@ksh: Dutta didn't do anything wrong yaar. If you look at his "flashbacks" alone, Supriya ACTUALLY looks like a great girl! When I just looked at the flashback I could not see her "evil" side. So Dutta's using what he sees to deduct what he can - and then he has Nakku, Baji and his mother pushing him towards the girl. If he has no REASON to hate her other than his "gut" and if everyone in his family is telling him she's good and she's SHOWING him that's she loves him too - then WHY would he not think about trusting her? Especially when he is getting married to her in "two" days! (The longest two days ever but still two days! 🤣). I really like the sensible progression in Dutta's thoughts. But that's just me.. The eternal optimist and all. 😆 And now I have company!! YAY! 🤗

Guys I feel that Naku has changed forever after yesterday. She will never be the same anymore after seeing dutta hug sup. I think she will become somewhat serious and less naive than she used to be. Even in yesterdays episode she didn't say one word to dutta. She just looked at him with empty eyes as if something inside her has died. I loved how Mahi acted in that scene. And I loved how malus tears jus wouldn't stop flowing. I also loved how she just went and stood in front of the mandir. Unlike other tv dramas' main leads who cry and shout and raise hell and even question god after losing their man to another, naku quietly accepted whatever came her way adn didn't complain about it. She knew that this would make dutta happy so she automatically forced herself to be happy about it too. Also thefact that she now wants to stay away from Dutta shows she has completely accepted this reality that dutta loves sup (god knows why) and doesn't want to get in the middle. I think she does this also bc she cannot see them together. It will hurt her too much.

I agree - Honestly, after yesterday's episode, I felt that Nakku had matured years in that one moment. She was "numb" - like she didn't feel anything. And she had that (like you put it) dead look in her eyes. And I LOVE how she was so "quiet" in her acceptance of her fate - I hate those over dramatic "WHY GOD WHY!?!" confrontations the protagonists have in front of God. Up until last night Nakku hadn't realized the entire gravity of the situation - she was too overwhelmed by the feeling of "love" to realize what she was committing to when she said that she would be able to bear Dutta's wedding with Supriya. But NOW she knows - and it's killed her a little inside - but now when she decides to be happy for Dutta, she also acknowledges and understands just how much pain it's going to cause her.
*sigh* Have I said how I love that the creatives pay so much detail to character development? Be it Nakku's, Dutta's, Baji's, Kaala's, Baabi's or Aayi Sahib's? Or any other character for that matter. I just LOVE their attention to detail! 😃

Yep Fivr...I agree on that. Infact if he was anything less I might have been disappointed with him. Datta does whatever he decides to do whole heartedly...love, hate, respect, friendship etc etc. If he has decided to get married he will try HIS best to make it work despite the complications in his life. thats what he wanted from sups too...and I think he saw that determination in sups thanks to Naku's convincing. He interpreted the wrist slitting as determination to be a part of his life in anyway. Plus aai saying that her guilt would ease if he settled down and had kids turned the tide in sups favor. i dont find him making a decision based on what aai or naku said as thats what he did didnt he when he first agreed to marry sups? for him it was aai's decision which he obeyed.
And I also love the fact that once the decision is made he's going the whole hog. and i am glad that he's showing his dutifulness and faithfulness towards sups as it means someday he will be the same towards naku. becuz today if he's anything less to sups he can be the same to naku.
Fivr I am glad we have each other! 🤗

I agree...Naku's eyes were so pained. I think for the first time her smile didnt reach her eyes. I guess till the time datta wasnt prepared to accept sups it was a little better. but once he did(to naku the hug indicated that) the final string that held her hopes together broke. she knew that now they have reached a point of no return in their relationship dynamics. datta's later chat with her only confirmed what she interpreted from the hug. till now she could find happiness in his...but now the pain has overwhelmed her. she forces herself to keep a brave face...but her joy of life is missing. and yes she has decided to keep away from datta not only so as not to cause any problems for him but more because she cant bear to be near him.

You know I didn't think of that - I was so disgusted by the stupidity of the wrist slashing. But this makes sense. Dutta probably sees this as her "determination" to be with him and share his pain (in some twisted way, but still). 🤔

Yaar, for some reason Nakku's "pain" seemed to stem from a "realization" of what all this really meant. I don't think she even realized what she'd bargained for - let alone hope k it wouldn't happen that way. To me I don't think it was breaking of her "hope" - she's still going to hope I'm sure - it was more of being shown the REALITY of the situation and finding out how ugly it is. I feel now she's going to stay away from Dutta because she knows for real what she's getting herself into and how much pain it's going to cause - and even though she'll still hope at some level, she won't be naive to believe that she will be able to bear the wedding. 🤔

Ok...I cant claim credit for this thought...my friend thought so...and to me it seemed the only logical explanation for his melting. also there is the fact that he's a total softie when it comes to damsels in distress.

@ksh: Well then thank your friend for me and thank you too for telling me - I was totally irritated by the logic behind the whole wrist slashing. But this makes sense. I like this thought - Dutta IS a softie for damsels-in-distress (like you said) and one that put herself in distress FOR him to trust her - now THAT is definitely going to leave a mark, so to speak. Which is why he believed her. This makes sense! Yay! 😃
