I might be being overly critical but I don't really see a lot of strength in Supriya's character. I feel like there's something lacking in her. Maybe it's because she is a temporary character and thus wasn't given much to do but still. Maybe giving her more lines and seeing her side of the story more will be nice. And when she just ran off from the dinner table I was like huh? Didn't get that until Aai explained lol. I care way too much about Nakusha's feelings to be concerned about Supriya's 😆 I am so mean but I just cannot really relate to Supriya right now.

And about the possessive thing I agree with you guys now. I think he is much too interested in Nakusha than is necessary. I mean, why would he let the entire family stay in the house if he wasn't possessive? Hmmm...

Also, on a related note, I absolutely LOVE Nakusha's mother's acting. That actress is so good! The way she understands her daughter's pain and tries to make her feel better was so touching. I think her dialogue delivery and timing are awesome!

yep...i love the mother daughter bonding. and i love the fact that in this case naku's mother knows what's going with naku right from the start unlike other clueless tv mothers.

Oh I agree! She's just .... there. I feel the only purpose she serves is to be a ladder for Tasha's relationship. Because of her presence, Nakku's "infatuation" or "reverence" for Dutta has gone up ten folds and it was because of her that Nakku and Dutta had that "pain" conversation and now Dutta trusts her. Other than that, I don't see much scope for this character. She hardly says something and gets scared if Dutta's voice even raises an octave. It's sort of weird. But as long as she's helping Tasha, I have no problem with her. 😆

Yeah...as long as she doesnt eye datta i too have no probs with her. btw i think the main purpose of her character was to remind the infatuated naku(and viewers) that datta is way out her league.

^^ Yeah, that and to provide some "reason" for Nakku and Dutta to have conversations and come close. Now that Supriya's in the picture Nakku and Dutta have something to "discuss' - first with that "pain" scene and later when he asked Nakku to keep an eye on Supriya, oh and lets not forget, the love letter. Like I said, I really think she's just a stepping stone to get to another level in Tasha's relationship - which I have no problems with. 😍

Hmm...yes you are right...i guess after datta gave naku and her family shelter and jobs there wasnt much "logical" reason for them to interact. afterall a man of few words like datta wouldnt get chatting with his cook's daughter under normal circumstances. sups provides them the common ground to interact and form a bond. 😃
