A TALE OF TWO WEDDINGS! Deepika Samson and (inset) Avika Gor in Sasural Simar Ka WHAT WAS HOT Sasural Simar Kas recent wedding track has been quite gripping.No wonder the ratings have gone up from 3 to 3.4.The drama,where Simars younger sister sits in the mandap in her place and the various events that happen thereafter,has clearly worked for the show.This serial failed to impress audiences when it started a few months ago,but now its steadily trying to make its way up.So what if the track is totally unrealistic and over-dramatic,its still grabbing eyeballs! Lets wait and watch if they are able to sustain this upswing in the weeks to come. Shabbir Ahluwalia and (inset) Mahhi Vij in Laagi Tujhse Lagan WHAT WAS NOT Laagi Tujhse Lagan had its high point recently where Nakusha is getting married to Deegu and Duttabhau comes just in time.It was supposed to be a scene as significant as Mihir Virani returning from the dead just when Tulsi is tying the knot (in the popular Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi).But Laagis episode seemed like it was just another track! The chemistry between the new Duttabhau and Nakusha isnt good enough.Clearly Shabbir hasnt made an impact as Duttabhau so far.Anyway rarely have replacements worked in the past and this is yet another case. |
