Crisis on Laagi Tujhse Lagan but actors pull it off
Daily soaps always suffer the trouble of having an adequate number of episodes in bank. If the key characters of the show are unable to shoot, the telecast runs into trouble and the makers of Laagi Tujhse Lagan were facing a similar crisis of not having their lead faces to shoot for the episode which was to air tomorrow
But things got sorted later, after the actors came together to bail the producers.
Informs a source, "Mahhi Vij, the lead actress of the show had gone out of town to attend a wedding. She had informed the production house two months in advance of her plans of going back to Delhi for the wedding which can't be avoided. They didn't have an adequate bank of episodes and were worried as to what will be aired tomorrow. If this wasn't enough, their problems went multifold as Mishal Raheja, male lead of the show, isn't shooting because he recently underwent a surgery to remove his appendix and Aashka Goradia ,who plays Kalavati is suffering from an eye-infection. Just when the creative team was wondering about how to handle the situation, Mahhi flew down from Delhi on the production house's request. The actress was professional enough to understand the need of the hour and came down to shoot the sequence. The creative team made a last minute alteration in the track and worked on a sequence between Aashka and Mahhi. The actors pulled it out extremely well and thus saved the production house from an ugly situation."
Says Aashka, "I wouldn't want to comment on this but all I can say is that as a thorough professional one has to work for the betterment of the production house and the show."
