I haven't had much time to comment on the latest episodes on ltl so am just going to ramble on a bit or a lot, it may be i am repeating what's already been said so feel free to ignore or read at your will. Also about the post title, I think some of the latest episodes are easily amongst ltl's best. Especially last Thursday's action filled episode and todays episode with its lack of action. All really touching for their own unique reasons hence 'ltl's finest'.
I'm gonna start with Jagpats comment on Thursday ''Tu ne jisse se dhoka khaya, vo tera pyaar that hi nahi.'' 👏👏we saw Dutta's subconscious recognition of this later as the song khoya khoya chaand played in the background. The song summed up events beautifully. Why dwell on what you have lost and the pain it bought you, or why should you walk so overcautiously because of that old hurt when your path and destination are determining themselves. These thing were really not in Dutta's control…''ye faaslein khud he teh kare, ye manzile khud he teh kare…'' Dutta's fate brought about these things and then brought him Nakkusha for a reason. His memories of seema, supriya and Nakku were all portrayed incredibly well…right in sync with the song and Duttas expressions. We see Duttas anguish, his confusion ''sawaal he sawaal hai…'' and then … Dutta see's the light at the end of the tunnel. He puts his hand on his head reflecting his pain when he remembers Nakku returning the mangal sutar,,,,then that tilt of his head as he remembers Nakku saying it is her decision whether she stays with him in the face of death, and then that same tilt again as he remembers Nakku taking care of him. Here it's visible that Dutta is definitely realizing SOMETHING. One of the best parts was when Dutta ran to Nakku the second he realizes Anna's men are here. His primary instinct was her wellbeing only, this is why I think Dutta is definitely in love. I feel Dutta here had reached the point where it would break him if anything happened to Nakkusha, all this without even having acknowledged his love for her on a conscious level.
I was actually touched by the way Nakku sat there staring at him 😍(although it would be slightly unnerving if I saw that in reality). A lot has been said about Jagpats death, so I am gonna only mention that thought this was one of ltl's best points. A stranger gave his life for the couple, so that Dutta can really appreciate love. It was awesome and tragic all at the same time. I just hope tasha emerge from this point stronger.
In yesterdays episode again, I think everyone noticed that Dutta ran from the voices of Kalavati and A.S. it was too much for him, suffocating and without peace. Again this makes me wonder whether on some subconscious level Dutta is aware that his sisters are no good at all. There were comments on India forums that Dutta will face a dukhon ki aandhi (as predicted by the purohit) because of the revelation of his sisters' evil. But I don't think that is the case. Again I think that Dutta has reached the point where the only thing that will hit him hard is if anything was to happen to Nakku. With Nakku at his side Dutta will be able to face the truth of his sisters however much it hurts. But for Nakku to be hurt will send him reeling. In the episode, we see Dutta run and run, from his sister and AS then from seema/sups. He closes his eyes again to look deeper, to escape; and obviously who is he escaping too, and who is buried in the core of his heart …but Nakku alone. The lyrics of the song were beautifully fitting to how Dutta felt at that moment , "Dhadkaan ye mere dil ki pooche re tere dil se...Ki sach much kya hai tu duniya mein'' along with the FB's of her words. Honestly …this opening sequence to the dream of Nakku was absolutely amazing. You could feel Dutta changing,,,seeing things as Nakku does ….where everything is beautiful because of love. THIS will be his life with Nakku in it, she has been the 1 to bring beauty, peace and solace into his life and she will continue to do so for as long as she is with him 'pyaar mein sab kuch acha lagta hai''. Dutta toh bass dekhta reh jaata hai. The names on the tree, the prayer, through everything ; Dutta is simply following Nakku, just enjoying the moment. Then of course we had that last part of the dream, the touching of hands and then Nakku gently leaving. It's this final part that gets to Dutta in today's episode. He is remembering her leaving and it is finally hitting him, causing him pain. In his mind he's screaming out for her to stay but doesn't get the chance to express this. Again, mishal rahejas facial expressions were perfectly executed through everything, even through the arrival of bhaji (bloody kebab mein haddi had to kill the moment). all Dutta and Nakku can do is stare at each other, AND it was an absolutely lovely moment that spoke volumes. For the first time, we see Dutta staring the way Nakku has been for monthssss. On top, Dutta is even more pained here because it as if he's lost that moment of asking her to stay. bhaji talks on and onnn but its as if Dutta isn't hearing a word he's so lost. He says to Dutta 'k parchayi ki tara tere saath saath rahe ga' Dutta automatically looks at Nakku and at this moment I was SURE the only person he would want with him is Nakku. Of course then comes bhaji's slightly redundant apology to Nakku. Although I was not moved by this, I felt that the words were ringing in Dutta's ears so I WAS moved by Duttas expression at this point. Dutta knows he failed to understand her, and I feel he also knows Nakku will never ask for anything in return for staying with Dutta through everything. This is simply not in her nature, because up to yet she has not even asked for what is rightly hers…her rights as Duttas wife. Another quick point I thought Dutta looked slightly stressed after the call from AS, but then one look at Nakku and this seems to fade. I wonder what he was about to say before bhaji and the guards lifted him on to their shoulders (on a quick side note finally figured what the bodyguards use is in ltl, theyre no good at defending Dutta but are really there to easily lift him on to their shoulders in joy)
It's ironic that Dutta is remembering Nakkus words ''dil ki baaat bolo na toh dil ki hlqa ho jaata hai…'' but neither Dutta aur Nakku have been given that chance. Cv's will never make things so easy for them …so Next thing anna will be barging in to their lives. I do think tasha are in for more heartbreak. First it could be that Dutta thinks he's lost Nakku (whole bullet track or some alternative to this) will bring him both guilt and grief. Or the thing could be,,,, if you remember Duttas comment 'jitna sundar roop UTNA barra dhoka''….. I can imagine Dutta taking Nakkus beauty as a dhoka because that is what he has been telling himself (i.e. that beautiful people betray), and this is what has been reinforced by the stress on beauty/lack of beauty in the dream sequence. BUT … at the same time, haven't we just seen Dutta looking into the core of himself and recognizing Nakku as his destiny?... Nakku is the person who will bring peace and colour into his life. So I guess this will be the real test for Dutta, can he recognize that whatever colour she is or how dodgy her eyebrows, she is the 1 and the same person…the one who loves him?????
Ok I am gonna stop, right I think you can write a commentary on each of Dutta's expressions, what each sentence REALLY means and it can go on forever and ever. My apology to all, hadn't intended this to be soooo long!
