Prateek wonders how Trisha could have known about his affair. Neha replies that Trisha had confronted her a few weeks back. Trisha had arrived at Neha's house & showed her a picture in which Prateek & Neha were hugging each another. At first Neha had tried to deny the affair but Trisha was sure about it & went on to call her names like "cheap woman" and a "bloody gold digger". She yelled at Neha for destroying their family & warned her that she'll tell Amrita everything. Neha had promised to her that she'll stay away from Prateek.
Prateek suddenly realizes that Trisha had taken his cellphone one day to click a selfie but Neha had texted him at the same time. At first he had thought Trisha didn't read that message but now he's sure she did. Also, he had refused to take his family on a mini-vacation & chose his "work" on a Sunday instead. So, Trisha's doubts were confirmed about his affair with Neha.
Neha says that's why Trisha blackmailed her into getting the medical certificate. Prateek yells at her for not telling him about that. He feels that his affair could be the reason behind Trisha's disappearance. He blames Neha for being irresponsible & leaves.
At the Swaikas' house, Kabir accompanies Amrita back. Prateek arrives there & questions Kabir on why he's there at this hour. Amrita questions Prateek as to why Neha gave Trisha that medical certificate. Prateek is annoyed & replies how'd he know why she did that. Kabir interrupts him & asks him when and how did he found out it was Neha who got the certificate for Trisha. Prateek tries to clarify that Neha had called him after Kabir's interrogation. He warns Kabir to seek permission first & then question his employees in the future. Amrita asks Prateek as to why he's so bothered about Neha. He replies that Neha is his employee. He continues to defend Neha while Amrita grows frustrated about Prateek's 'helping' attitude towards his secretary. Kabir quietly listens to them arguing & finally excuses himself.
Amrita tells Prateek that she'll be visiting his office tomorrow & will question Neha herself. Prateek is shocked & tells her not to create a scene at his office as the cops are doing their job already.
Kabir works on his white board & wonders what Neha could be hiding. He takes off Amrita's picture from the list of suspects & wonders if there's a connection between Prateek and his secretary.
Prateek can't sleep at night as he's tensed of getting caught. Amrita is up as well, worried about what Neha could be hiding.Prem tries to call Lavanya but her phone is switched off. Kushan is up as well, sipping on his whiskey, as he watches Lavanya sleep nearby. Nikhil calls Gaurav in the middle of the night but he ends his call.
Next day, Nikhil meets with Gaurav at a restaurant. Gaurav is mad at him for being careless as he was caught with Rohit when Sonali visited him unexpectedly. He also doesn't like the fact that he's working with Kushan. He tells him that he'll be living under a constant fear now that Sonali might come to know of their 'big secret'.
Dr. Varsha visits Kabir at his home. Kabir tauntingly asks her if its unethical for a psychiatrist to intrude his house like that. Varsha replies him & asks if he does everything ethically at his job. Kabir is left speechless.
At the Swaikas' house, Amrita is still upset with Prateek & tries to explain tp him that whatever Neha is hiding could be an important clue to locate their daughter and he must let her meet Neha and question her. Prateek tells her that he'd go and interrogate Neha himself. He leaves for his office.
Amrita doesn't believe a word he's said & thinks how she can't trust anyone.
