It was never Kala's intention to kill Dutta. She truly wanted him around to be the centre of his attention. Coz there in lies her affliction, to be the centre around which D's life revolves. Usually this place is taken by a spouse in one's adult life but she can never become that so it was important for her that no one else should ascend to that position.That's when D's troubles began.When he started showing interest in women who would eventually displace her from her position.Seema,Supriya & Nakusha.Nakusha's hiding of her face gave her a solid belief that here at last D will finally be permanently cured of his desire to share his life with someone.But with the Suresh episode it was clear that a reconciliation was imminent.And that's exactly when Kala lost it completely.She will never ever regain her lost position with D.That's when she decided to kill him.He was a source of constant turmoil. her affliction reminds me of a mental disorder called Munchausen By Proxy. A person who suffers from such a disorder usually will create circumstances which will push those under their care into life threatening situations & then when an audience gathers swoop in to save her charge thus becoming a hero in the eyes of the afflicted & those present.Its usually young mothers,nurses or caregiver of elderly patients who suffer from such a disorder. I'm no medical expert & this disorder was an idea on which a crime novel was based.But I see a lot of similarities between Kala & the lead in that story.Its always been kala's ardent desire that D should look to her for every possible thing he wants or needs. I remember a spine chilling answer she had once given her sisters."Main hoon na.Main Dutta ke har zaroorat ka khayal rakhoongi.Use kisi aur aurat ki zaroorat nahi padegi." Her expression said it all.Kishore is an inconvinience Anay is a Kishore's responsibility.Her entire focus is on Dutta.During Supriya's wedding she was the one who wreaked havoc on D & she waltzed in carrying out a check in Sups room, discovering the letter, slapping & manhandling Nakku thus playing the tigress, protective sister to the hilt. Everytime there is some occasion to discipline someone on behalf of Dutta Kala zooms in to be first in line.Supriya,Nakku,Baaji,DP,Suresh & so many examples.
