Guys Dutta hs not dropped the gun bec he was apprehensive after nearing Kala's words. But I guess Dutta dropped the gun as he challenged Anna that he would face him without nay weapons!!
I guess he got more wild listening to Kala that he rememebered his convo with Anna and is more determined to captivate Anna and his men.
Dutta is such a character taht even if he hates NAkku or beleives Kala's words he will save her from Anna as Anna took her as hostage for Dutta.
Now when he has feelongs for her he would be even more determined.
