I already feel disconnected from fair Naku - Page 8

I didn't find anything in yesterday's lines wrong either. What Naku said to Super was like showing her a mirror. The second Super discovered Naku's real look and the effect it had on Anna, she stopped being the nice devoted kidnapper/don wife and started dragging Naku around and almost yelling at her. And we all know why. Her husband already left his first wife, the marriage thing is not so sacred for him.

There are times when.one needs to speak up, needs to be bold to protect themselves. Naku- and that is the important point here is Anna's hostage. She was kinda under his radar while being dark, she was also safe from Super's envy/wrath but now she is exposed.

And of course she is obsessed with (her own) beauty time and time again. Her mother kept telling her how beautiful she os, even Ganpat once had this horrible plan to show Dutta her real self because that would make him fall for her, we had Morey, now Anna and his wife. And Naku is no Wonder Woman, she is just a simple girl.

I would say, let's wait for a few episodes. Naku is dolled up now and in a-well-special situation. Let's see how things develop.

True. I think the CVs will do right by the character...soon.

First...I'm shocked at the way people are reacting towards the fair Naku! Wasn't she always like this? And haven't we seen enough of her in the past to feel connected with her? About the revelation

I know the face-revelation track is looking rushed and may be a little anti-climatic...but I firmly believe that the CVs have good reason for showing whatever is being shown! Our bewilderment is mostly because of the UNEXPECTED turn of events! But I think once we find the right perspective, things will fall into place! May be the revelation is not the real twist...something BIGGER is coming our way! Anyway, whatever they do, I'll be happy as long as they don't resort to Kala's kitchen politics for the revelation!

All right, a couple of things to clarify because I've read it often enough and I thought it best to set the record straight.

For one, in my original post, I mention that it will take time to get used to the fair Naku and that in time, I will like the fair persona. I recognize that...I'm not that deficient to not understand that.

Second, I've always cringed whenever Naku discussed her beauty (in the garden with Babi, her reflection in the water). I KNOW that her character is supposed to be beautiful and that men have exploited her beauty, people around her have reinforced in her mind that she is beautiful...BUT when I think of the sweet, humble Naku, I find it odd to hear her utter these words. I ACCEPT that this is the character, but it does not mean I have to like it wholeheartedly.

Third, this Mahi thing. Mahi is given scenes and lines to act out. I understand that. What I'm saying is that the LINES and the SCENES that have been penned have left me feeling a bit disconnected so far. Yes, rightly so, it may be the bridal get up, but it was also her words to Subhu. I would not mind if they toned down her self-awareness.

Fourth, we all love Naku-Dutta jodi. My interest is that the CVs stay faithful to who Naku is. I trust them, obviously, as they know their craft best and they have not disappointed us to date. These are just my opinions. Just as I was given the advice not to mix Mahi and Naku up, here is one request on my part: please keep the context of my original post on this topic in perspective. Do not mix it up with issues beyond the scope of my post. It was about my feelings with regard to the Naku I was seeing and hearing onscreen.

I understand your love for the characters, and I think we all have that in common. But please don't get upset or disturbed. These are opinions, and what is or isn't distortion is subject to interpretation. It is your opinion that yesterday's portrayal was fine, and that's ok, just as mine is that it was not up to par.
Secondly, this has nothing to do with Mahi in her personal life. And I wish people on this forum would stop saying that everytime someone dislikes Mahi's acting or Naku's portrayal. It's okay for people including myself to not like everything we see on the screen...there is nothing wrong with it.

gp, I think I know how you feel. When the show started I often said why didn't they bring simply a not so good looking lead? Why a peetty girl hiding her face turning the show into some kind of fairytale? But I liked/started to like the concept and since we already had scenes with the fair Naku, I can connect with her without problems. It's still sad though to read many of the comments on Youtube begging tptb to reveal the face, because Dutta would fall for her just by seeing her. We all know that this is not the concept, but many viewers seem to think like that and this is something I feared back then.

But (!) the cv's have done a tremendous job so far and I am sure they will do so in the future also. A proud of her beauty Naku is very real. Let's just put ourselves in her shoes for a second; always humiliated, dragged around, judged by her outer appereance. And (!) she is so young! Isn't it even a little bit understandable that she admires herself these short moments her mother allow her to be sans the make up?

guys why this negative comment abt fair nakku comeon its sheer jealousy she wasn't rude but if somebody blame her & her husband for using beauy to trap anna she will ans back ,why are people jumping to conclusion inspite just few scenes of fair nakku ,girls don't be jealous of her she has taken taunt throughout her life & she deserve to be her true self ,its sheer jealousy dutta getting a fair nakku ,she will remain the same

I agree...I dont find amything wrong with a proud of her beauty Naku. But Naku isnt that proud that she thinks Dutta too will fall for her. So I will say she is realistic. She knows she can easily attracts leches like Morey...but she doesnt really want such a man. She wants the best guy around who isnt so easily impressed. 😉
