Fivr.... I guess as I'm not a member in the LTL forum so I shouldn't have gone with impulse and posted here. But I couldn't help it. Honestly, the competition, the concept irritated me. Ab kya yehi topic rehgaya hai to make everything oh-so-hilarious...ha-ha-ha. Shows main dekho toh har show main they have a dostana twist...ab tum logon ne sig competitions main bhi is ko daal diya hai...where's the originality? Dutta and Baji as characters, their relationship....it's all so sweet...the trust Dutta have on Baji...the loyalty Baji shows to Dutta...it's all so genuine...Socho, if the LTL team in real try to go the dostana way..even for fun...would you like it? And who would use such sigs...ok, some would, probably. Sorry, but I didn't find the concept appealing OR hilarious in anyway. And I know I shouldn't react to it this extremely as I can't make sigs or even visit LTL forum much but I'm sick and tired of the 'dostana' tag. Anyway, I guess you ppl may know more about the sense of humor of this forum and what would be their idea of fun than me...as I see I'm the only one wasting my breath here about the propriety of this concept and competition.

BTW you know what's more hilarious, IF toh is censoring even the T of W*F to maintain a certain propriety here and you DT members are holding competitions like these.

Again, no offense intended...it's just an opinion..only a bit straightforwardly stated...

Mash... I understand what you're trying to say and I'm sure you're not the only one who feels that way - albeit the only person who voiced their opinion about it.. 😆 When we set up the contest, it was done so keeping in mind all the different members and their preferences in the forum. For some that enjoy a "Dostana" idea, we had the "Dostana" sig contest. But we also had the a simple Duji sig category. And lastly, for members like you and I who don't know how to make any sigs at all (even if their life depended on it 😆) we have the award nominations.

Ok one suggestion abt the member nominations...I want to nominate but frankly speaking 30 categories are really daunting. Can we reduce it to about 10? Also I when u nominate someone to be some character of the show can u specify which characteristic of the character? For instance if I nominate someone as Kala that person may find it offensive.

Ksh you have 30 categories, but if you can't find appropriate members for a category you can leave it blank. I mean you have 30 options, but not everyone's turning in all of them so you turn is as many as you feel you can vote for. And those are the votes we'll use.

About the characteristic of the character - why don't you let us know what characteristic is it that made you nominate that member for that character and if they win, we'll make sure they know why they were nominated as such i.e. what aspect of them reminded everyone of the said character.. 😊

Err...sorry too much work! I think I'll skip this nomination. 😆
