batak gaya? jagpats symbolism

ok, I knew I loved the new gangster when he entered and now he's proven his credibility over these last two episodes. The man gives dutta real competition as a gangster, in fact his dialogues are better, absolutely terrific ''maut se vo dare jisse jeenai ka saleeka na aya''…

ok. So jagpat turns and initially tells tasha to follow them ONLY because of nakusha. nakku's call to him 'daada' followed by that brief interaction between tasha where dutta says 'beech mein mat bol' and nakku lowering her head immediately speaks volumes to jagpat. that is enough for him to draw some sort of conclusion about the couple, and how he can help them. When he looks back at nakku its as if he is SEEING HER clearly, and more then that he is empathizing with her. So this is never a simple case of him helping them out of the jungle, he is doing much more. his words constantly have some symbolism etched in them. a fave bit of mine was when he says ''bohot gehra rishta lagta hai, patni hai teri? batak gaye?" I know the batak gaye on the surface was referring to being lost in the jungle, but I think it also perfectly described dutta as patti…he's stepped off from the path of being a husband to nakku and embracing his love for her. Again when jagpat says ''challe ga to bache ga, rukke ga toh batke ga" …this is not jagpat talking about duttas survival from the jungle, how does he know whether dutta is capable or not of making it out alive? Why say ''bache ga''?.... again this seems to be talking about the tasha relationship that marriage bond…and in the long run it is also referring to dutta being saved from himself. His future regret and turmoil.

In today's episode we again saw jagpat behaving kind of fatherly towards nakku. He refers to her as beti, advises her on declaring her name in full ''nakusha dutta patil'' and basically attempts to converse with her as a person. More than this, when he overhears dutta say to nakku angrily 'ab bi isse ke peeche jaana hai'….he immediately attempts to stop this by appealing to duttas ego …he says he wants to be able to tell people that DUTTA entered his house (yeah ok I do not believe this for a second). All the way through he's been sweet and somewhat protective towards nakku but mocking (in a funny way) of dutta. Duttas inflated ego, his power self importance means nothing to jagpat. The other lovely thing is that he has repeatedly emphasized that Nakku IS dutta's patni. If dutta did not know this at the start, he defo does now. Deny all you want but the married status isn't so easy to be rid off.

Anyway im dying of curiosity to see where jagpat will take us, what is intentions are, his past and his future in ltl. Hope he's here to stay. We can get rid of ganpat and keep his as a protective figure for nakku! feel free to add any symbolism i may have missed off and if u disagree 😊

Very well written Hessa85. I so agree with your point of view and how Jagdap's keen observation is definitely indicated to more than just being lost in the jungle but rather the relationship between a husband and wife. The phrase "BHATAK GAYE" is so applicable to Tasha's current relationship. Hats off to the CV's for the idea and execution of this "BHATAK GAYE" symbolism and again of course the dialogues by Anil D. (gosh i am so fida over him)
Hopefully Jagdap will have a major role in helping them in finding each other.
I am looking forward to this character's impact on Tasha relationship. I too hope that he is here to stay in LTL in some form or the other.

challe ga to bache ga, rukke ga toh batke ga" ...
i totally agree with u on this point....there was a double meaning here...it was a pun...
when he said this dialog..we had dutta stang still gazing at this person...trying to recollect and understand what he just said...

after dada left..we had nakku following him..and dutta still standing behind..making those annoyed faces ..with the irritated look...so i guess dutta understood what dada meant

ya u have a gud point here..this will again remind dutta that nakku has proven to be his humsafar by giving her saath to him in the cliff hanging situation...and indeed his safar is aasan with nakku by his side..

infact they are helping each other out but are not showing it off...dutta also did a lot for nakku..somewhere even he blvs that he is a humsafar.. 😍 ..all the protective behavior n all..proves that even dutta is doing his duties fairly!!!

@ nazia and ltl fan

i think dutta is taken aback by jagpat, hes unsure what to make of him but his comments are hitting home. maybe at this poinbt dutta wont really think of jagpats comment about hamsafar but i think i thin if he did stop to ponder over the point he would realise who his humsafar is and has always been

Is gadhe ko kuch samajh me aaye ya na aaye lekin Anil ji ke dialogues to viewers ke liye kamal ke hain aur wohbhi Tasha ke current relationship pe bilkul appropriate hain.

to be honest dutta's attitude even now still makes me question whether dutta reallly will realise his love by the time the jungle track is over... samajh paay ga ya nahi im not convinced yet. remember also in the interview mishal said k dutta kabi nahi izhaar kare ga....so does this mean nakku will still think dutta doesnt love her in the same way she loves him? certainly she knows he cares enough to save her before himself...but this is the type of person dutta is quite honorouble wiith a sense of duty. if it was different person in nakkus place i feel hed perhaps do the same??

While in the jungle he might subconsiously realize that he has feelings for Nakku but will definitely not confess to Nakku. I think once they return from the jungle Dutta might keep her at the PN due to Anna's threat. However she will stay in the outhouse with her family and completely avoid any interaction with Dutta. I think it is at that time he will start processing his true feelings for Nakku and may make some attempt to convey them indirectly as Nakku had stated before that "Aap ko pyar izhaar nahin karna aata".
