Lovely update dear..❤️.Enjoyed it so much.. Its really a treat to read your awesome update with side comments and foot note......Fabulous job dear....❤️.These Body guards were really useless...😡..Stupid creatures.😡..Dutta yelled at them...supriya tried to explain the incident & this Kala cleverly told the situation with her fake tears..😲😡...What a brilliant evil!!...😡..She was playing with the fire without any fear..😲😡...Why Couldn't Dutta understand her fake drama???..😭😭... He Believed his sister's fake words & consoled her..😭.. Its really sad to see him as an innocent brother..😭..Kishore firmly closed his mouth& didn't utter a single word..😲😡..This man was like a showcase doll....AS defended their servants.😊..She was a good soul..🤗..Roop tried to escape from the inquiry & caught by her mother.😆...Errr Roops..😡..She tried to involve our innocent Naku in this crucial plan..😲😡...Heartless evil trio..😡..Hate them.😡...Poor Naku..😭.But Dutta didn't suspect her.❤️...He just wanted to know whether she saw any person or not...😊..Naku showed the letter to Dutta & he released her from his inquiry..😊..Dutta ordered a new set of rules.👏...Poor Kala & her stupid sisters.🤣...Their plans were back fired on them.🤣..Evil trio threatened innocent Naku..😡.But she didn't tell about the letter matter..👏..She was the best body guard for our Dutta..👏.Naku hid the letter matter from her mother too❤️🤗...Awe...Sweet Naku..🤗.Dutta worried about his family members' security....AS consoled him.😊..She suggested a bodyguard for Supriya...So we'll see our expressionless bodyguard soon...😉😆.Superb well written update dear..❤️.Enjoyed it soo much ...Thank you so much dear.🤗..So sweet of you.🤗..Eagerly waiting for the next update dear....Take care...tra' twinky🤗

Episode ~37

Dutta's Den

The episode picks up from the point, where Aye Sahib too admits before Dutta and Baji , that the enemy could be someone from within the household, she emphasizes , first you were attacked twice, there too the man turned out to be one of your men, and today your would be wife is attacked, I don't know who it could be , but this is for certain no one can be trusted.. Dutta you need to do onething, without letting any one know, send for some from Supriya's village ,if it's someone she finds trustworthy then she too can be at peace, I'll talk to her father about his matter.. suggests Aye Sahib.. then she chants ,Jagdamba! please watch over this household.. then she continues , no Iam not going to send Supriya back... once an auspicious day is worked out, marriage will be solemnized straightway... from tomorrow the pre -nuptial rituals will begin. She finalized... she turns to leave and Baji bends to touch her feet , but she requests ,Baji, tonight you need to stay with Dutta, if you are with him then I will feel less stressed too. Baji reassures her , Aye Sahib you just relax and sleep ,don't worry, till Bhau does not get married I won't leave his side! will be glued to him!

Aye Sahib leaves the room. Dutta turns and with a scowl watches his mother leave.. Baji too watches her leave and then in great comic style pulls out his gun and cocks it with an order, come on then Bhau to bed now!. vahini is waiting for you! I mean in your dreams.. Dutta gives him a dirty look .. Bhau you can't even take a joke.. not amused Dutta sounds off in his baritone voice, put down the gun.. he points his fore finger, than joins it with his middle finger and points both fingers down wards...Baji puts his gun down on the table and Dutta orders coldly , go to sleep. Baji folds his arm , feels the back of his head , and says, good night sweet dreams , and jumps onto Dutta's bed and pulls the counter pane up to cover himself. .. takes a peek at Dutta . starts again good night Bhau! chillax!

Dutta ignores his humour and looks down coldly at the gun on the table , he picks it up, and holds it, looks at it and sits down studying it carefully with concentrated intense eyes...pointing it upwards and then leans forward , and stares hard at the held upright gun.. thinking hard..

Outhouse

Naku lies on her side. Her eyes wide awake.. she sees FB's of Dutta carrying Supriya in his arms down the corridor and at the top of the stairs.. she sees herself being carried in his strong arms down the stairs her cheek pressed against his wide chest.. she sees his hooded eyes looking down at her, and his mouth curves in a slanted smile.. the wind blows the white curtains about.. but she sleeps close to his heart, gradually looking down at her face, he brings her down and lays her down gently on the sofa and sits by her side.. watching her beautiful sleeping face. Slowly his fingers feel the side of her face as he touches her wavy dark hair .. he stares down tenderly at her sleeping face , and then softly calls her name , Naku..open your eyes..Naku ..open your eyes Naku , he repeats.. she opens her eyes, and turns her face to see him smiling lovingly at her.. Dutta looks at her beautiful face, lying on the red settee... and she smiles back at him , her big eyes fixed on his face..

Then.. a tune is heard.. a soulful sound of the harmonica.. Naku stirs, and looks back at her mother who is fast asleep.. the tune carries on and slowly she sits up on her bed, moves her legs over the edge of the bed and tip toes out of the room..the tunes carries on..

Underneath the blue moonlight , a figure is visible with his back sitting on a swing. Naku is drawn by the tune and she follows it across the house.. a face blows on the wind instrument moving it gently across his mouth... Naku hears the tune, walks past the indoor pond across the floor, and raises her eyes upwards.. where the music comes from.. slowly , but surely she climbs the stairs..

Dutta sits propped up against the swing one of his legs stretched straight, he blows into the instrument and the tunes sound on amidst the severe storm that shake the trees..

Naku walks on to the terrace in the raging storm.. she finds the source of this tune that creates a storm in her..

She nears him, and oblivious to the whole world lost in making his music he plays on.. Naku stands and watches him as he sits on the swing on leg folded up.. the swing moves slowly .. but he carries on blowing on the mouth organ he grips with his fingertips..

She too is lost in his tune listening to it , as he is lost in playing it.. mesmerized she bends her knees and sinks down immersed totally in his tune.. her eyes close..the tune lulls her to sleep.. suddenly she hears the howling wind.. and realizes that the tune has stopped..

Slowly she opens her eyes, and they move upwards from the ground. He looks down into her upturned big bold eyes. Slowly she stands before him, looks up into his eyes that look down at her.. he asks.. what's the matter ? can't get to sleep? you must be frightened? no need to be frightened now ..go get some sleep.. he says and walks off to leave her alone on the terrace.. she watches him leave..

Dutta's Bar

Dutta ~ Naku first conversation

A selection of liquor glasses are shown. Finally a drink is poured into a whisky glass. Naku turns up as Dutta gulps down some drink. He puts his glass down , then picks up the bottle and pours some more in the glass.. Saab drinking doesn't take pain away .. Dutta goes .. what?..he turns to look at her, so you can talk as well? what did you say? pain doesn't go away? they say after drinking one begins to speak, here I am drinking and you are the one who is talking.. he picks up his glass and moves closer to her.. and looks at her severely and she mumbles, ummm, I was just.. my babaa drinks also, to forget.. that clothing mill shut down , since then , he lost his job, his peace of mind, he feels ashamed of living off his wife, but Saab drinking does not make one forget..in fact it accentuates , he never talks about what really hurts him, but I know , he's my father, can't send his son to school, can't buy his daughter new clothes, he doesn't want to ask his wife for the money , at first he used to drink to fight pain, now he fights to drink.. Dutta angrily gulps down his drink...and then posts his other hand up against the wooden frame.. and says sarcastically and you think I'll turn out like your babaa?..Naku says no Saab it not like that! can I say something Saab? you play the harmonica very well...it strikes a chord with the heart straightaway ,it's a lovely tune..what can I say it brings tears to the eyes.. Saab there is a lot of pain in your heart..have you also lost something? Dutta muses .. has someone gone away from you? he muses.. and drinks more.. shall I tell you something Saab, you have to understand pain.. you must address to it tell pain, after each night comes dawn ,after sorrow comes joy.. my Aye taught me this.. that who so ever gives pain also provides healing.

Dutta refills his glass for the fourth time, comes up to her and challenges her, do you know what pain is? have you seen pain? have you felt pain?.. Naku pauses , smiles and replies, I have seen pain..and have felt it too.. but your pain and my pain are completely different from each other, my pain makes me cry.. but your pain comes out as anger .. Dutta gulps his drink.. and in anger he says.. is that what you think?.. Naku replies..I saw it Saab! that day how you beat Morey ,like it was not Morey but someone else.. Dutta stares at her intently.. and Naku continues... I saw.. how shall I say it.. like my Aye ,when she gets angry ,I know it , her helplessness manifests itself in her anger... But in you there is helplessness, despair, and hurt.. Dutta ponders at her words. But Naku carries on , Saab my Aye says, what's gone ! is past, think about the present, now!.. he growls.. go to your Aye! talks about pain.. In a mood he sits on the arm rest of his chair and folds one leg on the seat... He thinks and suddenly turns his head and finds her still standing.. haven't you gone yet? He moans.. she starts again... Saab can I say something.. and he gives her a sided look.. aren't you afraid of me? he asks , and she replies.. with a little giggle.. why would I be afraid of you Saab ? you are the one who saved me ... death introduced us to each other so why would I fear you, Saab you ask your pain to go away, tell your pain, that I have a mother like Aye Sahib , sisters that love me so much, and a fiance who is so beautiful. Tell pain that I am very content.. then wait and see Saab the sadness in your tunes will disappear... let someone come closer Saab.. like Supriya Tai .. marry Supriya Tai.. love will leave no place for pain...oops I am blabbering..

She comes to Dutta who is much moved by her words , and hands him over the letter, Baji gave me this letter to give to Supriya Tai.. it will look better if you'll give it to her she will really appreciate it... she leaves the letter on the table and turns and leaves Dutta watches her leave.. he looks at the folded letter..

Ground Floor

Roops still in her silken pyjamas drags Leela by the arm and brings her to the spot , where Kala and Aye Sahib are selecting clothes for Supriya. Baji too sits there supervising the home buying. Roops is excited , come on ! such beautiful sari's it'll be great fun! Aye Sahib , teases, so you have woken up? Baji looks at Roops and Leela and says , curtly, it's the smell of new clothes that's pulled them up ,otherwise their morning never starts! Aye Sahib , tells him off Baji don't meddle in women's matters! Roops looks at the clothes and says, so cute! and Kala gives her a cold look.. and selects a sari with a remark, this one will look nice on vahini Sahib isn't it?. Roops choses another one and says, if there was another one with a pink tone in it it would've looked very nice isn't it Leela Tai ?.. ohh will someone give me some tea! no one's served me any tea!,Roops moans. Aye Sahib laughs , now I am not needed here, for all three to agree on one sari ? very unlikely in this life time.. Kala holds one up against her as the other two smile at her choice, she says, I personally think this particular colour will compliment vahini a lot, she's light skinned .. what do you reckon Aye ?.. Aye replies, get what you like.. Kala smiles at her choice and glares at her sisters rejecting their selection.. her words sound off who cannot differentiate good from bad, how can they understand Kala.. and she folds the sari she had chosen.. and Leela gives her older sister a puzzled look ... episode ends.. The episode has to be one of the classic episodes of LTL. It lays bare the vulnerable side of Dutta the man with the mouth organ, as opposed to the gun metal hard don Dutta Bhau.

It marks the beginning of an unspoken bond between the lord of the manor and a loyal humble maid. Naku is endearing as the innocent, commonplace, simplistic girl, who fearlessly and comfortably manages to impress the unapproachable, stiff Dutta Bhau.

Their conversation which starts with her empathizing with him, soon turns to counselling him, and finally empowering him with positivity..

She has good communicative skills.. she succeeds in goading the reserved Dutta into confiding sections of his life to her..

Without a doubt it's a two way situation. Each has a quiet confidence of being heard and not scoffed at. They treat each other's views with mutual respect, even though their definition of pain is very personalized .. they somehow agree on middle ground... that they both have come across the emotions of , despair, rejection, i.e pain in their lives.

Naku in all honesty identifies his weakness ~ rage.. like a good counsellor she provides a solution ..now the question is will Dutta be able to identify Nakusha's strength?...

Precap : Roops looks at the folded yellow sari and exclaims, wow Tai what a pretty sari! She is about to feel the texture.. Kala says stop! this sari is for Supriya vahini , today she will wear it.. Roops says so?. Kala holds up a poison phial and replies.. so! if you touch it you'll die ,it has poison on it..

NB.. Yes bart, Dutta with blinkers on annoyed me too.. every word of Kala seems correct.. I agree that Kishore is a weak character, afraid of putting his hand up and be counted... takes clout.Many thanks for reading previous wu.. dilse, warrie, tammy, twinky, fiz, ivy.
