Thank you, guys, for sharing all your thoughts on the episode 😃
@ Shruti: Something that bothered me, which I forgot to mention in my first post, was the background score, actually. Somehow I'd expected them to play some good old Tasha tunes, because it would've made me feel that LTL was back.
@ komal_w25: Yes, the Chanda-Chacha part annoyed me as well. I guess, for me, it's because of how they're showing Chanda as someone so in love and so used and so regretting that we should feel sorry for her. But really, it makes no sense that she's in love with Dutta. She was never in love with him in the first place. If she's in love with anything, it's the idea of what she could've had with him. And that's all she's falling for now as well. Thus I have no sympathy for her. And I wish that the CVs would make it more clear that her feelings aren't based on actual true love, but rather a vague hope of getting back the life that she turned her back on.
In the end, I feel that they haven't executed her story/introduction/whatever very well. A woman like Seema, after spending seven years in the kotha business, would've come to accept what she is and even - to some extent - be bold about it. If they wanted her to start coming to terms with her past, and start to remember who she was before all of it due to Dutta's appearance, then they should've executed her scenes better somehow. Her intentions are still vague to me, and I feel no sympathy for her - even though I've tried.
