@ Ani
" So when did Dutta fell in love with Naku or realize he had deep feelings for her?

For me it happens when he thought he had lost her and saw her at Anna's house."

Me second that Ani. Will come back with the details later.
Good night😊

How on earth does a Born Protector of the Weak like Dutta Bhao drag a meek housemaid to the mandap & forcefully marry her gunpoint?😲 How does a man who values family above everything else make the worst nightmare of every girl's parents come true right in front of their eyes? This is the man whose life changed after watching girls like Nakusha forcibly sent into lives of pure hell as bonded sex slaves as per BB's story.Never in a million years would he do the same to another girl.
And why would a shrewd & immensely perceptive gangster like him would even be thinking of punishment in the first place?😕 Who, for that matter, in their right mind would believe someone like Nakusha is capable of planning the fleeing of a dreaded mobster's fiancee with her paramour, planting bombs in cars, liasing with hitmen, arranging for dead bodies with a government run mortuaries?😲😕🤔

That track was in complete conflict with the character of DSP as portrayed uptil then.

DSP would have thrown the entire Mahale family out on the streets. That would have been his max punishment even if he was somehow convinced of his maid's culpability. That dramatic marriage though visually entralling, was completely uncalled for.

I fully agree with Fivr that Patil Saab never had any hidden or misguided feelings for Nakusha that ultimately culminated in that farce wedding.Nor that he didn't want let go of her.The track was invented to raise the TRPs by trying to interest the general soap watching crowd with the promise of 'fullto" entertainment in the form of "Shaadi at Gunpoint".😆

i agree wid u :) even i think its no logic but my pov to find some logic in it is only tht he wanted naku to see his evil side mebbe so that she regret helping sups but then all u said is true ab D belvng Naku can so all tht lol. + i think its not just BB's story bt even in show they showed D getting attackd by that desmuk man in starting only for girls trade. march 25epi 2010 he fight desmuk & they talk abt girls trade. in BB thread i read when naku says to Sp abt that attack on night they met was cos he was not allowing girls trade to some other don so i went & saw that epi again lol & true that attack ws by desmuk only & D goes wid Baji laer to killl desmuk also..so then why did he humilate naku & babi so badly :( :(

bumbleebee and Zuby...I get your point and you are kind of right.😊

But I believe that the reason Dutta let it go so far…was that it was just to much for him. Supriya's betrayal….Naku's betrayal….Kala's manipulations and then it was one blow after another…well planed by Kala…in the end I think Supriya's letter did the trick.

If you think about how much it took him to trust Supriya…take her hand and the dreams and hopes. Naku keep pushing him toward Supriya and then finding out that she was behind it.

About humiliating Naku…why not…he was humiliated in front of everyone by…who he thought was his best friend.

I think at that time it was also about showing who Dutta bhau is….again he was mostly punishing himself than Naku.

@red... I totally agree to this point that he was himself very badly humiliated... in front of everyone... the circumstances created by kala... only were pointing at Nakku being reason of his humiliation...

I agree that he
never had any hidden or misguided feelings for Nakusha... but he unknowingly bonded to her emotionally ... otherwise... why would he open his heart out to a mere maid... telling her his past...

He was just and fair don... but at that time he was totally broken and his inner self was wounded... he was shrewd and perceptive... but he had failed somewhere when it came to relationships... he could not figure out character of Seema / Supriya... he couldn't figure out what his sisters were doing under his nose... he couldn't judge his jija Suds' character... So he was strong and very decisive to the outer world... but he was not good at judging every person in his relationship... he believed what he was shown... All due to his emotional bonding with his relatives... Same was with Nakusha... he had emotionally bonded with her... His decision power limited to what he was shown... I agree that for one time Baji believed that how Nakusha can do so... but his AS being witness to the culprits asking for Nakusha... and Kala's persistent act to create circumstances against Nakusha... made him believe that Nakusha could do such thing... here Supriya and her BG were also in picture... Not to forget that Ravinder was able to play with Dutta's trust under his nose... So the Supriya's elopement was none in a way successfully executed by only Nakusha...
Only thing was those two were able to flee and Nakusha was left as bali ka bakra...

So how much a person is cool minded, shrewd and perceptive... the decision making power is hindered due to broken and wounded inner-self... publicly humiliation
, series of betrayals...

Dutta's complex character - a unique mixture of predominantly positive characteristics, some insecurity and a few flaws is what makes him so real, endearing and close to our heart !
