First of all thanks for the annotated. I like you choice you really did pick old is gold. Poor naku not only did she fell hard for him but also having dreams too. even after she founds that he is to marry and her aayi try to stop her she still had feeling for her saab.

,there was so much interest & excitement ,with lead intoduce & his fly ,the 3 witches who conned their don brother😆

naku was awestruck just like most of us😆

the story took good turn only after dutta & fly entry ..missing everything abt ltl

hey hammie once again very interesting scenes picked up ...nakku was awestruck n drooling over dutta just the way we used to do ..such was the charm and persona of him ..even he seemed quite impressed with her n went ahead to compliment her fearless act of saving his life at that very point i had hoped she'd told him all about morey and his evil intentions ..alas but then that was expecting a little too much from the cv's ..wouldn't want to comment on those blood sucking sisters ..nakku got smitten by him so early that she even started dreaming about him ..lol..at that point i had thought , yeh ladki bahut tez hai ..lol..

enjoyed the scenes and your take on them

Heavily loaded writing my God! hammie, i had to reread every sentence to get the hang of it. itne pade likhe nahi hai hum, reham kar 😉 It was as if i was doin PHD in Queen,s English...

Him acknowledging naku,s brave act never meant he had any feelings for her other than gratitude n respect, yet she lets her dreams take wings

Particularly liked his words when he says, "sabka koi na koi raaz hota hai, mera bhi hai etc.." It speaks volumes of his character. Its not as if she is an ordinary maid and he the Master will throw his weight around. Again in the end he is forthright n honest when he praises her cooking efforts.

Babi with all her quirky habits is a hardworking brave n loving parent, unfortunately carrying the bagage of a wasteful of an husband. Her delight in the kitchen was innocence personified, simple people comin into contact with a rich powerful household, this is what i call shocked n awed, cant let go of the army lingo... 😉 Ganpat the misfit ironically for me brings a comical element to the foreboding heavy atmosphere of PN. Baji bajii the most luved character is full of life n energy. A perfect contrast to the sober withdrawn dutta.

God! the evil trio, these are the women who have brought scorn on the entire female species for the kitchen politics they indulge lol.. Kala, the smooth sweet talker, slithering her way into every person,s life spewing venom. Wow! what magnificient evil piece. Love to hate her. Whats wrong with leela that she cant keep her lashing tongue in check, but what idioms she doles out to babi.. Plz take that bachi roops out of this co., she would be rehabilitated n reformed easily.

It was time for a reality check for the drooling dreamy naku when the silent assasin supriya is introduced. What a crash landing bechari had lol.. But sups welcome was dhamakedaar, badi ayi puran poli leke,😳 wwf style. AS is bang on when she says Naku is far better than the useless BGs. So we get to know that our introvert is silently eyeing supriya n is all set to commit. But what a crushing of dreams naku faces. Yeh toh hona hi tha...sigh!

All the time when AS was drooling about the alliance to naku it was strange to see dutta stand like a statue, apne aap ko kuch zyada hi serious leliya tha. Later his staring of supriya eewww!

lost all my apetite for the day, sic!

Very soon naku is reconciled to the reality when she recollects all that happened was a mere act of kindness and the vast difference in stature, class etc.. was overwhelming to ignore.

Hammie this is turning out to be a refreshing review of LTL1, you could easily call this "LTL Revisited" n naku is right, you were born to write, so as well might carry on mate.. plzz do continue and dont worry my request can wait.
