And telling Baaji that if he's unable to protect them all, he should say it now so that Dutta can protect the family like he used to before...'phir mujhe dhande mein teri zaroorat nahi hai!'....Dutta, how could you!? Have you forgotten that Baaji was the one who brought you to the dhanda, that he was with you when you protected the family before as well?

For someone like Baaji whose breath catches for Dutta and his smiles and happinesses begin and end with him...how sad it is to see him being taken for granted.

[DD]The comparision was what pinched me the most....I agree that he shld be angry but the words that came out of his mouth, definitely pinched me!!....No matter how much u love ur wife and friend, u cannot compare them with each other!! That's pure humilation!!

Although, I know this scene was a build up for FR and a means to show that Kala's plan is succedding in creating the rift between the two friends, her plan would bounce back soon!!

But yes, for this scene, I think CVs should make it up to us by giving a counter scene where Dutta remembers his words and then takes it back..Apologizes to Baaji in a similar manner as he apologized to Naku - folding hands!!!

u have said it here as far as i am concerned.. this was the lowest dutta could get in front of my eyes with baaji.. i totally hated the way he spoke to baaji.. as much as i adore D, he was wrong today.. agreed he is tense for a illion things, BUT enuf is enuf.. there is a limit to which baaji should be spoken down to..he knows its his fault too, but he is taking it out on baaji.. and poor baaji .. bechara as someone posted in this thread, everyone has a task in hand for him.. i just cannot justify dutta speaking to Baaji like that today..it was way out of order and my blood was boiling esp as Vinay had such a vulnerable, almost crying expression..

and no Anu, i dont think he looked at Nakku and gave baaji 2nd chance on her say.. he was just looking at her.. period.. i did not see naku's influence on that decisio..at least i could not see it😕

but Dutta u broke my heart today comparing naku to baaji.. u have to do serious damage control and reinstate baaji's izzath in front of all PN for me to forgive u

DD, I don't understand CV's. Just to rush for FR, they are killing Dutta's character as a friend of Baaji.
His statement today was more like a master rather than friend. And this is what is not going well with all of us.
Baaji never forgets that first Dutta is his friend. He always keeps his friendship before the business. But today Dutta's statement proves that he momentarily realises that Baaji is his friend.
Also, I don't understand why Nakku had to say this to Baaji that she will taste the food first? I really don't understand this .... Baaji is not the catering incharge or the one who takes food to Dutta. Then why she had to say this to him? She could have done this on her own. Since when she started telling Baaji about her actions? 😡

I feel like lately Dutta has been folding his hands a little too much...sometimes in front of Nakku, sometimes in front of Kala, sometimes in front of PN guests, etc. and now it just won't do for him to easily apologize to Baaji and get out of it. As others have claimed, if DuJi really do share a relationship in which it is okay that one of them looses it a little bit on the other without being held accountable, then it should be time soon for Baaji to loose it on Dutta and for us to see how the relationship holds up then. I love the idea Nels mentioned, Baaji giving Dutta a highly overdue reality check when FR occurs...like the saying goes, "A true friend holds up the mirror for us to see ourselves in."

The thing with Dutta is that when he folds hands, he comes across very sincere. His gesture represents that he wants to apologize from the core of his heart!....And thats what i want...I dont care about the gesture, I care about the sincerity...The apology can come only after he is shown a mirror....So,I am with Nels that for a change Baaji shld make Dutta see the reality when it comes to FR....But only in the Q - "Why Naku had to put on the soot"....not for "Why she had to hold on to the secret" for so long because there even I feel she is guilty!

Nels, Seriously, I can tolerate anything but killing the Dutta character!...I hope this was a one off and I am strictly seeing it as a build up for FR and keeping the other aspects out of my mind purposely because I dnt wanna shoot up my temper!!!....As I said before, Blaming anyone for Sweet incident was preposterous....If I or You or even Dutta was in Baaji's place the same thing wouldhave happened! Naku comes with the soln that she would become shabri, taste first and then let Dutta eat it....V good, but would the form of attack be the same always? How much insight wouldshe pour in to diff forms of attack to stand in between Dutta and the attack?...She cant...Its humanly impossible to know where the attack might come from next time....Sweets was a far fetched thing....Did anyone had a reason to throw the box out? If they did then dutta himself would have thrown it rather than accepting it....How would Baaji have that insight?.....So, yes, Its defn blood boiling scene but I am deliberately keeping myself away from this thought because LTL has lately given me loads of scenes to boil on and I am now just shutting down my system and not taking any depressing intake!!...

End of FR, everything would be back to normal and Love and friendship would be glorious!

Oh god what a weird episode....firstly the way the whole sequence was shot with a shot of EVERYONE slowlyyyyyyy bringing the mithaai to their mouths while that guest starts to choke and clutch his throat after eating the mithaai and then SUDDENLY stopping when that guy falls to the floor....ridiculously hilarious😆....they all looked sooooooooo funny....and I found it to be a very dragged and OTT melodramatic portion.

As for Dutta-Baaji's "rift".....seriously I also got a forced vibe off it it today.....firstly I can't believe the way Dutta told Baaji ki "dafaa ho jaa"....what the hell?! How can he say that to Baaji! And Baaji bhi randomly starts to stutter and act all unnecessarily guilty.....and what was up with the random diwali decoration bit?? Itna drama hone ke baad Baaji is acting all chirpy trying to decorate the house? So weird :S.....and then Dutta with his melodramatic "last chance" dialogues and I don't need you to take care of my family anymore, I can do it myself....and what the hell...he was comparing Baaji to NAKKU?!🤔😆.....Maaaaan this is going to come back to bite him SO bad....Nakku ko itna pedestal pe chadha raha hai, he himself will wrench her off of it so horribly when the truth is revealed......Baaji didn't deserve that comparison and to hear his loyalty questioned in this manner.....seriously I agree with everyone here that why doesn't Dutta's OWN brain work? Has he outsourced his brain to Baaji and expects THAT to work all the time?? Khud ka dimaag nahin hai? All this OTT blame game that he was doing with Baaji today I really didn't like.
