Suffering from Tasha deprivation?

The trick is to keep breathing. We're almost there 😊
Just wanted to share my thoughts on today's episode.
I've to admit that I was a bit apprehensive about watching it, because the recent episodes had me so disappointed and upset. But when I heard about the "infamous phone call" finally happening, I couldn't stop myself from peeking just once. I ended up watching the episode twice.
Pros:
- In this episode, Kala took the words "cunning beep" to a whole other level. I'm proud of her. She was in character today. The whole psychological torture that she did on Naku had me cursing her all the way to Hell. Loved the scene where she swung the mangalsutra in front of Naku's face in that totally mocking gesture of hers that made me want to grab her hair and drag her across the room, caveman-style. More of that, please. The psychological torturing methods, that is.
- Naku's dialogue: "I've been through so many trials. Don't put me through this one." Brilliant. That had me in tears. Her voice was just so pleading. The way she fell to the ground and completely shut off from everything happening around her reminded me of her first wedding with Dutta - after having tried to convince everyone that she wasn't guilty of any crime for the umpteenth time, she simply gave up and let Dutta drag her around the fire.
- Kala's dialogues to Baji? She might've as well ripped his heart out and chewed it. Her words hit him hard. She knows people's weaknesses and she attacks them like the snake she is.
- FINALLY, the phone call scene. Gold. The pain in Dutta's voice and his dialogues were just so beautiful in every sense. Loved the silence between them and the unspoken need to be closer. It was obvious that they'd both reached the next level in their relationship. Now, if the wire had just been a magical transporting cable...
Cons:
- During the whole "remove her sindoor" scene, something was missing. The confrontation was not as intense as it could've been (should've been), and that disappointed me. I had expected Kala to grab Naku's hands and broken her bangles, or something, and Naku trying to release herself from her grasp. Point is, I'd expected some sort of struggle there before the "Kala removing her sindoor" part and everyone leaving.
- I was disappointed that the camera didn't zoom in on Naku's face when she pleaded with AS to not put her through this trial of removing her sindoor.
- Why on earth didn't the CVs/director or whoever involve the other characters in this scene? I mean, Kishore should've at least had a dialogue going something like: "Kala, I think that's enough," or "This isn't the right time..." Or whatever. But something. He should've said something. He has always stood up for Naku when she's been treated this way by Kala. What happened now? I also missed a stronger reaction from Baji, somehow.
- Did I imagine a girl named Madhu who was also Dutta's sister, or did she really exist? Because I didn't see her anywhere among the mourning crowd...
Basically, I think that this episode was alright. Time will tell if the CVs are on their way back to the right LTL track, or if they've strayed for good. But considering today's episode, I still have hope.
Oh, and Happy Phone Call Day, everyone 😊

Lol. Arre, if all it takes is for me to faint, I'll gladly swoon right now. Maybe add some "nahiii ab bas! Dutta aur Nakusha ko unite karo, abhi!" as I faint, for special effects.

U've said it all my dear........The part where Nakku says i've given enough tests to prove my love was heart wrenching....even i had tears in my eyes at that point. That poor girl has really gone through alot at the hands of these Pagal Niwasis😡
Also even i felt that the other family members should not have been silent spectators...it was so unnatural that Kala was over reacting and no one was trying to stop her saying that Nakku's loss is the biggest....this is not the right time to say all this or something. Rather Baji went unnecessarily defensive in trying to convince AS that he was only trying to help Nakku in calming the crowd down.
The phone call was awesome until the time they showed the useless chacha singing by himself....the song in itself was very apt.....could've been in the background........but it seemed that the chacha was upto his routine "riyaz" and singing by himself......crazy dude!!!
Loved the way D said......."tune kaha tha jub awaz donga toh aye gi....tujhe awaz sunai naheen deti'
I think the conversation would continue tomorow too and i just cant wait.to watch the two of them romancing 😳

Gah. Yeah, the Chacha singing. I hope that Naku notices that and figures that he might be in a place with old men singing. I doubt that she'll even think about the Chacha singing, but still.
YES. What was up with the silently watching crowd? I get the people were silent, but the family? I had expected, at least, Kishore to say something. He's been appearing/disappering for the past several episodes and he's such a great character. The one man in the house whom Dutta has immense respect for. I'd expected him to say something. Leela and Roops looked like they were in pain, which was enough said for me - at least they weren't backing Kala up in any way.
Baji... considering how his relationship to Naku has grown so much closer recently, I'd expected more of a defensive attitude from him as well. It was realistic that when Kala finally shut him up and asked him to stay out of the family business that he obeyed - but he didn't put up much of a fight to start with, which disappointed me. It was a bit out of character since he's always been full of strong emotions - especially when it comes to anything related to Bhao. And here his Bhao's wife was being blamed for his death.
Maybe he's confused and feeling as if he's a stranger in the house without Dutta there. But then the CVs haven't given him any real amount of screen time to show us how he's dealing with everything and what he's feeling, so who can tell?
AND WHERE IS MADHU IN ALL THIS? What, did the CVs suddenly realize that they had too many characters to juggle with or something? The focus was on Kala-Naku with a few snap-shots of the others' expressions, but there was no interaction or involvement of the other characters in any way, which surprised me.
Regardless, it was a good episode. Not great, but good.
I'm still sticking to my mantra, though: GIVE DUTTA MORE SCREEN TIME, FOR GOD'S SAKE. He's had 3 minutes, tops, in each episode, which is far from enough to show his development or journey from one state of mind to another. Gosh.

well said!!!
i think it is needless 2 say by noow dat all ov duttas scenes r portrayed by mishal to perfection...however, i do feel dat although da story is about him and nakku, other characters r given no consideration whatsoever,
storylines are started and den left halfway in between...remember da love triangle of roops-baji-madhu. wat happened der??? im sure dis is da ideal moment 4 madhu 2 comfort baji wen he has lost his closest frend...and also 4 him 2 comfort her at having lost her last blood family....and den roops trying to interfere therefore leading da storyline 2 more satisfying and dramatic consequences....BUT NO! instead dey choose 2 hold dutta captive by a mad woman who duznt reali do much except 4 having flashbacks....
lol...i can see dat ive had a bit of a rant...thawt it wz betta 2 let it all owt here rather dan open another topic....lol....

It was 50-50, i mean as u guys have pointed out the family in the first part would receive an award for playing the dumb role to the hilt, 👎🏼 Kudos to Mahi 🤗did a fantastic job in the whole episode, no surprises frm kala, she'l be the most hated character in the history of TV drama very soon, i feel the CVs r overstretching this negative part nd im numb. 🤢 Colours is famous for glorifying evil characters, it kills the thrill, the anticipation nd the excitement. Just like in Geet of Sahara One [no offence meant] the romance went on nd on, the charm of seeing the lead pair went missing. LTL is also falling into the trap of dragging its feet especially with kala nd the overall negativity surrounding the lead pair. For the first time i thought the song [even thou a beautiful one] in the end was random nd didnt sync well with the sequence, using the Bagban song would've been better. Felt as if the two were interupted by the song adding to the misery was seema nd chacha in the BG. Very soon Vinay [baaji] will think if its time for him to quit the show as there is nothing in it for him anyway, he's been dumbed down to such an extent that even the bodygaurds in the show will feel elated as they r at par with him.😒

hi elysia...had started to write my own post but saw yours and found it far better and hence am just posting mine as a reply..😊

so watched yesterdays episode...the last few minutes...although skipped the budhau crying his heart out...I know it was an apt choice of song...but somehow that buddha singing and Seema at her delusional-best turned the magic of the moment off...literally it was switch off from the tasha scene...

to start... I for one liked the change in BG score..the initial one when Dutta started the convo... it is the same score they used in that bandage-coat wala scene but instead of tarana bol they used the aalap....(and that music had been my favourite even when they used in another Paresh Rawal production...Jeevansaathi...although the serial itself lost its charm after initial epis...)
I loved the way both of them reacted to each other's voices... and after that they both sat....😍... it was so symbolic... as if they found peace and rest only by hearing each others voices...the way they thought now they can sit and take a breath ....the way you do when you finally reach home
after a long and tiring journey...and the way they plunged into the conversation...no hi no hello....that was sooooo tasha😍
I liked the 'aye nakku' part but i thought it was a bit drained...and that is so symbolic...the Dutta who said 'aye nakku' in anna's den had been the man in power...but in here he is helpless, dependent person who is a prisoner of his past and wants to break free and run toward the present he had chosen to hate....
I almost laughed (at the irony) that he is holding on to the promise which Nakusha gave in her fit of righteous anger... how he must be wishing that he had listened to his heart and stopped Nakusha from leaving the room😭
i loved Mahi too when she dantofied Dutta...the words she wanted to say when he was in PN....what she refused to believe when he ignored and abused her but had yet wanted to say...she said it all in one breath....and what does our dear donkey do??? does he defend himself ??? no...does he deny??? no...does he say sorry?? no... he simply asks her why she has reneged on her promise😳
and that raag alap and the beginning of the song😡...it was an apt song but chacha singing and seema staring and getting busy in her dreamland was such an idiotic thing to do....i really wanted to stop her from even visualizing dutta in her dream...na jaane dreams mein bechare ka kya haal kar rahi hogi 😡😆 and why do they need to show Dutta between the two women...it was almost like putting him between an angel and the devil...with fangs complete...😛
Tomorrow i think that Nakku will get her honsla back and this time if Baaji stays quiet😡...and you are bang on...we all seemed to have imagined Madhu....where is Madhu..😕
it is like they are keeping her away because they know that if they show her ...they would have to make her defend nakku and baaji...and that would ruin the kala-moment ...but to keep her away to facilitate the scene is so not done....they should have shown her parcel herself away back to london or wherever she had come from, in the shock of her brother's accident...🤢
