So,after watching today's episode this name struck me - TANAJI
Yes,i am talking about the young man who was thankful to jagtap dada for all his skills.
The title of my post has a connection with maratha history.
Just thoght of sharing with u all.
Tanaji Malusare was a renowned warrior & military leader in Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's army.He was popularly refered as - SIMHA(LION)
He is famously known for capturing the sinhgad fort.,which was earlier known as kondana fort.
This fort originally belonged to shivaji maharaj,but Udaybhan Rathod took over it forcefully.so,shivaji maharaj summoned Tanaji who BTW was attending his son's wedding,but he left the wedding & went to take over the fort once again along with his troops.He & his troops faught with Udaybhan Rathod fiercely.In this ultimate battle Tanaji lost his shield(Dhaal) ,so he tied a piece of cloth on his hand & used it as shield.He managed to fight off for quite sometime ,but ultimately lost his life.
The fort was taken over by shivaji maharaj & he renamed it from KONDANA to SINHGAD in the memory of his worrier & close friend TANAJI.
SHIVAJI's words on hearing Tanaji's death were-
GADH AALA PAN MAJHA SINHA GELA(Translation - I won the fort but lost my lion like warrior).😭
U all must be wondering why i am giving history lesson.😕I will come to the point.
The reason i wrote the history is becaz of the way Mahadevji introduced Tanaji.
He told dutta that tanaji is our sher,he has lion's heart.
So,his reference to lion & Tanaji reminded me of another Tanaji of maratha history.
Also i loved how he addressed dutta as -patilsaab with so much respect & he put his trust immediately in dutta's words.
To me,Tanaji already is looking like a trusted lieutenant in dutta's army.
I hope he along with mahadevji & other villagers help dutta in recapturing his kingdom- PATILWADI,just like TANAJI MALUSARE did for SHIVAJI.
My this post is a salute to the great warrior -TANAJI ⭐️👏
I would also like to praise CV's to use such name which has a place in history.👍🏼
Such small things only make LTL unique,it gives everyone the chance to see different aspects which apparently has no connection to the show,but yet u as a viewer can find that connecting thread.
BTW on a side note -BAJI is also the name of SHIVAJI MAHARAJ's another great warrior.He also helped in winning another fort.
I loved the name connection of historical characters & those in the show.👏
