For the first time Dutta Shriram Patil ka one of the best laid plans bit the dust.

Woh bhi apne hi Sasuma ke haathon Mamu banke!!!!!

Lets not beat about the bush here...

Its no state secret ki Patil Niwas ka gourmet record kuch khas nehi hai,.aur yehi sachchai hai.

Uss ghar ka dono beta zyadatar bahar jaake goli khana pasand karta hai,

pann ghar lautke khana khana nehi.

Jab kabhi unko saamne bhari hui thal mil bhi jaaye, toh bhi ya toh bina khaye nikal padhta hai, ya phir mushkil se ek-do morsel muh mein dalta hai. Mind you, morsels...pura ek roti bhi nehi.

That should speak volumes for the quality of food served but I will place a few more proof.

1. Kala, while detailing out the food preferences of the family to Babi and Naku on their first day of work...had said..."Bhau? Arre woh toh mushkil se kuch khata hai."

2. The only thing Dutta is on record to have eaten completely is Rasgulla and Rasmalai..stuff that can be bought from a mithai shop.

3. Aayisaheb ki baat baat pe annya-jal tyagne ki bahane...

4.The preference of the three sister's for Champagne compared to solid food.

Aise mein PN mein Babi ka entry hua.

Babi, jiski banayi hui biriyani ke tarif karte More jaisa insaan bhi kabhi nehi thaka!!

So if to Dutta Babi's cooking felt like manna straight from heaven, can anybody blame him?

After Babi came we at least saw him willfully sit down at the khane ka maze.

And can anybody blame him for regretting the fact that Babi's daughter despite all her ABC skills is not as culinari-ly efficient as her mother?

I know you will produce argument in the shape of the dinner cooked by Naku post the Anna track jo khake Dutta had said...usske haath ka kha ke aaj pet bhar gaya...

Please remember, Babi was present at the kichen throughout then. So her masterly touches cannot be discounted.

Here I would like to quote the famous jungle-mein-halwa sequence to bring home my point...

Agreed, in that episode, Dutta had feasted on the halwa with a golden smile (and we..ahem... feasted on the delectable Dutta) But I have a strong suspicion Dutta was more interested at nimbling on Naku's fingers than on the sugar free halwa itself.

And later that taste must have convinced him of Naku's short commings.

That Dutta longed for Babi's cooking had become apparent right after Babi and co left PN.

Remember, how during the Suresh fiasco Dutta would stoically refuse all food?

Dutta had long back understood, allowing Babi to leave was his biggest mistake.And in episode 400 he accepts his mistake... "Tumcha naahi mazha chukla aahe...Galat mujhse hua hai Maushi..."

And Babi seeing the Gajar ka halwa wala bati reflected in his eyes..understood... "maafi mere ko dijiye Bhau... aapke jeevan ka wo toofan meri wajah se aaya Bhau..." indicating to his bhookh hartal days.

Well. if you will remember that day, chand episodes pehle jab Naku ne Dutta ke bahon ke ghere mein se annkhen uthake poocha tha..Bhookh lagi hai Saab? And how Dutta went on to rave about Babi.

Ussi din se usne yeh plan banake rakha tha...It was full proof. Look at the Date selection, at the timing, at the almost ambush like surprise element involved for Babi.

And the ultimate Jawai brahmastra!!!! If there ever was a well laid plan, this was it.

Even Naku knew it. She was hurt definitely, but had accepted it as Dutta's wish...

Initially, jab Pune mein Dutta had dropped the hint..."aaj kuch maang..." expecting her to say Aayi ko wapas lao Saab, She had smartly sidestepped the issue. But later realised the futility of it all.

Scene 1, epi 399, just before first break.."Dutta sees her trying to hide her wincing expression.' Warna Itne dino baad apne Aayi aur bhai se milke woh wince kyon karegi bhala? and later tells Babi, "Tu pyaar se jo bhi khilayegi, Saab dil se khayenge."

So apparently when Dutta said, "maine tay kiya hai ki aaj aap sab humare saath Ghar chalenge..wapas...sab kuch pehle ki tarah hoga..." toh the done thing would have been for Babi to give the thumbs up..hai na? I mean can anybody imagine her refusing Dutta under normal circs?

Pann nei, aisa hua nei...kyonke lappy ko jo manzur nehi tha!!!!

The lappy, apne settlement ke chackckar mein pressure tactics liya.

Dutta ne jab kaha ke..

"aap mujhse bejhijhak aakar kahiye...Duttabhau se nehi...apne jawai se..."

the very next sentence that lappy made Babi say was...

"Aap dil pe koi bojh mat rakhklho Bhau..."!!!

I mean bachche ko darane ka bhi koi limit hota hai ke nei!!!!!!!!!

Dutta ko yun seedha cross roads pe lake khada kar dena!!!!!!...

Ya toh achcha khao, ya Naku ka Mamu bano.

Usse phir se khane per compromise karna pada.

Now tell me,

lappy ka problem kya hai?

If its an out of court settlement that it so badly wants, please tell lappy ki iss tarah ka arm twisting tactics chod de.

Kyon ke my conditions are simple,

a) Ravindra ji ka salamati ki khabar mile.

b) DuJi hugs ka numbers aur frequency badhe.

And even though it kills me to see Dutta Sriram Patil fail...My conditions remain ATAL.

Kaise? yeh toh mujhe samjhao? Ravindra ji le gayab hone ke din se le ke aaj tak DuJi bas ek hi date pe gaya tha...woh bhi meeting ke liye...baki time toh TaSha hardly came out of their rooms!!!

Baji eyes rightfully widened into that very eloquent "Abey".

But the truth is, this forced dooriyan is taking their toll on both of them.

Look at Baji...ek toh Ravindra ji ke bone-ash wala fitur uske dimag mein baith gaya hai.

Upar se Madhu ko 'item' bol dala!!!!!!

I mean we know our Baji right?

Mana, ke bolne ke maamle mein woh tez hai...pann aisi shabd?

Jis shabd ka istemal kahi aur hone ke wajah se Dinya ka judwa bhai puri IF mein baadnam hai...apna Baji waisa Shabd bolega...woh sahi maine mein apni senses mein hota toh Madhu ko kabhi Item nehi bulata!!! Just goes to show..how deeply affected he is.

Aur Dutta...he has almost lost it. Har taraf, har kisise, har minute mein maafi maang raha hai...

I mean I can hardly recognise him these days...

He is now so desperate ki ussne kaha hai lappy hi lappy ko katega.

I hear, Anna track ke baad khali baitha apna yantra mein Dutta ne ek 'Maafi' folder banaya hai.

Bahuton ka naam hai jis list mein...

and it goes...

1. Naku ke puja thali..maine usse ekbar jor se patka tha.

2. Cell phone...main hamesha usse patak deta hoon.

3. Balu dada ke chat ke teen tali...gusse mein andha hoke maine unhe chot pauchayee.

4. Mandir ke pas wala ped...Dinya ko thokte waqt uss nirdosh ko lag gaya tha.

5. Pistols...bina unke ijazat liye maine unka istemal kiya.

6. Bar...maine aapko na jane kitni bar tehes-nahas kiya...

...iske baad pehli shaadi ke raat jo jo item usne toda tha...

Agar Baji se sachcha pyar karti ho toh Lappy ko samjhao...

Its high time Lappy realised the true depth of the DuJi bond!!!!!
