In the evening,there is a lot of rush in the house with everyone running hither-tither to get ready.Kalawati chooses a beautiful pink net sari with heavy work and kundan jewellery to match her sari.She ties her hair in a loose ponytail.As she is applying light brown lipstick,Kishore enters the room wearing a simple red kurta-pyjama.He looks at his wife sitting in front of the mirror looking absolutely gorgeous.He comes up to her smiling and complements her,"Kya baat hai Kala!!Waise toh main hamesha se hi janta tha ki meri biwi sundar hai..par bappa ki kasam aaj tum itni sundar lag rahi hu jitni kabhi nhai lagi...".Kala makes an irritated face and says mockingly,"Shukar karo maine tumse shaadi ki..."And then lifts her eyebrows and adds sternly,"abb jao jakar dekho Tanay tayyar hua ya nahi..yahan meri shakal nihaar kar time matt waste karo.."

SCENE 2

Meanwhile,at Dutta's room,Baji is in a fix.He scratches his head in confusion and says"Bhau..madad kar na meri..kya pehen ke jau.."Dutta,who has just come out of his washroom after a refreshing shower,wearing his pants and vest,with a towel in his hands and wiping his hair looks at Baji and says,"Abb tu mujhse yeh kaam karwayega...kya pehn na hai kya nahi!!Apna bheja istemaal kar aur kuch bhi pehen le..."Baji looks at him and says,"Bhau!!Tum woh gehre rang wale kurte matt pehen na!!Hum chutti manane maafik ja rahe hai na...Tum kuch rang birange kurte pehen na...acche dikhoge bhau..ekdum rapchik!!"Dutta rollshis eyes and thinks for a moment and smiles at Baji and says"Arre waah baji!!Lagta hai aakhir kar bhagwaan ne daya karke tere andar bhi dimaag daal diya hai.."Baji frowns ek and says,"Kya bhau!!Apun t oh tereko bas ek tarkeeb de rela tha.."Dutta opens his closet and takes out a beautiful yet simple yellow kurta with white churidaar and sandals.When he comes out of his changing room,Baji whistles and complements him,"Kya Bhau!!Aaj toh saari ladkiya tujhpe girenge..Ekdum mehlon ka shezada lag rahe ho...Mere liye bhi kuch bacha lena.."Dutta blushes and smiles says"Abb chal kisi ko bulwa kar yeh sara samaan gaadi mein rakhwa de.."Baji follows and says,"Haan abhi karta hai na Bhau."Dutta and Baji move out from the room to gather in the hall where everyone will meet.

SCENE 3

Back at Naku's room,Naku gets ready in a simple and elegant red suit and churidaar.She sits in front of the mirror and puts a small bindi on her forehead.She puts a small black clutcher on her hair and leaves the rest open.She puts on her jutis and admires herself in the mirror.Babi comes up from behind smiling and says softly,"Meri Naku bilkul mehlon ki rajkumari lag rahi hai..."Naku blushes,smiles and looks down.Ganpat comes rushing out from washroom tying up his shirt buttons fast and shouts,"Haan haan ho gaya!!Abb jaldi chal...itni deri ho gayi..bade log kya sochenge..hum log unse bhi zyada samay lagate hai..."Babi nods her head and says,"Chal Naku..chal sethji.."She leaves the room with Ganpat carrying the potli of their clothes with him..."

SCENE 4

Everyone is present in the main drawing room.From Kala to Leela,Roops,Kishore and Sudarshan with "I am lost..Help" kind of expression on his face..."Aayi Sahib,in asmiple blue silk saree,with rosary of beads in hands is standing and talking wit Kala.Tanay is running about the house with the bats and badminton raquets in his hands.Dutta and Baji are busy instructing the servants where to keep everyone's bags and luggage.Naku and her family enter the room sheepishly and stand in a corner.As Dutta turns around and accidently his eyes falls Naku,looking at Tanay and Sethji playing with each other and smiling at them.Dutta is lost for a moment.He looks at the beautiful girl in a simple red suit with her beautiful black hair framing a beautiful face,animated eyes and a black bindi adorning her face.His eyes moves to her beautiful lips which look like red petals of a rose,innocence shining out ofher radiant face.Dutta smiles faintly.Naku shifts her gaze at Dutta and catches him looking at her.Her jaw drops in surprise when she sees Dutta in a yellow Kurta.She smiles and lifts up her thumbs at him.Dutta blushes and looks down.At that moment,Baji interrupts and comes up to Naku and her family and says,"Arre aa gaye tum log,Chalo yahan kone mein kayko khade ho...samaan rakhwana hai na...Ja Ganpat jakar apne potle ko bahar khade gaadiyon mein se kisi mein rakh de.."Ganpat nods his head ang goes out hastily.When everthing is set,Aayi Sahib tells Babi to get some curd for everyone as it is a good shagun before going out of the house.Babi gets curd for everyone and after having it and taking Lord Ganesha's name,everyone steps out from the house.There is a long row of four Tavera cars.Dutta stands in front of everyone and says,"Maine aur Baji ne soch liya hai ki kaun kiss kiss car mein baithega.Pehli gaadi mein Aayi Sahib,Kishore Jeejaji,Babi ji aur Ganpat baithenge.Dusre gaadi mein Kala Taayi,Leela,Roop aur Sudarshan baithenge... Teesre car mein ghar ke saare Naukar baithenge.Aur aakhri car mein Main,Baji,Tanay,sethji aur..."He looks at Naku before adding.."Naku baithenge.."Naku lifts her head and looks surprised at Dutta.Baji syas hastily,"Chalo abb sab baitho jaldi jaldi..nikalna bhi hai..."Kala gives an evil smile at her sister after hearing the seating arrangements.Everyone settle down in their respective cars.In the last car,Baji sits in the front with the driver.Naku and Dutta sit in the middle seat with Tanay and sethji between them.

SCENE 5

The long row of cars start moving.The kids sitting between Naku and Dutta play and make lot of noise.Baji decides to catch a sleep and with his earphones on,he dozes off.Dutta looks away from the window towards Naku who is silently looking outside.As dutta continues to look at her,She slowly drifts off to sleep and her head falls backwards on the headrest with her hair all over her face.Dutta slowly extends one of his hands from behind everyone and touches Naku's hair.He removes every strand of her hair with his hands.Naku flimches for a moment.Dutta,afraid,he might wake her up and spoil her dreams,removes his hands off her delicate face.

SCENE 6

They stop midway at a restaurant for refreshing themselves.Everyone gets down the car to take some fresh air.Dutta silently wakes up Naku saying,"Naku,uth ja'"Naku rubs her eyes innocently opens her big bright eyes and smiles at everyone.Dutta gets down and opens the door for her.She steps down groggily.Dutta gives her support and says,"Araam se Naku.." Everyone divides into small groups chatting away idly and sipping cold drinks.Kala looks at Naku and Dutta smiling at each other.Kala,with her cold-drink cup in her hands,says to herself,"Jeetni khushi aaj tumhari aankhon mein dikh rahi hai na'bas kuch dino ki deri hai'phir toh inme aasun hi aasun honge.."Baji suddenly says to everyone.."Chalo..abb araam karne ka time khatam hua'aab sab apni apni gaadiyon mein phir se baith jao.."Everyone nods their heads and head straight for their respective cars.This time,Dutta opens the door and orders Tanay and Sethji to enter first.He says,"Tum log pehle jakar baith jao'"They obey.He then calls Naku and says,"Chal abb tu baith andar."Naku nods her head and follows Sethji inside.After Naku,Dutta himself climbs and shuts the door behind him.

SCENE7

Baji sits in front and says,"Chalo Bhau..tum log enjoy karo..aur main toh chala apne gaano ki duniya mein.."Saying so,he puts on his earphones and closes his eyes.Naku and Dutta look away in other directions.Slowly,Naku falls asleep again,her head falls on Dutta's shoulders.Dutta looks at her caringly and smiles.He puts one of his arms around Naku.After a few hours,they reach the plush farmhouse which is designed as a huge cottage with beautiful creepers growing around.A huge water body in front of the house with beautiful wooden bridge across it.The car stops in front of the cottage.The weather in Lonavla was beautiful with soft wind blowing and the trees dancing along with the wind.The black clouds spread across the horizon welcomes the guests.Everyone gets out of the car excitedly and head for the cottage.Baji orders the servants to take out the luggage and keep in the respective rooms.Aayi Sahib turned to some servants and says,"Jao..abb jaldi jaldi jakar raat ke khaane ki tayaari karo..lamba safar tha..sab bhukhe hai..:.Kala,leela and roops head for their rooms for a shower.Naku and her family also leave for their room.After refreshing and changing,everyone gathers in the dining room for dinner.

SCENE 8

After dinner,Naku goes out in the garden and stands on the wooden bridge.She is smiling and enjoying the weather with the wind blowing.Dutta comes out and joins her.He asks her,"Kya baat hai Naku,tu yahan,akele kya kar rahi hai??Raat ho gayi hia..itna lamba safar'tu thaki nahi hai kya??ya neend nahi aa rahi thi.."Naku looks at him and says dreamily,"Saab thakne,sone aur araam karne ka mauka toh har din mil jaata hai..par aaj,iss jagah pe aane ka mauka jeevan mein pehli baar mila hai'kitni sundarti bhari hai prakriti mein'zindagi key eh pal wapass aaye na aaye..isliye main aaj hi apne daaman mein inhe samet lena chahti hu aur innhe apne saath wapass le jana chahti hu.."Dutta looks at her amazed,as if she has put a trance around him'

SCENE 9

Kala looks at them from the window of her room and says to herself,"Abb dekh Naku main kya karti hu.."Saying so,she heads straight for Aayi Sahib's room and and enters it.She makes a concerned face and addresses Aayi Sahib,"Aayi Sahib,mujhe aapse kuch zaruri baat karni thi'"Aayi sahib nods her head in consent and says,"Bol kya baat hai Kala,itni chinta mein kyun lag rahi hai??"Kala continues,"aayi Sahib,apne Babi se waada kiya than a'ki Naku ke liye ladka dhundhengi..toh abb mujhe lagta hai apko uski shaadi ke liye dhundna hi chahiye kisi ko'Babi ka dukh mujhse dekha nahi jaata.Aur phir naku ki bhi umr chali jaayegi toh.."Aayi sahib thinks for a while,then adds,"Tu theek keh rahi hai Kala'mujhe Naku ke liye ladka dhundna hi chahiye'ek baar hum ghar wapass chale jaaye..toh main apni khoj shuru kar dungi.."Kala adds with fake enthusiasm,"Aur main bhi aapki madad karungi.."Aayi sahib pats kala's back.Kala gives an evil smile triumphantly.The frame freezes.
