But I cannot forget how Roops went into elaborate dramatics to phasao Baji acting all repentant when actually she was laying a trap as per Kala's wishes...

Jab Kala confessed that she had indeed tried to kill Dutta and put them under house arrest only then did the two change...may be they finally realised Kala had only her own ambitions at heart or may be finally they were rid of the fear of Kala ?

no i dnt think they were scared of kala ,,ya she was dominant of them all and being the eldest they just accpted it , i thnnk and more so ever they were not the dominant kinds ,,even if they were elders they would have dne wht they did , she was dominating but i think she never showed them how cruel she can get to be ..like ,, i dnt thnk they were scared ,,then

I agree with this a lot. 👍🏼 I'll post something that I posted something in another thread. Kala is really an amazing mainly because of the amount of control she has on these katputalis aka her sisters, Kishore, Suds and more importantly Dutta...the kind of power she possess, her competency to manipulate, to mold the people, the situation to her needs yet maintaining this guileless face in front of others without revealing too much...just being so fearless of the consequences of her words, her actions when it comes to these four especially. Really an art that this woman has at what she does best. 👏 I think Leela and Roops were probably smart enough to realize that if Kala is able to hold a person like Dutta in her mutthi then woh dono kis khet ki mooli hain. 😆 Hence, the part where they became the partners in crime and thought it was the best thing to do. Also AS's lack of strong, disciplined upbringing plays a role in this mess...and moreover, the sisters assumed that Dutta was so blinded by his sisters' 'love' that he wouldn't see past their fake, happy smiles and would not be able to come to terms with ET's reality. So it would have been like sone par suhaaga wali baat with Kala on their side and Dutta being a gadha not suspecting them! 😆 And yes, the fear was there...maybe not so much visually on their faces but in their thoughts at least. Who wouldn't be fearful?...they saw Kala execute her dangerous plans with regards to Dutta and the women in his life...that alone, I would say, probably made the two fearful of her for it they could be the next one in line if they went against her wishes.

i'd giv high credit to AG for enacting the role of kala... she's dne an amazing job...i loved her acting/performance in the 5th feb special epi...AG stole the shw in tht epi

but look at this way since we talking abt mahabharata . it was all destined , it was "karma' .. Arjun was to be born skilled n blessed and Karan was to be born Skilled .. the entire play in mahabharat by the creator was all based on KARMA .. .. each person had a role to play and die after paying for his deeds and karma
