We have always heard good stories from people when coming on the subject of KSBKBT and the Viranis and how they all live together and show the importance of being together and how peace and happiness is when living together and during times of crisis, other family memebers are at your side and supporting you... all the happy stuff that we all wish we had and maybe we do have !!! ................. but does this serial show something that is also negative.... going seperate ways???

Nowdays.... most people live in their own house and the ideal house is mother, father and two children with grandmother and grandfather living in either a village or with one of their sons, but joint families are very rare nowdays.... am I right?

so when this story shows unity and strength.. it is a good thing and many families who went through with a batwara and relations got sour after that, came back together after watching this serial and there have been many stories after this online and in the newspapers.... so..... not that the issue of batwara has come up.... would it be right to show this on TV.. since many people might be discouraged to join and look at the aspects of being alone and doing whatever you want in your own domain????

I TOTALLY AGREE WID U
I MENA THIS SHOW HAS REALLY GUD IMPACT ON THE PPL WHO R WATCHING IT N NOW SHOWING THE BATWARA MIGHT RUIN THAT BUT WHO KNOWS MAY BE AFTER FEW EPISODE IT MIGHT SHOW THAT THEY ALL UNDERSTAND EACHOTHER N NOT GO THIER SEPEARTE WAYS. SO U NEVER NO. BUT ISNT IT TRUE THAT EVERYTHING HAS ITS GUD SIDE AND BAD SIDE.

i agree shriman.to some extend, it seems to divert the attention of the viewers to go in seperate ways as u said.they r showing a joint family and there is not one second in the house when no problem props up.while they r showing the importance of a joint family and how it helps to maintain the relationships, they also show some -ve shades of this like there is alays problems in a joint family.

My views slightly differ. Since many characters go missing, it seems okay. I mean if Hemanth, Chirag and Kiran too were active in Virani Business then Mihir could not have had such a easy way and of course, the brilliant way.

Living together is fine, because of all the support people can get in times of distress. But really the families can be more modularised.

Instead of one of the sons becoming the MD and thus have ability to overrule others, they should each be incharge of a division, where they have supreme authority.

Also the question of "Keys" in the house. Cant all bahus get to keep something important.

I think the MD ship and keys always went to the eldest son and bahu. But now in the fifth generation, the cousins and brothers are all of the same age, that they cant accept something cos they are a few months younger.

Finally, is Shanthiniketan gonna split ? Even if it does happen temporarily then they would just show the disadvantages and everybody would long to come back and be happily united again

nicely said deepthi di.we know that they will never show the division of the house but shriman is partly correct.people like luxury and peace instead of difficulties.if they r finding it uncomfortable in a joint family, they may definitely choose a nuclear family where a bit more peace is assured.

all joint families are not like shantiniketan.we cannot compare all families with the house in the serial.but it does duvert the attention of the ppl towards choosing to go in different ways.

kyunki being a very popular serial is watched by loads of people(if kyunki section is a clear example)👏.we cant say that this serial makes no impact on the viewers.

on the other hand, the viewers must be sensible enough to take it just as a serial and not that seriously
