffffffffff... yeh kaun likhta hai?.... hit him/her... cake kachcha nahi hota.... woh usse maida nahi de raha khane ke liye.... matlab kuch bhi likh denge.... uffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

This was to enthuse humour into the situation it was already tense. Btw I liked his action hereπŸ˜›

Yes he said it so beautifullyπŸ‘ The way it was bought into the conversation is applaudworthy. Great work ScriptwriterπŸ‘πŸΌ . Abhi is taking things as they come he is being patient with the proceedings. Abhi understands & trusts Rajveer and thats why he puts forth the ques to Naina ' What if he is right?'. Abhi is more thoughful and understanding of people and situtations. Naina has the sense of urgency to regain her brother's honor. She will be at peace only after she succeeds in her goal.

Anyway, i will set the discourse of death aside... perhaps come back to it later someday.... too much of it in one go will only upset me.

And then she says 'koi sahi ho ya galat, no one can bring my brother back'...

Now this depicts Naina's dilemma to what after she succeeds in acheiving her goal. Now as she is a goal oriented person what wld she do? till now it was her brother's honor but what next? Apart from this she feels she has to accept her brother's loss and is slowly coming to terms with it.

. and then THE shot.... pata hai, becuase i have gotten used to the way Gaurav acts, at times i tend to take his acting for granted in certain ways.... and then he does something that excites me all over again, that makes me want to go on following his work... this was one such shot... the pleasant expression on his face did not change.... he just lowered his eyelids, then lowered his face slightly, then there was a sigh but a very slight one, you had to be really quick to catch it.... then suddenly raising his eyelids and looking at her while saying 'at least aap phir se jeena toh shuru kar dengi'.... in that lowering of eyelid and face, in that 1/4th of a sigh and 1/10th of a smile, this is what i got 'ab main kya kahoon... there is no answer to this... do you think i havent grappled with these questions.... but life doesnt go on like that'.... i saw this entire struggle to come to terms with a friends death in one shot.... one shot, and not one scene... these lines, these emotions and these situations flashed through my mind as i was watching it.... it comes once in a while but he does these things in a shot or a scene that take your breath away because they say so much without essentially saying anything.... this was one of them. Its because he does things like these and that too in scenes where i least expect it that i shall try and catch up with his work irrespective of where i am...

Yes I agree he was more philosophic here. And then gave her a pratical ans to live life. Perhaps trying to infuse some cheer in her life. I think Abhi will enable Naina to come to terms with her brother's death and finally overcome the grief. In totality I liked the scene. Wish the director gave it more time. I felt it was rushed thru.

Then there was one shot where he is personifying one kind of intezaar... yeh hawa ke jhonke se Naina ko inspiration kyun chahiye?... again, bad dialogue... his was the thehra wala intezaar.... usual good tarah se kiya.

I think they are trying to be poetic.

So today is the big day?.... we'll get to see him in both four and hopefully a little bit more in lrl.... i'm very excited about four because the interveiw states he has a fun role and becuase i loved the name Param preet Singh.... Gaurav ko bahut suit karta hai πŸ˜›

Ciao....

yes waiting for some more meaningful scenes.
