I didn't find the DP track to be rushed.....honestly it was believable that Naku finally got through to him....he did spend a decent amount of time falling apart etc before that.....and Nakku stabilized him again...he came back for his family.....but his grouse with DP remained....which was very believable to me....I really don't understand why ppl keep calling this track "rushed"😕

In the case of the FR, there will be no Naku to stabilize him....cuz Nakku WILL be the issue this time.....so he will definitely hate her for quite some time the way I see it.....

No Anu, I don't think the recovery period can be as short as 3 LTL days but I dont think CVs would stretch it beyond 3 viewers' days....max 1 week post FR sequence....

I have a feeling that the huge affair we are thinking it to be, might not turn out to be that huge.....There are two Questions that need to be answered in this FR track..

1. Why did Naku dawn the soot

2. Why did she hide it for so long especially after his proposal?

The first one I feel should be easy to convince...but the 2nd one is where he needs time to recover....and I sincerly dnt think they need more than 5 days of viewers days to make him see thru it (I am discountign any subplots thats Kala might brew up)....On the fallout between Naku and Dutta, I have a feeling Dutta would surprise us...Ofcourse he would be angry with Baaji and Naku....and he has a right to be angry and given them a cold shoulder....but I dnt forsee him throwing them out or banishing them....that is where i feel Dutta would pass the test of love with flying colors....and I guess tht shld teach Naku and Baaji a lesson or two that they need to learn to trust Dutta and his love a little more than then do!!!

Having said that, What I think woudl take time is for him to map the new face to his feelings....that is irrespective of the betrayal because that is smethng Naku also has to go thru'.....and for this mapping if he would stall the wedding, I would totally understand.....

On DP track, I guess because we had built the castle in the air that Dutta would recover, he would come to terms with it and then forgive DP....All this while DP would keep waitign for him and eventually he would be part of the wedding...This expectations makes lot of us think that DP track was rushed!! It makes us feel that one blink and DP was dead.....

but u r right, I am very thankful to Cvs that they didnt show Dutta forgiving DP in a short span else that would have looked too much of an acceleration to me!!!.....But i just wish DP had got his forgiveness before he died and since that expectation was not met, the feeling we got was that of rushed!!!

I'm not quite sure I understand, DD....if Dutta will forgive them so easily, won't it be anti-climactic and against his character?? Dutta loses his mind when he feels betrayed....he loses it over the smallest of things....yeh toh phir bhi bahut badi baat hai.....he will first feel like he's been made a fool out of like Anna warned him as he was dying......and then he'll hate that he was lied to for so long by ppl he loves so much.....not to forget he hates beauty....feels like it always betrays him....Nakku turning out to be beautiful and technically having betrayed him for so long....how will that not shatter him? They'll figure out some way of not having Nakku ro Baaji thrown out of the house maybe but I don't see Dutta doing that out of some sense of serene understanding.of why they did what they did......

Maybe I'm wrong....but I honestly don't think this is a question of having to trust Dutta and his love....he's human....he has to reconcile to something huge....the way I see it....he will hate Nakku for her face for quite some time....one cuz it's not the face of the Naku he fell in love with (the disconnect) and two cuz it's a beautiful face.

If the shaadi happens in the middle of all this, I'm just going to find it weird....and I'm feeling damn confused now.....maybe I should just stop thinking and wait for whenever they show whatever they show *shrugs*

You have a very valid point here Anu.....and considering his history, it is fair to visualize his reactions as explicitly as you have stated! And exactly as you have stated, Dutta's initial reaction would also be the same impulsive, aggressive reaction as before...Because now, its directly related to Naku, the person close to his heart! and I have no doubts the first reaction would not be a pretty sight....Like any Human and like our old Dutta, he would get worked up.....

but I feel Dutta is a changed person now!! From the time he has discovered this new feeling inside him - love, that keeps growing stronger and stronger with every facet he discovers of Naku, he has calmed down to certain extent...In love, he explores things more deeply than Naku or Baaji give him credit for....He has started seeing things that initially he was blind too...and thats all because of love....How easily did he see the serenity on naku's face and realize the calmness inside her inspite of the issues surrpounding her....These facets are reaching his heart so easily for a man, who was only surrounded with his problems initially, who only saw Naku as a shoulder to cry on and vent his feelings....but now, he has started seeing things from her angle, he has started putting on her chappals, started making decisions that are in her best interest....Things have gne thru' gradual change since he has discovered this feeling inside him....he has become more profound than he was before....I am not saying, he would loose the essence of his character....I am not saying that he would not be angry or not give these two cold shoulders...Infact I feel that these two deserve every punishment that he would throw on them....but he would not cut these two from his life...this is the trust I have in his love and transformation.....

As u have stated, its about being human, yes, that woukd show in the initial reaction and the recovery period, but its the love and transformation that would help him heal fast!!...There has to be some diff in the Dutta that we saw before, who had dents all over his heart to the Dutta who feels healed and calm when he is with Naku!!!....

This is my take but your version looks more pausible with the Dutta we have known....This is just my feeling and I give him alittle more credit than Naku and Baaji!!

Lets see how he handles it!!!

I didnt see the later part of your message....I totally agree on the disconnect from the new face.....Yes, that is an ordeal for Naku too, not just Dutta - to get used to the new face....but this process of mapping the feelings to the new face can be done even when he has calmed down and anyways, he can do that only when he is ready to take Naku/Baaji's inputs and listen to them....Else he would remain stubborn and not even try to get into te process of mapping!!...But I totally agree, marriage till he maps is not a possibility...and when I say tht he would heal and get over his anger, I didnt include wedding as the result of it....

What is important here is to show Naku's traits that are still alive in the Gori Naku...He has to feel the traits in his daily routine...probably few incidents can make him see how the real Naku remained the same, inspite of the facial change!!! These incidents need to bring out Naku's traits very explicitly!!

@Nu: Yeah!! Marriage doesnt look like a possibility now but with the news floating, I wonder how they would accelerate Dutta's recovery process and make him sit in the mandap!!!

The way i see things is (and I might be totally off here because I was never good in estimates and CVs always surprise me) -

1 episode/scene - Naku's real face is out in open!!

1 episode - Dutta's extreme and aggressive reaction

3 episodes - max 1 week episodes where Dutta moves around restlessly, in the state of extreme fury...Basically what he terms as Toofan at its peak!!! In this process, I also expect him to confront Naku and ask her why she did what she did....Lot would depend on her answers....whether they are cut-to-cut like the awesome answers she gave when she was advocating for AS in the desi pub or she gives the haalaat, samay and more ridiculous - "Mein Kya bolegi Saab" answer!!!

By the end of the 1 week he has calmed down enough to listen to Naku and Baaji ....His agony and fury has calmed down...He has recollected some of his best moments with Naku which tell him that Naku can not have any preconceived designs in hiding her soot!!

This is what I meant by 1 week episodes....then its all about accepting them back emotionally in his life and mapping the face.....this I believe can be done in a calmer and friendlier state too....the way Naku and Dutta are exploring their relationship now, a little hesitation when they are around and a little eagerness to take the next step.....

but yes, Marriage cannot be in the cards till he sees Gori Naku the same way as the koel gal.....

Frankly Anu, the pace at which CVs are moving, I dnt see the "long term" being 6 months or so at all.....not even a month.....I used to also think initially tht FR might be 2-3 months affair but no more....CVs are keeping us on the edge with every move.....I just loved the DP track they way it was introduced and handled...It made me forget that Tasha scenes had gone backseat!!....(will keep the "rushed ending" at bay for the timebeing! 😉)

Well .....ye clause bhi added hota ...😆... but at that time we didn't knw that Roops was actually negative & playing around with Baaji ...😡

Ah, okay 😊 I'm not a big fan of petitioning to influence, change or trash tracks that the writers feel should be shown in order to take their story ahead and I'm glad this petition you guys made wasn't the reason behind Roops/Baaji being taken off the radar prematurely. It's still a pity that they seem to have done so, but that is of course, strictly in the opinion of the minority.
