So, I haven't really gotten the chance to read the NL yet, but it looks great! So good job on that everyone! Hopefully I'll be able to get to it this week so I can reply.. *sigh*
About the Nakku being a woman of few words, I guess what I was really trying to say was that when she wants to drive a point home, she doesn't skirt around the issue a lot - she just SAYS it. Up until now, all the skirting around the issue has been for Dutta's benefit. She has been treating him "special" - with softer words and simpler definitions. With examples of what her Aayi says and with ways to help him see life better.. But now, when it was just about her need to make him see the truth saaf saaf - she just SAID it. Simple as that. No sugar coating.. And that was different - even for our Sherni.. She always stands up for her thoughts in front of Dutta, but she's always been a little soft around the edges when doing so. This time though, it was more sharp - more "Here's-the-deal" sort of a feel to it, with a lot fewer words.. *realizes this might not be making any sense* 😆
@Jaz-not-giving-benefits: OMG! What is this? Did I totally miss a mutiny?!?! *gasp* WHY wasn't I informed!!! I could have done some dramatic protests too!!! *looks around baffled*
But for what it's worth, I have ALWAYS been given these "benefits" that were being protested for earlier. I mean, at least mujhey toh hamesha miley hain! I have been ridiculously late, I've been sick and not had to turn in dialogues, I've even been allotted time to "drool" over Kala and not just Tasha! Plus I've been allowed to whine and consult the in-house counselors too!!! And all because I read the "fine print"! Okay.. Fine, I didn't read it! I just assumed they came with the job.. 🤣 Still, I have no complaints for our Editor-In-Chief! Meri sari demands humesha sey poori ki gayi theen! *gives
