Nice post...........But not fair to stop at 5 scenes :)
I will try to post the ones that I recall from memory........I know if I start to watch a few scenes, it will end up being more than a few....... :)
1. The first one is obviously a tasha scene, For some reason, I like the scene when Nakku comes to return the mangalsutra......he was already standing lost in his thoughts and when Nakku comes and calls him "Saab", and he instinctively says 'Hmm..", at that instant it felt like there was nothing wrong between the 2, it was as if he had responded to the old nakku, and the next second he realizes that Nakku is there and looks up....... It was done so naturally, I keep wondering to this day if MR did an improvisation on that scene, or was it scripted that way. Not a big scene, but somehow its always been one of my favorites.
2. The scene during the DP track........on the sea shore, a drunk dutta talking to baaji....... loved that scene, MR potrayed the emotions of a person who was hurt, angry, sad, lost, frustrated Amazingly. His talk with baaji was very emotional....especially when he says..... he wanted to give Baaji his dad's name, but he was not even aware of his dad till today, his whole identity was changed, was lost. And loved this dialogue, MR has a wonderful voice modulation, "mein teek hai baaji, dekh, dekh, mere paaw zameen par tike hai, saala aaj pairo thale zameen kisak gayi yaar' and especially when baaji says "ghar chal" ,his expression after he asks "Ghar ?" questioningly, with that sarcastic smile...... was amazing......."kya teek hoyga baaji, kya mein waapis ayi saheb ka beta banunga ?" as so childlike yet so painful. and then finally, one of my favorite dialogues , "Chabeez saal baad, mere aankho ke saamne se yeh andhera hata hai," then he points to the dark night and continues "mere saamne tho phir bhi andhera hai" ......We had some wonderful dialogues in that episode. Am surprised that this is not a Tasha scene, but I always thought was one of MR's Best.
3. The first wedding Track....... MR was amazing thru out this track. I know this is a track and not exactly a scene, but will try to get away with it, since it was one continues track even though it lasted almost a month. Loved his acting from the time Nakku enters the house without Supriya until he marries Nakku and takes her to the room........especially after they discover supriya's letter until Baaji gets the nariyal pani wala guy , MR did not have any dialogues....... but his acting was wonderful........he expressed so much thru his eyes and body language. I know Pooja already went thru this scene beautifully,......so will stop here.........
4. After the first wedding, when he comes back all bloodied after killing anna's men, the Tasha scene , like MR's acting in that. where he says that he is not only punishing her, but himself also.
As usual Mishal's dialogue delivery and expressions are awesome thruout the scene....but the best part of the scene when he opens his eyes and finds Nakku standing very close to him, he is surprised and shocked...followed by the very synchronised scene where he gets up and she sits down....followed by some more amzing acting, "mere andar Jhaank kar dekh, Khoon hi khoon reejhtha nazar aayega tujhe......" awesome dialogue delivery......and he realizes that seeing him in pain will be the only thing that will cause her pain, and hence that will be her punishment.
5.Finally......one of my all time favorites, I know this is a very old episode.......The bar scene of tasha after he tells her past of how he became Dutta Bhau.....this was one light hearted scenes where he pulls Nakku's leg.... "sab kuch teri aayi bathathi hai, ya, tu bhi kabhi kuch sochthi hai"....during those days, we hardly got to see Dutta laugh or smile , and in this we have him laughing at Nakku's answer to his "Tu kis mitti ki bani hai Nakku" , "Main, kaali mitti ki".....was refreshing. His hand gestures and facial expression were very subtle and effective here......and the way the scenes ends with his question to Baaji "Ab tu, yoon ruti biwi ki tarah peeche peeche chalega....?" was a nice touch.....But then in an instant he becomes all serious and in Dutta Bhau mode ..........I guess MR is the only actor on TV who can go thru a range of emotions in one scene.........
These are just a few scenes, have not even got to the scenes after second Marriage and the FR..... and the finaly reunion in the temple.........etc etc etc.........
