first of all great risk by channel n producer to make show which was out of the box...LTL was first show i watched becoz of its uniqueness...

[DD] I am or rather was a fanatic Indian show viewer, but I know many on this forum who commenced their Indian show journey with and because of LTL...and since no other show satisfied their high expectations, they went back to their real life!! 😊

no saas bahu drama no common issues like other shows⭐️... not only "AYE LADKI " ... but also "aye naku " or "BAJI GADI NIKAL" keep echoing in my mind.😆..i would love to see LTL sequel on if mishal is there ... he is reason for watching ltl off-course..😳😉with some new talent and brand new plot ...

[DD] Yeah, I want LTL Sequel with Mishal and only Mishal!! There can be no other Dutta. Not disrespecting Shabbir, he is an awesome actor, but we were spoilt by Mishal and it wasn our fault too... All Mishal's fault for spoiling us!! 😛

😉mishal leaving show was biggest damage ... song sequence make show go up by some influencing factors ... like actor ...requirement of scene...song choice..well for me music is really effecting medium if it used intelligently ..at end its directors choice and policies...music can make scene up but actor should be strong to grip plot n scene..unless its like watching blank faces with background music...🤢...

[DD] Yes, the scene gets a 10er if it has it all - actors, song, dialogues, timing, direction, camera angle etc... but say the actor isnt the best in the field, or even above avg, than i guess the song can salvage some... There are scenes I have watched in other shows, where the actor was good, delivered his part right but the song was a total mismatch...the song was epic but the star's dialgue, his style, looks, expressions were modern!!!... Just didnt gel... made it more funny...

yes Indian audience is quite a old school ...so scene should be keeping both parent n youngsters in mind...that what LTL did keeping balancing between romancing n story line...everyone LTL with so much ease ..NO EXTRA ROMANCING FOR TRPS...sweet n simple ...i love it the way it was..
i wished CV could have done search on forum while letting mishal leave😡... whole disaster would have been stop...

[DD] Well, CVs knew what ppl hough about Mishal's departure... There were numerous false alarms or rather trailers before he actually left...and in each instance, the viewers raised their voice, but the office politics stampeded everything... the PH was ready to shelf the show than have Mishal... Different ball game...

well forum are limiting number of people there are tons audience around whole world...yes they should take views from forums and i know there are doing it time to time now... at end writers n other artist should not bend there own creativity... i know how a artist n others departments work for show handle that much of pressure ... its hard to work when anyone one got so much input..if writers wouldn't have think out of box ..we could have missed the EPIC LTL ...i think nowadays audience is mature enough of to give chance to talent n creativity... when people accept the show then sudden change in cast can cause bashing off course...at end both matter equally but i like to give little edged to creativity,,,😳

[DD] Exactly my views!!!... First the variety in feedback, the quantity of feedback, the quality of feedback and worst of it, the forum doesn represent the sample of the entire population... you listen to one person, decide ur track and the whole India doesnt like it... there ur TRPs go down the drain and believe me, I have seen this many a times... Moreover, sometimes, reading the feedback can make u doubt your own instincts... I know this Brilliant American show, where the wrier visited the forum, read a review and was so perturbed that he changed his storyline...he then decided to never read any forum posts and trust his story... The story is simply brilliant!!!

The other shows didn't have Suds, did they? see, LTL did. Okay, kidding...but seriously, LTL did come up with better villains then other shows. I think that was a plus. And that thing about it being based on a true story was intriguing.

2. What would you wanna see in LTL Sequel?

Excessive fainting from you know who.

bodyguards who think they're just here for a cup of tea.
Talk...talk...talk. And no action. *cough* *Kishore* *cough*

[DD] 🤣 By joe, u have revived my memories like noone else... you know, I would fwed all Babi n Nakku's scene bacuse they were 8-13 mins long with palu in mouth, Aayi boli talks, which were enlightening n profound initially n got monotonous in the end, but I never wanted Babi to leave...she was Naku's very big strength!!! I would have wanted more sound advise, more strength and short scenes but no Babi wasnt the solution...

and the guards, I havent seen a single fight where Dutta didnt save the whole show - he saved his family, servants, guards and Baaji, singlehandedly... what were they exactly for? dada giri and haftaa?? 😉...Don accessories!!

Now having gotten that out of my system, I admit there's plenty I do want to see. Too many to put down so I'll just give one: I'd love to see someone who is a girl in Baaji's life who is not like a sister to him. 😉

4. How much does a touching song help a touching scene elevate? On a scale of 1-10 with ten being the highest, I say anywhere between 1-10. Is a touching song mandatory for a soul ripping scene or optional? It's absolutely optional. Good dialogue and great acting are enough to rip my soul out. 😆 Would it help the scene from sinking if the actors are not doing justice? It would have all my attention since I'd be listening to the song and ignoring the scene. In a way it helps since I won't be turning it off.

[DD] 😆😆... Now, I wanna watch the LTL legendary scenes and hear the background music...I wanna draft their formula!!!

5. Lately, CVs surfing around forums have become fab. They want to hear the audience verdict. How much should a CV take inputs from the forum members? Take all the input they want...just make sure the story will still make sense. Should he decide the story line based on the forum inputs? No. They should use their imagination to come up with good story lines instead of just feeding the fantasies of their viewers. Every audience appreciates a good show. Should he decide complete future track based on the member's suggestion or should he still trust his creativity? Of course he should trust his creativity...that's not to say that he ignore what could be a wonderful track suggested by a member. Smart creatives will recognize a good idea when they come across it. What model do you like - "complete surrender to Forum's feedback" or "Read, listen but trust your instincts and creative juices" Definitely the latter model.

Anyways, lack of Indian television in my life (Is there anything to watch?? 😲), and reminiscing LTL days, while driving my train of thoughts travel in loads of direction and I brooded a lot on why LTL was special...what made it stand out... and I had to discuss it with my ever brooding buddies... So, put on ur thinking caps and tell me -

1. How did LTL stand out from other super hit shows in Indian Industry

for me it was the story , concept was strong where its every thing about beauty , coming up with an ugly lead heroine and falling it love with the character .

one thing i adore is perfect cast ,everyone was amazing but Mishal and AShka were like real Dutta and kala for me ,

2. What would you wanna see in LTL Sequel?

HMM not sure if i really wnat a sequel but i would love to see Mishal as Dutta and may be all the story from Dutta point of view .

3. What was that one moment when LTL started taking a downhill? (Please no bashing, just 1 sentence desc)

For me it was news of leaving Mishal :(and of course the seema / blind track ,

didnt really like it .

well a good song definitely helps but actors need to do theie job warna sab kuch bekar hai,

hmma song for me is optional , even the actor is expressing everything i need no song ,

my heart beat will it self make a rhythm with expressions

well i think they should stick to their story only if they have a full story in their mind , for me anything is fine jab tak it is well written , well executed well acted !
