Amit Tandon, who was last seen in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Manthan, is coming up with an album, a new show as well as hosting a musical show.
Amit has finished recording for his album and has shot the video too. "The first video will feature only me since the title is Tanha. Tips is releasing the album. Then the second video will have a Brazilian model Flavia. The title of the second one is Phri Teri Yaad," he said. His album is expected to release in the middle of this year.
Amit will also feature in a new show that will start soon on Zee TV. He is to play a character that resembles his brother's real life character. He said," The name of the show is Saath Saath Banayengi Aashiyana. I am playing an NRI in the show. He is Abhay, a Punjabi guy who has Indo-Western characteristics. He comes back from abroad to find that his father, who is conservative, had fixed his marriage with his friend's daughter. But this guy comes with his non-Indian girlfriend.
I have been through all this in real life, so I do not have to study or do research for this role. My brother has married a Mexican-American and my family is also a bit traditional. But it is nice to play such a character. We have begun shooting for the show. I am hoping the drama will continue in the show." The serial also stars Gagan Malli, who plays Shravan in Kumkum, and two new comers.
Amit also disclosed that he would be hosting a TV show based on youth. "The show is called Bolo Yo. It based on music and daily life and will also include interaction with college youth. I always wanted to do something related to music so I always wanted to do something related to music and I am getting the chance now."
Last but not the least, Amit will also feature in a new reality show about which he says he will reveal details later.
