With you Baljit...we are his true fans...not switching to other shows or actor...bec we believe that Mishal is the best.

And trying to keep the forum alive ..yes..even after 11 months after the show has ended. We hang around for the tiniest bit of news on him and share it in the forum.

Also, being a celebrity is not easy.

Yes Ivy...

Moreover... script is not in our hands... We can only speculate on the information that is available... And its only MR who can decide whether to do it or not...

He waited for 2 years after LS... and I don't think while in his absence from small screen... there was anything better than LTL he could do... So he is the better judge... We can only give our inputs on what we know...

#last offer by zee... I don't understand comparison between MR and NB...

I believe that NB is also good actor and has done good work... but he was limited to same type of roles in his last shows... whereas MR... he is such talented that its important to write a character keeping his stature in mind... then why they have choice between NB and MR... Both are very different faces of coin... As per people's input at the TB article... I agree that they can play brothers... but I don't understand what is the CV's criteria of sorting these two out...

They are already having two veteran actors... Varun Badola and Narayani Shastri... which one article (I searched at google) says that they are playing leads... 😕

I do not feel that anyone went over board with criticizing MR's look…or anything else...we where just commenting on it and discussing.

Nothing wrong with that.

We love MR as a performer and admire him as a person. We know that what ever project he do will be amazing and different. When ever there is a rumours we discus it...to find out how much true there is in it…that all.

I agree…we are his true fans…we are still here and keeping the forum alive and waiting for his come back.

PDH anniversary bash

His clean shaven look, which shocked many but don't you think he was looking so young and fresh (tempting like amul butter)? He has worked so hard for his company and was enjoying himself after bagging such an important Tom Cruise contract, didn't he deserve to celebrate the way he wished? His majenta shirt was just a way of expressing how care free he was feeling then. I am sure you will agree with me that he was entitled to let his hair down even if his new hair cut was not approved by many, we all like to experiment with our looks without caring much about the latest fashion trends, so if he did the same then why were we reacting so strongly? Just because he is a celebrity that doesn't give us the birth right to critically analyze his dressing sense. Instead of being happy with his success we were busy making fun of him. I would like to add a song here " chand mein daag hai ye jaante hain hum lekin..raat bhar dekhe bina usko rahaa nahin jaata." i can't remember coming across any member bashing MR's look😕, but i wud agree with ur comment tht evry1 experiments with their looks...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't so y diss mishal for experimenting summut evry common man/woman does...at the sme time its no big deal if an actors look isnt appreciated by evry1 so i wudnt say sum1 is less of a fan becos they didnt like their fav actor's hair style🤔 i think thts a bit too harsh... u shud b allowed 2 say u didnt like mishal's hair if u didnt like it, without the fear of being questioned as 2 whether or nt ur a tru fan..having said tht i wud prefer ppl criticise carefully...it shudnt b too insulting/offending...

Mishal being considered for shivaji's role

Although it has been finalized that he is not playing that role but still when the news broke we all started jumping and screaming that he should not accept the role cause it was color's show without thinking how potentially strong that character is? how well he would have portrayed it? The channel which had not treated him well was now thinking on going back to him and not vice versa. Also I feel had he accepted to work with the channel again then this time he would have done on his own terms and conditions then it would have been a tight slap on the channel's face, doesn't it say how well secured he is as an actor? People's reactions on this topic/news was quite expected...colors ruined out fav show and character by getting rid of MR, y on earth wud they bring him bk in another shw...personally i dnt want MR 2 return with ne of Colors show becos i want colors as a channel 2 fail...dey played with our emotions..and made us all fools by thinking tht MR wud remain a part of the shw...dey dnt deserve an actor like Mishal and they dnt deserve us as viewers...believe it or nt bt im the happiest wen i hear Colors is losing trps n tam ratings as weeks go by...it gives me immense satisfaction after all the torture they made us go thru since december 2010 up until march 2011 wen mishal left

His favourite denim shirt

Now what do I say about it? Agreed he has repeated it quite often and as a celebrity he is not supposed to do that but still does it really matter so much to us? Cant we be content with the fact that at least he is making regular public appearances, giving interviews even if the shirt is the same? How can we ignore that he is been invited for various public functions? How can we overlook his smile, his enthusiasm while giving interviews and pin point that he is not changing his shirt? I seriously fail to understand and mind you don't you think he looks great in that shirt? So if he does then what's the harm in repeating it? Ok on this 1 i so agree...and i wud like 2 ask those tht think he wore the shirt too much that do u wear an outfit once/twice n thn throw it away? ofcourse u dnt...evry human being repeats der outfits...n dey do hav a fav tht they love 2 wear mre often, hence mishal's may b tht shirt...no offence 2 ne1 bt seriously der was no need 2 throw sum comments on him wearing da same shirt...

His latest appearance at the school function

Again the same thing happened, instead of seeing how excited he was during the show, how bright and cheerful he was during the interview we were more busy checking out his pony tail, his squinted eyes, his tired looks without thinking that even though he was worn out still he was so charged up and happy. His infectious smile was overshadowing his squinted eyes which might have been cause of bright light, who knows? We were waiting anxiously for someone to post the links but what for? Just to criticize him once again? What he does with his looks its his personal choice, why do we have to give our expert opinions, do we ask his while getting dressed? No nah? i for one wasn't one of those and cos i didnt c the comments i cnt reali say bt i wud like 2 make a request 2 those tht decide 2 criticise tht they shud b careful with the words they use n ensure it doesnt offend us other fans becos its reali nt nice 2 hear bad words being sed abt ur actor as it makes it seem ur making fun of him which may not go to well with hard core fans.

He and neil being considered for the new show

Not surprisingly this time again we are all out that he should not take up that woman centric show forgetting that even LTL was once a woman centric show but it changed completely once he made an entry. i disagree here, LTL was a male centric show...a lot of focus was on dutta... yes the story was abt naku bt dutta was a huge centre lead... evn the shw producers had sed it at the time... tht yes the story is abt nakusha bt its also abt dutta...i found mst of the storylines focussed around dutta than they did of naku...We have absolutely no clue as to what the exact storyline is, how important the male character is? Does the show has anything new to offer in terms of its treatment? Is it a story about a young boy falling for an elder woman? We really don't know what the show is all about but we surely know that he should not accept the role cause whatever information TB has given we feel that the role is not meant for him once again calling the shots on his behalf even though in the past TB has ended up giving false information. I understand we want the best for him and don't want him to make any mistake but what we are forgetting is that he cant hit every ball for a six but at least we can let him play freely. Without knowing what the future hold for him we are getting so cautious and pessimistic that we don't encourage him try anything. Also if some members wish that he accepts the role we with our negative comments bring their morale and spirits down. Now as per his latest tweet he might not accept this role too but then does it really matter, again when some news will come about his new offer we will instead of supporting him and relying on his judgement will declare and reject the role before him ignoring the fact that some people desperately want to see him back and such news information bring a ray of hope and smile on their faces.

I agree we all are entitled to our opinions but why do we have to be always negative with our views, if we cant say something nice then cant we be silent for some time and let others who are happy, enjoy themselves. Let him live peacefully and as per his wishes. While expressing our honest opinions we sometimes hurt those who don't feel the same as we do. I am not saying that we shouldn't criticize but we can definitely highlight what is positive and good around instead of always being demoralizing. We all want him to comeback but when the atmosphere is so sad and heavy then why would he return and what for? To listen to how critically his each and everything is analysed? My favourite forum has turned so silent and gloomy these days that even though people are making efforts to keep it alive this negativity is hampering their efforts. I remember a song which goes something like this ," ghar se masjid hai bahut door chalo yun kar lein .. ek rote hue bacche ko hasaya jai." I hope you understand what I am trying to say, lets spread happiness and positivity around. Lets be a little large hearted and open minded. Lets be a little more sensitive towards other's feelings and opinions before expressing our's.

I don't mind if nobody here agrees with me but all this criticism was getting on to my nerves and I for once had to let it out. Me being an optimist and cheerful person was finding it hard to cope up with all this, hope you understand, leaving the rest upto you to decide.

Hurt and disappointed yet cant stop loving this forum

Rose

my comments in pink... i wud request users 2 pls b careful with the words they use 2 criticise cos sumtimes the words can b offending... i personally love mishal for his acting n the personality we see in interviews, never hav i seen any such interview or pic wer i hav sed "oh my days wt on earth is he doing or wearing?" and hpe i never do...don't know abt others bt i love u mishal...one of ur craziest fans eva n w8in 4 ur cum bk😳

I couldn't agree more with Ksh on this.

I have to mention here and it may be a bit tangential, but nevertheless still relative to the question at hand...in my opinion or understanding, when I am a 'fan' of someone, it means that I hold that person's work in very high regard and esteem...when I say I am a fan of someone, it means that I respect their talent and that a piece of work they are doing or have done in the past has deeply touched or resonated with me. It extends solely and singly to the body of work and talent that I recognize. That is what I respect and admire, not the actors or actresses themselves as people. I do not sign up to be their agent, manager, publicist or even a chamcha who will stand by them in all that they do, be it right or wrong, come rain or fire. Because to be very honest, once again in only my humble opinion which many might disagree with, being a fan of a PERSON whom we don't personally know of, just based on a character they have played on a visual medium is not only illogical but very odd. When we start mooning over someone without even knowing how that person is in their day to day demeanour...or when we start defending that person as if they can do absolutely no wrong because of a sense of 'loyalty' we feel towards them...that type of person worshipping is not only highly misplaced but also faulty.

We grow up in life and even are taught educationally to perceive things with a thinking and critical mind...the point is not to criticize or look for something amiss in the things around us, or in the papers we read, or in the people we meet or hear or read or talk about...the point is to develop that trait of being able to think for yourself. Then why, if we admire someone's work or even their personality if it may be so, should we stop thinking for ourselves or offering what we might feel about a situation? As long as it is done sincerely, truthfully and presented in a civilized manner, I see absolutely no harm, and in fact actually the presence of an open environment in which people are free to express what they feel.

With MR fans especially, I don't think this is a problem...most of us are vocal about our opinions with regards to him, which is only naturally valid and well. As long as it is not done with ill-intention, I ask again...what is the harm? If someone says that MR may read it by some chance and feel slighted...well then, the world is a big playground...and it's not always goodness, praises and all the other rosy things in the world for every kid, who has to go out and step into it at one time or another...be it him or any other random person walking on the road, we have to face up to our part of criticism and take into account other people's opinions to evolve and grow as human beings. It is not a bad process, to be the critically thinking person or the one at the receiving end. It is natural, only instinctual...a learning curve.

And suppose even if we say for a minute...that yes, we shouldn't extend criticism to someone who we are fans of on the merit of being 'true fans'...then what is the limit for that? When and how do we define something that is worthy of criticism and something that is not? Once you turn off your mind or personal opinion for the sake of being a true or supportive fan...you risk being blind-sided about things that you would otherwise find different with your sense of reasoning intact. Take the example of Karan Singh Grover's fans for a moment...they became such true and honest fans of their favourite indeed that even when he was found as responsible of something despicable like three timing his wife, dance partner and co-actress, they continued being as madly infatuated with him as they were on first day. And their reasoning was that it was his 'personal life'...that they were no one to judge, that it didn't reflect or leave any stain on what they thought of him or the part he was playing on screen. For them, it was only la la land. Who cares about reality? As long as they can exist in the fantasy of whatever it is that they belong to in their heads...it really didn't matter. I honestly ask anyone in this forum or even on IF...what does that say about a person who thinks as such? How much has their personal opinion, instinctual reasoning and moral epicentre deteriorated to make them a 'true fan'...when they cannot even think right from wrong any more in lieu of being 'never changing' and upstanding supporters of a person or cause, anything on this planet, which is susceptible to error?

So if MR fans give their opinions...let them. It shows that they are thinking people rather than blind supporters. That is something to be appreciated, not a problem or issue.

A very thought provoking and comprehensive understanding of a " True Fan " 👍🏼. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Enjoyed reading it thoroughly.
